Very good experience super friendly staff and clean rooms

The ladies at the reception were friendly and professional. The young man in the breakfast area was outstanding! He worked so hard, was professional and friendly to the guest. He kept the breakfast area in top shape. I was very impressed

There was no hot water in the shower, the safe deposit box was broken, and they ran out of eggs and other items in the middle of breakfast time. Nobody cared about the guests, and lots of them were upset.

The hotel is nice but the parking garage is inconvenient

I got to the hotel around 9:00 pm. I had called ahead of time to note that I would be arriving a little later. When I got there, they had given my room to someone else and no others were available in type of room I reserved. They then provided a room type that was about 25.00 cheaper than the one I had reserved and no they did not refund any of the prepaid amount. They told me I would have to work with the company I reserved the room with. I got to the room and it smelled like cat urine as soon as I opened the door. I did not go any further into the room. I turned around went back to the lobby. Told them the room had a foul odor, where I received multiple eye rolls and huffs like I was totally inconveniencing them. I am a part time travel agent and have never stayed at a hotel that when they made a mistake on my room that they didn’t provide a higher level too, shoot even when I wasn’t an agent, I was never treated that way. If it weren’t that it was already late and I was heading to the cruise terminal the next morning, I would have cancelled the room altogether. This is not a hotel that I will be providing as an option for my travel clients.

The front desk staff was friendly and informative. The breakfast staff was doing an excellent job keeping food available for the large number of guests. The cleaning staff was on site, constantly working. I thanked every staff member I saw. Unfortunately, there were no pool towels available, so we used our room towels. We requested 2 more towels, twice, but never received any more towels to shower with. Also, the sink and tub both had draining issues, and one of the lamp shades by the bed was covered with brown droplet stains.

Check In at 4:00 lol, never happened and wasn’t even close. Walked in just before 4:00 to about a dozen pissed off people. When we tried to check in we were told “we try to get people in at that time, sorry”. Then when asked how long, couldn’t give us an answer. Then we were told we could store our luggage but wasn’t “guarded”. About 9:00pm we made it to our room only to get a call saying we need to come back down because they forgot to ask for a CC for incidentals. Total cluster, kids running around everywhere screaming and yelling at 1:00am and desk says “we’ve had lots of complaints” but didn’t do anything. Sad too because the room was great and so close to the Spot and the Beach

I just got an email to review bill and check out. I’m not ready to check out but it automatically checked me out Yesterday we got here at 12:30 and we waited to 4:00 to get in our room after traveling all morning. It was a waste of a day and we needed rest. Just seems unorganized behind the scenes. I would not come back to this hotel.

Charged 15 dollars for parking a night. Parking garage was behind the hotel and not connected. Garage was shared with a restaurant. This is the only parking and no valet. We are disabled. The parking garage gate was not working and the elevator was also not working. So we were forced to use the stairs, which was very difficult and dangerous for us. Don’t know how wheelchair bound person could park.

We chose this hotel because of the reviews of the cleanliness and overall good experience. I’m not sure if it was a bad time of the year to go or what but it was everything except clean. We start off with the first red flag of human urine in the elevator. These elevators never got better-always nasty, smelly, and hot. The second and worst red flag was the overwhelming smell of cat urine and musty odor in our room. It was honestly sickening. Some reviews mentioned feeling safe in the hotel… I’m not sure how because our door was not safe at all. We constantly found it slightly open each time we came back from being out; same for the balcony door. Overall it’s not the greatest hotel and could use some deep cleaning.

Great view and comfortable

I guess my biggest issue was some mornings there wasn’t enough breakfast and a lot of people were standing lines waiting for more to come, so there never seemed to be enough food for the volume of people that were staying there. There were flies lingering around, during breakfast, from I’m assuming, the sliding glass door entrances constantly opening and closing.

I would like them to give me what I paid for because they didn't give me the room that the ad said,after that everything is good close to the Pier

The breakfast was good, the service was great; we liked the water station in the lobby of the hotel, very convenient.

It was portrayed as a high end luxury type property. I have previously stayed on gorgeous Holiday Inn Express properties. This was dirty and when I requested something be done about the room cleanliness I was told that as I had checked in 45 minutes previously it was my problem. No house keeping and no other room was offered. The A/C was not working in the hall and they had a huge industrial blower in the hall. My room was set at 68 to compensate and the controls weren’t working, just a very disappointing stay. For !30 more I could have been at a Marriott property.

We will return love this place.

The room was clean. The property is in an amazing location, but that is it. The staff is friendly, but if you need anything or have any sort of problem, like needing toilet paper, they cannot handle it at all. They seem confused or just aloof. It’s not run as a hotel. The pool was never cleaned in a week and looked like a murky swamp. Every day, our keys expired at 11 a.m., even though we said we were staying for a week. They entered the room with a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door and cleaned it. No one on the team speaks English, which is fine, but again, if you have any sort of issue, it makes it very difficult. Multiple guests were at the desk throughout our stay, arguing with the very aloof or rude front desk staff. It was a very awkward stay, not what you would expect from an express hotel at all, and certainly not following brand standards.

I made this reservation a year ago and asked for a beach front balcony. I got a balcony alright. it faced an empty dirty lot. Very disappointed

Parking was inconvenient

This is the third year in a row we’ve stayed here. It’s always very clean. This year the customer service wasn’t as good. Our room was refreshed and they took our towels but didn’t leave us any clean one. The pool was closed for bad weather but the following day the weather was good. Around 3:00 we asked if they could open the pool. The person we talked to seemed annoyed with our request. (6 kids total… who couldn’t wait to go swim in the pool) Other than that it’s a very clean hotel. Someone is continually sweeping and mopping the main floor.
