I loved everything. It was a very welcoming. The rooms were very clean I loved sitting outside on the wooden swing looking at the mountains. We will be back to stay again,

We loved our stay and we’re grateful we picked Estes Lake Lodge. We came down, unknowingly, during “Elkfest”, which had tons of people coming in to enjoy. Estes Lake Lodge had the best location so we weren’t at all swamped like the rest of Estes Park. We got the greatest treat as a family of over 12 elk camped down right in front of us! Excellent bird watching too. We were lucky to have a fireplace and the office is open 24 hours for supplies you need, like firewood, And the check in and out process is user friendly. Its all “on your own”, which we appreciated. We will stay there again.

The elk were in the yard! Amazing! Very quaint. Needs a hot tub.

Cute place at a reasonable price

property is beautiful, our room needed more electrical outlets, when you have phones, hearing aides, CPAP machine, and hairdryers and other things there were not enough, soap dispensers in bathrooms' need marked what's in them. Thanks for the beautiful area to vacation in. Check in and the office was great.

The Lodge provided us a very relaxing weekend stay. Email communication before our arrival was prompt and thorough. The staff was friendly and helpful on-site. It's located in close proximity to roads, shops, and the fairgrounds. I'd stay here again, first choice.

There was a small inconvenience when we started our stay, but Stephanie and Mark resolved it within the hour. My wife and I were impressed with their professionalism and care. The Wi-Fi was beyond impressive at 300mbps DL speeds - absolutely incredible. We had a fridge, comfy-cozy bed, and place to hang our coats. I would highly recommend Estes Lake Lodge. I would come back here again.

The property was adequate but dated. The bed was too hard (personal preference) and squeaky. We had a 1st floor room and the ceiling above squeaked with any movement from the tenants above us. The noise from the highway was a bit annoying at times but diminished after about 10pm. Overall our stay was good.

The property is old and rustic , but the place is quiet and accessible

we loved the hummingbird feeders. Cabin was comfortable and had what we needed.

The cabin was clean and nice inside. The kitchen, bathroom, living room, and dining room area were clean and well equipped. We stayed 6 nights. The only detractions in the cabin was the couch (worn out) and no dresser/closet space.The office was next to our cabin, which made it easy to grab supplies for the cabin. They had a swing (needed a slat fixed) and benches above the lodge and cabins. It was a great way to zen and watch the sunset over Estes Park.

Nobody in the office, all keys in envelopes free to take and when we got to the room it looked as tho someone tried to kick the door in. NOT AS ADVERTISED! Had to scramble to find a hotel to stay in, what a JOKE!!!!!!!!! The room was very clean, patio looked unkept. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and sheets were scratchy. The couch could have been more comfortable as sutting and watching a football game was uncomfortable!It was nice to have a table to eat at. We never seen an employee at checkin or any other time.

Loved the location near Lake Estes, lots of wildlife near and on the property.

The view was nice. The room was out so good. Mouse droppings on kitchen counter. Smelled of mice. Overall felt dirty. No mattress cover on bed, bedspread looked really dingy

Location is unmatched. Beautiful views and watching the elk play in the lake was amazing. Inside was dated but the bathroom was not great at all.

Loved that it’s located 4 mins from Fairgrounds. Nicely upgraded with Western decor. Not pet friendly.

This is an older property that I am guessing was built in the 1950s or 60's. It has been partially remodeled. I would have liked to seen better finishes (i.e. baseboards installed in the room, newer / better tile on the bathroom walls). We know what the owners are trying to do here .. and we respect that. It is more affordable than most and we appreciate that as well. A little more attention to details... and it would have been great.

It was a cute place in a great location for us. Overall it was a perfect getaway. The room had been updated and was really nice decor. The only thing I can think of was the bath was a little dated. No big deal to me but the wife wasn’t too sure about it. Lol Well supplied room, we didn’t used the grills but there were some nice ones out there available.

The good the bad and the dirty. My husband and I stayed in pine 3 on the first floor. The location is fantastic. Some people say this place is outdated but it's not it's just poorly put together construction that isn't completely done. I can deal with old but I can't deal with dirty. the description said refrigerator and stove but it should have said mini frig and fire hazard. After spending an hour cleaning the kitchen area and looking at the bathroom wondering how they thought this was suitable for the price they're charging daily is beyond me. Maybe the other rooms are better but I've stayed in camp sites that were cleaner. The walls and roof are thin so we can hear everything and I mean everything. after 1130 pm rolled around it was quite. The location makes up for half of the problems. 200 yard from the front door is a lake that has all kinds of birds including the American bald Eagle. Hummingbirds by the hundreds come and go from the property due to the numerous feeders everywhere. The sun rise and set is wonderful and the people staying here are all very nice and friendly. It is a very sort drive to the park and town. Honestly if you are a walker you can walk into town from here. Within 5 miles you have everything you need. So would I stay here again? absolutely not. I'd rather take my sleeping bag and stay in the woods.

Room was very cozy with a fireplace. Wood can be purchased at the office.

Beautiful location and perfect view of Lake Estes! We spent over an hour watching a large herd of elk play in the lake. Plenty of space for the 6 of us that stayed there. Can’t wait to come back!

very nice place

The place is pretty run down, tacky decor. No TV service, only have DVDs. The office stays open 24/7 and you can go in as you wish and get DVDs, towels, etc so that was handy. We paid over $200 to stay one night, we stayed in some seriously nice hotels for way less than that. But I think every place is overpriced in Estes Park.
