The hotel was beautiful, clean, convenient & affordable! The lobby staff were professional, polite & friendly. The room was immaculate & the bed comfy! I’ve already booked Tru for a December visit. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I left my pillow a very nice expensive pillow and a sentimental item there by accident and when I realized it. Try told me their housekeeping never found anything. And I told them the exact room and the exact location of the two items!

The staff are great! Shout out to Tea. She is amazing! She is so kind and so accommodating.

Bedding was a mattress pad/dust ruffle and a thin cover felt like a nylon curtain. Bathroom was clean and well appointed however. No frills hotel.

Sheets are not changed daily and changed every alternative day. The bathroom sink was clogged.

I don't like staying in a room where a dog had been staying in and the one next room beside me start barking but quickly was quiet down. That is my only bad regret about my stay.

This hotel surprised us! It was the most budget friendly hotel in Chapel Hill for our weekend trip. Everything was clean and looked really new. No issues at all. The hotel has a good free breakfast and lots of grab and go options if needed.

Have been this chain hotels for a few times. Good place to stay.

Newer hotel but Air conditioner in room was not great. Only a one night stay so we did not request a new room.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Poor water pressure in the bathroom faucet, very small room with no closet space, and no microwave either. Plus no swimming pool.

Was a very nice place to stay. Staff was friendly, helpful and took care of any thing we requested. Had a very minor issue the first night we arrived that was caused by us arriving a day early. They had space but charged us for the full stay that night and we had already paid for the previous reservation in advance. Fixed it immediately when the manager arrived the next morning and all was resolved. Will certainly consider staying again if ever back in the Chapel Hill area

Nice hotel. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Pillows were unsupportive. Lots of noise from the room above.

The property appears to be new. The front desk staff are great. Rooms are clean and modern. Water pressure sucks in the shower and sink. No coffee pot in the room. Not everyone wants to get completely dressed to go to the front desk to get coffee. Breakfast lady on Sunday had her gloves on but was touching her cellphone and other things and then dealing with the breakfast stuff without changing gloves.

Tru is a great little kept secret. I stay there every time I visit my daughter at school. I’d like to add - I do not like the price gouging from all the hotels in the Chapel Hill area during sporting events and graduation. I usually pay 140.00 per night, 250.00 per night for sporting events and now graduation is almost 500.00 a night. It’s not ethical (in my opinion).

Front desk staff was amazing!!!!

This hotel appears the be either newly completed or recently renovated, thus the property is nice and clean. I found the office staff to be cold and unhelpful. I only stayed 1 night and placed an unopened bottle of wine into the refrigerator. I left the next morning and soon realized that I had forgotten the unopened bottle. I immediately called the front desk, within 5 minutes of checking out, and spoke to the breakfast manager who assured me that she would retrieve the bottle and hold for my return later in the day. When I returned I was approached by the front desk clerk who was totally disinterested in looking. The only effort that was made was to call the morning staff and ask whether they knew anything about the retrieval. She never once looked for the item. She then said she spoke with breakfast manager who was not given anything from maid services. Failed service by all concerned.

This was a nice, basic spot to land - I was alone and felt safe at all times. It had just what I needed and was close to everywhere I needed to be. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Everything was good the only thing I can say is the room I had was very small for two people.
