Perfectly situated close to Ginza, Hibiya Park and Imperial Palace.

This hotel is in a great location in Ginza. The shopping is all around the hotel and the entrance to the subway right outside the front entrance. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are spacious and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting Tokyo.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating during my stay. The area is super convenient for first timers visiting Japan as it is very centralized in Ginza, and there is a metro station right outside of the hotel. The area is clean and very safe, and I would recommend this place for anyone who wishes to stay in Ginza.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Gate Tokyo. The lobby is stunning, the room was very comfortable and we all enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Our only slight issue was that the pillows were very hard for some of our family— but that is a super minor concern in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Excellent hotel, right next to Ginza within walking distance. There is a taxi stand and subway right outside the hotel. JR station is also 5 mins walking distance. Imperial palace and garden are two blocks away. The hotel is quiet and clean. The breakfast is western style with a great selection of fruit, salad and pastries. The hotel staff is very friendly. Will definitely stay again if visiting Tokyo.

Easy to get to. Particularly good location for shopping at department stores and brand stores. The nearby izakayas were a nice surprise which serve traditional Japanese food and beer (if you don’t mind eating alongside sometimes boisterous salarymen). The hotel is nice, rooms are clean with good amenities. The higher floors provide a great view of the area.

I just wished the bar hours were longer because we did like the settings in the terrace (the other bars in the city, around this hotel, seems to be exclusive to smokers, since they can’t smoke on the streets).

We stayed for six nights with our family. We loved the king size bed and the shower/tub combination for our toddler. The staff was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!

We had an excellent three-night stay pre-cruise. It’s a beautiful property and our corner room was outstanding. Very spacious, comfortable, and silent with an enormous double-sink bath, separate tub and shower, and a window. Hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shopping with metro station access right outside the hotel entrance.

The hotel room was superb - well appointed, spacious and very clean. Hotel is very well located - right in the middle of Ginza and on top of a metro station. Lots of fantastic food options around the hotel also. Staff seemed a little impersonal but that may be due to language barrier or may be Japanese custom (is our first hotel in Japan). Overall we loved this hotel and would stay again

Wow, way nicer than I expected. This is a very classy hotel. Perfect location, polite staff, great view of the hustle and bustle of the city from the rooftop patio area. Just book it!

The rooms are relatively large, with spacious shower and bathrooms. Service in the lobby and lounge area was very attentive. The cocktails at the bar are also well crafted and balanced. The bar tenders are meticulous. Great location, super convenient to the subway lines and shopping areas. Lots of dining options nearby also.
