This has been our favorite beach stay by far and we have been all over from VA, MD, DE, NC, SC.. the cottage was perfect for our and family and in an amazing location between the bay, the main beaches, and all the restaurants, shops, and the boardwalk. Highly recommend renting this, we will absolutely be back! Our family stopped by to see it as they were stayjng at a campground close by and they loved the house and location so much they are looking into renting it as well. Very clean, very responsive and helpful!

The cottage was small but perfict for 2 people and had good view from the side porch of Monroe Bay. It was clean and had what was needed in the kitchen. The owner was responsive to the tv problem and very friendly. We had a great time in a relaxing, quite location.

We loved the area and plan to return with family. We loved the cabinets (easy close and so quiet) and fenced yard for our dog. Plus the screened in porch with ceiling fan and table was nice. This is great place for a small family- but because of the small living room I wouldn’t suggest more than 2 adults. There are water views on both ends of the street and everything you need is nearby! Definitely rent the golf cart! It’s a lot of fun.

Location was great, quiet, and simple. The place was clean, spacious, and great for the two of us to enjoy relaxation right by the water. The outdoor patio was great and plenty of food options just a few minutes away. We had a great stay!

Colonial Beach is a quaint, quiet and friendly town. This cottage is super sweet and fits the area. The golf cart and location of the home were perfect to see sunrises and sunsets every day.

Stayed here with our friends for the weekend. They had a dog and small child so the fenced in property was perfect! Enjoyed the screened in porch at night. We added on a golf cart and had a blast discovering the area. Loved seeing all the different homes around us and ate/drank a few times at Dockside which was a really fun, vacation vibe. Will definitely come back to the area.

The cottage was just as we expected! A nice place to unwind and enjoy the area with family. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Having the golf cart added to our rental was well worth having! Fun to drive around (and keep the sand out of our car). Our favorite restaurant was High Tides on the boardwalk. We look forward to returning in the future.

This property was a great fit for our small family and large dog, who loved lounging on the porch. The renovations are thoughtful, everything was comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet, and communicating with our hosts was fantastic. We'll be back!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our trip! The house is in a great and convenient location, easily accessible to all the food places and beaches. We were able to rent a golf cart for our stay from the owners we used to get everywhere. The screened porch was perfect for enjoying coffee and breakfast in the AM and a glass of wine from one of the local wineries in the PM. We were even allowed to bring our dog and with a gated yard, she could run around as she pleased. Any questions we had were quickly responded to, would recommend to others!

We loved this property. Everything was clean and comfortable. Everything looked to be newly remodeled. Easy check in/out. And it was easy to get around town and to the beach from the location. It was very quiet and relaxing. This was the perfect place for our stay.

The property is renovated and is extremely clean. The location is walking distance to the waterfront and was a very comfortable place to stay. The owner was prompt to respond and very courteous. We plan to rent again. Thanks!!

This was a great place for us to stay. It was very clean, cozy and comfortable. It is nestled between the river and the bay - the location is perfect. We enjoyed relaxing on the screened in porch and our little dog LOVED the fenced in yard. The driveway fit our three cars easily and the home had everything we needed - the kitchen was well stocked (except for toaster or blender). Everything was in working order including the a/c, w/d, keurig machine, smart tv and sleep sofa. It was the perfect little get-away for our family that included 4 adults, 1 child and 1 pupper. Communication with the owner was top notch. Would definitely recommend and return.

This is our 3rd visit in the last year and will continue to be our “go to” in Colonial Beach! The upgrades in the home since our last visit look amazing! Heather is super responsive and accommodating! Can’t wait to go back!

We came down to Colonial Beach for bike fest and had a great time. The cottage was clean and met all out needs! Sunset at the bay was an excellent bonus!

It was an easy check in. We enjoyed our time at the cottage. My only negative is that when I put in how many people we had this was suggested. Was a bit cramped for 6 but would have been perfect for 5 or less. The hosts were amazing, very responsive. Would absolutely recommend this cottage and hosts to others.

Convenient location. Easy walk to Monroe Bay or Potomac River. Also easy access to hop on the free Trolley that takes you all over Colonial Beach. Will definitely come back!

Amazing clean cottage in a quiet fun little community!
We had a great time at this cottage. The owners are super nice and the home was very clean! We booked another weekend while we were still there! Can’t wait to go back!
