Our family enjoyed an amazing eight-day stay at Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotless, with comfortable beds and excellent amenities. Housekeeping kept everything in pristine condition daily.
The food was exceptional, offering a wide variety for every meal. From hearty breakfast buffets to exquisite dinners, every dish was delicious. The restaurant staff were attentive and accommodating, enhancing our dining experience.
The pool area was a highlight. Well-maintained with plenty of loungers and umbrellas, it provided a fantastic spot for relaxation. Our children loved the kids' pool, while we enjoyed the serene adults' pool. The spa facilities were also excellent, offering a peaceful escape.
The staff at Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa were outstanding. From our arrival, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Every team member went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, always ready to assist and ensuring we felt welcome.

Pros: clean, modern facility, good breakfast and dinner food selection, at the center of shopping and restaurant area, and close to the beach.
Cons: VERY confusing food and drinks policy where even the all-inclusive package does not pay for cocktails, spirits and drinks, which are not exorbitantly expensive (€12 Pina-Colada, anyone?). Expedia did not highlight this, nor did it warn us that we were booking a room with half-board package, so it was an unpleasant surprise that even after paying for an "all-inclusive" stay we still had to pay for water and drinks at the dinner, and go for lunch to an outside restaurant (lunch was not included either). There is absolutely nothing to do at the hotel, there is no entertainment whatsoever, except for an oddball musician after lunch and a DJ once a week. Do NOT stay there with kids, they will get bored after a day at the pool. Even getting a sunbed around the main pool is tricky, there is a race that happens daily at 9am when the pool opens, with people jumping one over another to put a towel or even a hat to reserve a sunbed for a day. There are additional sunbeds at the hotel's beach house, but the pool there is tiny. The beach is a few minutes from the beach house, but the sunbeds in the beach are all reserved in the morning, and are spaced so densely that there is no relaxing there unless you like spending time in a crowd. The sea is OK, with black sand and rocky floor, so we ended up spending most of the time around pools.

Amazing stay, loved every second. However, could improve on the lunch timings - as it is too close to breakfast and too far from dinner which can leave you hungry for a while & the snack options are very limited.

The Akasha Resort, made the reservation a year ago this was our first stay, from the front desk at check in, to check out there were greetings with smiles, even a (hug).
Great suggestions for a quick bite, in walking distance, (food was delicious). Our bags were in our spotless room by the time we opened the door. The buffet was delicious and diverse. The service in the buffet, pool, and beach were excellent. We can’t wait to come back and hope to stay longer then 5 days. This is most definitely a 5 star Resort.

This resort is truly excellent. If you are looking for a quiet, clean and picturesque place to unwind then look now further.
The facilities provided are of an immaculate standard and the staff couldn’t be any more welcoming and accommodating. I don’t know what you are paying them but they all deserve raise!

Absolutely lovely hotel. Very comfortable areas inside and out. Staff friendly and attentive. Food and drinks good. Can’t fault it, I’ll be going back there, or to another hotel in that group for sure!! Advice….just book all inclusive, it’s well worth it and saves hassle every time you order a delicious cocktail!!

The staff and spa were amazing. The food options however left a lot to be desired. The hotel it’s self was lovely. I would advise try to get a room on the ground or upper levels for a better view as we were on -1 and the view was just of an entrance to the building

We are vegetarian and they have arranged a number of vegetarian things for us in breakfast and dinnerIt was my wife's birthday on one of the days and they have provided the complimentary cake and breakfast within our room just as a surprise Overall it was an amazing experience on staying with this hotel.

The service is not 5* in the slightest. The staff are so rude and arrogant. I have never been spoken to or treated so rudely. Every second during food they would come and ask for a signature which is so disruptive whilst I am eating. We had to pay for our drinks (half board) and every single morning they brought our coffees and teas cold. The food is sub par. If you visit all inclusive places often then you will be disappointed by the choice and quality. My friends paid for full board and even they had to pay for certain drinks and cocktails!!!

We have selected this hotel due to the nice contact with the hotel. All was perfect with an amazing pool private sea view. The staff is very kind and very adorable, their only objective is to satisfy the client.
The beach is easily accessible from any room, there is only a public feet road to cross.
A very special thanks to Miss Maria for her kindness and professionalism.
A real special thanks to Miss Ionna in the reception desk, she is very nice and always available with a sincere smile, she only wanted to make sure that everything is going perfectly.
We highly recommend this hotel and will come back soon.

After other five star hotels in Crete, Akasha was a disappointment. Hotel is new, beds are comfy and restaurant staff are friendly. Beside that the hotel doea not meet the standards of a five star hotel.
It has way too many rooms compared to the size of the area. Hotel and pool area feels very crowded. There are not enough sunbeds on the main pool area. Other pool is situated near beach and it is small and ugly.
One problem is also the area, Hersonissos. The place has stuck to 90s. I would not visit here again.

המלון היה מהמם מכל הבחינות, הצוות הנקיון והבריכה, ארוחת הבוקר היתה טובה מאוד אך ארוחת הערב צריכה שיפור, הזמנו חדר רגיל עם בריכה פרטית והם שדרגו אותו לחדר דזלינג עם נוף לים והבריכה, זה היה מאוד שווה. הבריכה מהממת ומאוד יפה, יש גם הבריכה ליד החוף הזמנו שם מלא אוכל טעים מהבר וישבנו בפרטיות כי אנשים העדיפו הבריכה הראשית, לסיכום הכל היה מושלם והמחיר היה מאוד שווה.
