Fun place on the beach and walkable To all OOB activities. Is advertised as renovated and the bedroom was but bathroom wasn’t!

Very walkable to the pier and the beach, quiet hotel with access to multiple pools and a hot tub

Clean, cute room, kind of small, but close to the ocean. Beautiful lobby, but check in is inconvenient as you have to go down the street. Parking is also difficult

Rooms need to be updated and especially invest in good curtains blocking the outside light

The room I got looked nothing like the picture. The floors and table were dirty when we arrived. The housekeeper only comes when you call the day before so you need to call every day or walk over to the office if you want clean towels. The grilling area is filthy and we had to wait 45 minutes for propane tanks. I will not ever be staying at Ocean House again

Great hotel for a few days stay. The king poolside room does not have views of the ocean which was a disappointment. Also the parking is terrible, you likely wont be able to find a parking spot near the room. The owners own several properties so you also have to check in at Waves, which also has horrendous parking. The pool outside Ocean House is not heated, which is not ideal as it is cold even in the summer. The first floor of ocean house is very nice with lots of seating options and is open to all guests of ocean house even if you are staying in the poolside rooms. The rooms themselves were updated recently, and they were nice, but I think the renovations stopped before getting to the bathroom. The shower head was small (but had good pressure) and the tub and sink looked like they were from the 1970s while the rest of the room was super updated.

Our little family loved this place...except for one thing...the beds! They were so firm and uncomfortable, not much better than sleeping on the floor. Also FYI, the train goes by multiple times (at least 4) per day/ night and it is loud! You can't really hear it if you're in the pool or beach, but in the street side suit, you can. Otherwise, loved that it was on the beach, the pool was heated, walked to the pier and amusement park downtown area daily along the beach, loved that we could put the kid to bed and close the door in our street side suite, the kitchenette was stocked with pans and essentials we needed. We drove to the local Shop & Save for food to grill on the public grills at the pool (Sea View Inn pool). Dear property manager, please update the inside and fix minor broken things (ceiling fan, radiators, ceiling tiles, stove top).

Very beautiful spot and right near the water!

This was a great find. Our room had beautiful ocean views right over the dunes. It was a short walk to the beach and pools. It’s a crowded area so there is noise but nothing too obnoxious. The hotel has been completely remodeled and done very well. There is no service unless you request it but that’s pretty standard around here from what I hear. When we did ask about anything, staff was friendly and helpful. We would absolutely stay again.

Our family had a wonderful stay! The overall feel of the hotel is classically cool! The bedding was also super cozy and comfyty and the room smelt fresh! The teller at the front desk sesk wasn't super friendly which is rare in OOb. Still , an excellent stay !!

The Ocean House Hotel was beautifully renovated, yet kept much of it's original charm. My family and I spent a few day/nights there and we were very satisfied. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was also very close to the beach. I would definitely stay there again!

Older hotel but very well maintained and charming. Bathroom appeared to be recently renovated. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was great. We had great services, great view, the cleanliness was really good considering the sand of beach aroung the place. Cet endroit était vraiment très bien.

Would have liked an additional safety feature on the hotel room door. Only a deadbolt opened by actual keys and we observed 3 keys on a hallway sitting out which concerned us.Great staff at check-in and convenient location.

Although there are 5 pools among the Lafayette group's properties, our OH pool was green and under repair, and the Waves pool had to be shocked multiple times a day due to kids. New shower curtain and comfortable bed are about the best things I can say for this property.

Let me start by saying that this hotel is owned by a group that owns two other properties here, one of them being Waves. Normally that is where I stay because I usually have 3 other family members that join, but this year it was just me & my youngest so I decided to get a smaller room. Not again They don't tell you if you are being put in the hotel or motel. I had no idea it was separate. First, I had booked a room with a kitchenette, they put me in the wrong room & had to move me. In the first room the floors were DIRTY dirty & the shower barely worked. In the second room the floor was also super dirty, & i couldn't get the shower to work. 4 people came to look at it and couldn't figure it out because they are kids. The next day I mentioned it again to a staff supervisor who was really nice but also a kid & asked if I had called the front desk at 930p the previous night to report it lol. Finally the master plumber came & in 2 seconds figured out that the knob was put on backwards. My room had no curtains, just blinds. The people staying at this property sucked. They literally all were smoking weed, which isnt a huge deal except for when youre trying to sit outside with your kid in the sitting area, which is just chairs outside of each room. The beach is 2 seconds away, take a walk. The coffee pods dont match the coffee maker which isnt a huge deal except when there are other issues then it's like this TOO?! Staff is friendly

It’s was right on the beach which was great!

Our room in the motel section was spacious, moden and very clean. Right by the beach, so a really short walk. Nice pool area too! Also included Keurig machine, toaster, microwave and small fridge with a freezer. I would definitely return!

Not enough parking. Noisy toilet. TV had no guide. Microwave very loud. Phone did not work. Internet did not work most of the times.

I loved that it was beautifully updated at the Ocean house as well as the layour of the house.

This is a beautifully restored and updated property right on the ocean. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The lobby and sitting rooms on the ground level are gorgeous.

Parking not great , house area for rooms was beautiful and clean, other resort property not as nice. Check in not convenient and no elevator. Nicely renovated and decorated rooms and house setting

Love love love the property! I wish the room did have a dresser for storage long your belongings but overall loved the place , will stay here again.

Great location, beautiful room . Blinds didn’t even come close to blocking out the morning sun. Train run all hours of the night ( not hotels fault ) and blow their horns because they are in town .

Rooms were not clean. We found a balloon and beer can in our room.

Great place for a solo traveler. Very close to Amtrak. Easy access to beach, several pools, and fitness room. Helpful staff and clean room.
