The hotel is just off the Strip near Sahara and The Strat, and is very nice and quiet. The building was created as a casino, but all of that has been removed, which is part of what drew me to it. No casino in the hotel means quiet nights! The Barista Bar is excellent, and the restaurant is great too. I only ate breakfast at the Italian restaurant, and did not go to the steak house.
I hope that they owners have plans to use the very empty space for some more guest amenities. It seems very empty. Maybe once the Fairgrounds get built out?
The location is a little rough, being at that end of the Strip, but the DTLV Arts district is close by. That neighborhood is a vibrant and fun break from the casinos and themed hotels.

Really loved this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast provided each day had some great choices. The free parking was secure and had easy access to the hotel. We enjoyed that we were close to the strip but away from all the noise, and close to the Arts District, which gave us more choices to go to. The bus is nearby and it's a short ride to almost anywhere. Would definitely stay here again.

We always have an amazing time at this hotel. The only Problem. This time where the pillows that were too hard and puffy. We couldn’t rest well with them. Other than that. Everything was perfect. Like always.

The location is great and it's a really beautiful hotel in the rooms are nice. There's food and events that happen at the hotel. The TV in our room was broken.

We had a quick overnight business trip and stayed here just to sleep. It was a great option, very clean, comfortable, and smelled fresh and clean as well. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, and we appreciated not having to leave the hotel and drive into Vegas to find breakfast. The free, easy self parking was very nice as well. We would stay here again.

We had our room reserved almost a year in advance. Check in time is at 3:00pm. We arrived a little after 3, checked in and was told our room would be ready in a few minutes. We asked how we would be notified and was told they would call us.
Not a problem. We went upstairs and ate at their pizza restaurant which was good with great service. An hour later, no call. So when we finished dinner we went back to the front counter where we waited an additional 10-15 minutes while the clerk left the counter, went to the back, came back out, left again, came back once more and told us she is checking with housekeeping. I explained we had already waited an hour and we had a show to see. Shortly after they found us a room.

The restaurant, Joel’s Chophouse, was not at the same level as the hotel. The service was so negligent we asked for the bill before the main course was served because we had waited 40 minutes after our appetizer and salad without anyone checking on us. Stay at the Ahern, but avoid this restaurant.

No complaint. Quiet and clean. Slept really well after a long drive to Las Vegas and the mattress was really comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was high-quality and I ended up coming back even after I checked out of the hotel. I'll definitely come back.

Easy check-in. Clean room. The internet service was a little spotty, but not as bad as many hotels that promise in-room internet but don't really deliver. We wished for coffee in our room and missed that in the early morning hours, but the breakfast that came with our room was terrific. Free parking was a bonus. We recommend this lovely place.

Very modern and clean hotel in LV, well located a few steps away from the Strip, but in a much more quiet vibe. As a big plus, this hotel does not charge resort fees. The only small drawback is the absence of breakfast, but there's a café in the building or other choices in the vicinity.

We would happily stay at this hotel every time we come to Vegas! The price couldn't be beat - super clean and very comfortable bed and pillows too. The restaurant is excellent. We enjoyed every offering.
We loved that there was no smoke smell in the complex. Everything was laid out well. Very convenient because the parking structure is integrated with the hotel, restaurants and even a fancy cannabis/CBD dispensary next door. Next time we know the layout and arrival will be so smooth!

I love the Ahern and all it represents. No nonsense style of Las Vegas. Great location. Off the beaten path. No smoking. No casino. No party goers. Quiet. Excellent restaurant and bar and coffee shop. Parking is available. Check-in is always loud and noisy for some reason. The staff is really smart.

Everything was descent and the price was amazing until we went to get the complimentary breakfast. It was the most awful customer service I have ever received. It left such an unsavory taste that pretty much ruined the experience. We actually ordered extra items not just the free breakfast. It was horrifying.

This hotel was really the best of Vegas without having to stay immediately on the Strip and pay all the resort fees. The property was comfortable and clean, and it was in proximity to the Strip. Every staff member was extremely friendly, and the property was clean. The bed was really comfy too. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Way better than others in the area for the price. Staff nice. Rooms pretty clean and updated. Sheets/pillows not the most comfortable for me but fine for a night. Free silver member breakfast had 3 options you could choose from that are cooked to order: waffle with berries or eggs/ sausage or avocado toast. All great. Kids ordered pancakes off regular menu and loved them

It was a little confusing getting to the hotel front desk as there were two buildings next to each other which both belong to Ahern. Perhaps signage to the hotel lobby place at the entrance of both doors directing to the correct building… That said, the security guard was most pleasant and helpful and even walked me to the correct building and directed my husband where the free parking was. Free breakfast was a plus too with three different choices to choose from. Room was spacious and bathroom and shower stalls were clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Not what it used to be. Staff with attitude. (used to be super friendly and nice, just the greatest people when they opened). Waitress lecturing you at pizza place when I was ready to leave her a fat tip, well did not happen. Room is dirty, let alone the outrageous security deposit they hit you with right at check in. I have been here at least 5-7 times, referred friends to this place, well not anymore...

I have traveled all over the world. And the Ahern was the cleanest by far of all the hotels I have stayed. The Concierge Effie Lantia was outstanding with helping my family with things to do while there!!!!

I have to have surgeries in Vegas. This is my go to hotel. Prices are great and the inside of hotel is very nice. Rooms are quiet and clean.

I loved that the parking is free, the rate is cheap, and they offer free breakfast for silver members. However, the room could be cleaned better and the front staff could be a little more professional.

I enjoyed the pink tinted windows. The views and sunset colors were beautiful with the pink tint. Didn’t like the $50 early check in fee.

Great and delicious breakfast, best I’ve had as a complimentary breakfast. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Only complaint is that the shower feels cold and there’s not enough space to hang clothes
