I love it at this hotel. We meet our Northern California family here to spend time and catch up on life. They are dog friendly and a full at have a pet menu.
This time it was for a wedding!

This is our fourth stay and love it every time! The outside fire pits and dining area are wonderful and inviting. The room is always clean and beds are so comfortable! Very dog friendly which is a plus. Only thing I wish was different would be the cost of parking. 45.00 a night seems high and there is no other option as very limited street parking.

Perfectly situated on the beach, easy to walk the boardwalk to pier or downtown for shopping.
Staff was extremely friendly and also all very attractive. Just beautiful people everywhere.
I personally would have enjoyed lively music at the pool during the day, as it was extremely quiet. Drinks and food from the hotels restaurant “Pequin” was excellent. Loved the tacos poolside or fireside! Shoutout to Daniel and Drew:)

Nice place, but woke up to cigarette smoke both mornings (neighbor smoking on his deck). Been coming to Pismo Beach for 30 + years and never paid for hotel parking (two nights valet parking $160.00). Better options out there, won’t be coming back to Vespera Resort.

While this property is beautiful and the rooms are nice, they allow non-registered hotel guests to use amenities for free. We were unable to get a table by a fire pit during our entire stay. People who live blocks away fill the tables all day long. For the price they charge, you would think registered guests would be a higher priority. The price for valet parking is outrageous too.

Hotel is beautiful. Unfortunately, they seem to be under staffed, during our stay. There was miscommunication during our check-in and I have never seen so many guest asleep in the lobby waiting for a room. Dogs barking, kids crying, and their food was not good. Due to this experience we missed our reservation which then had a ripple effect on other plans. I believe it is over priced. BTW, pool has very limited seating.We did received great service from the manager Devon, who was empathetic and kind in trying to help the situation.

We received a Room next to the Parking lot and paid way too much. Every Morning at 6.30 am they collect the Garbage and at night there’s music and noise from the Parking lot. The Sea View isn‘t spectacular, which I would never pay again.
The Pool is overcrowded and small. The best thing is the Room cleaning, which was very fast and tidy.

We did not go because we had booked the hotel for next week. Somehow between booking the date and finalizing the booking, Hotels.com changed the date and we did not realize it until it was it late to cancel. WE are very disappointed and they need to change that glitch in their system.

Didn’t like the room price but everything was good— not quite up to $1000 a night but nice!!

The staff outside taking food and drink orders did not help us and we tried to order food for an hour - they would not make eye contact or respond when we asked twice for kids menus - it was from 2 to 3 in the afternoon and we finally had to leave to go get the family lunch elsewhere. Everything else about the hotel was excellent and the waitresses in the evening were very attentive both nights.

Hotel is nice but no nice restaurants outside the hotel or nearby areas. We ate mostly at the hotel’s only restaurant. We drove out 20 minutes to find a restaurant. Public is allowed to come into part of the hotel facility and it’s quite busy around the hotel - outside not clean. Surprisingly not much area to walk my dog for her to do her business unlike other hotel properties around residential areas. This hotel is surrounded by retail stores. I got a room with oceanview and I couldn’t really enjoy sitting in patio because people were walking around, cars driving around right outside the patio.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beauty and location of the Vespera. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of work being done with the spa and the pool that we were not able to enjoy these amenities. As a Mariott Bonvoy member, I ask you consider a credit toward our account especially for the days our activities were limited due to maintenance work.

We had an amazing time at Vespera Resort! Our check-in with Taj was exceptional; his great demeanor and professionalism was so appreciated. The beautiful ocean view room and outstanding service from all staff made our stay truly enjoyable. We will definitely return!!!

By far the best hotel I've stayed at. The staff was super nice and friendly. This is my go to hotel from now on. The view is beautiful and I loved how close it was to the beach. I also recommend the restaurant Pequin it wont disappoint.
