1. this hotel is totally vegetarian.. 2. Spa is not functional 3. Gym was not functional 4. No jazzuzi & sauna 5. Out from city 6. Food is very expensive 7. No near by restaurant 8. Manager was arrogant..

Beautiful Property. It is a new property on Udaisagar lake. The location is not convenient as the nearby area is underdeveloped and access route is pretty bad. However if you want to experience nature and be away from the city this place is right. Well maintained area beautifully landscaped

The service was simply amazing. Every single staff was highly trained and were able to exceed our expectations. The property was very chic and super clean. The location was simply breathtaking. The highlight was the food ! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Zana !

Udaipur was called "Venice of East" once upon a time, and it is said, that it's the finest location in Rajasthan with picturesque landscape adorned by large lakes, surrounded by world's oldest Aravali Mountain Ranges. Hence, being our first trip to this place, we wanted to ensure the hotel to come with best possible view. While checking options over Google and Booking.com, we paid special attention to pictures of hotel with more emphasis on outdoor views. Zana Lake Resort had some pictures which were simply unbelievable. However, we took our chances and went ahead to book it for one day stay. It was a cold winter afternoon with sunshine and breezy air, when we arrived at the resort around 3 pm. We were welcomed by Hotel Staff from parking entrance, whereas they started telling us about facilities and amenities, however we were glued to lake and hills view facing the resort. I can't describe, how astonishing the scene it was. The majestic Udaisagar Lake with forests on one side, surrounded by wallpaper like mountains, and again mountain on back of the hotel itself. We instantly fell in love with this place. This hotel along with Raffles Udaipur Hotel, have best lake view in entire Udaipur. About the Zana Resort, it's a new property, barely 4 months old. Hence, entire Hotel was squeaky clean and shining. They used top class marbles inside out in their rooms. Big balcony in first floor, while garden terrace in ground floor. Welcome drink consist of mock tails, cock tails (vodka). The complimentary high tea was good as well , which we enjoyed in evening at Hotel terrace. You would just keep staring at the sceneries for hours, and would hardly feel the need to be inside your rooms. We took good amount of strolls during our stay to enjoy the weather with views. The best part : you can see sunrise from your bedroom through balcony. It was same as typical childhood drawings of sun coming out from mountains.

Only location is good.

The price was very high as per property . The food which served on 31st night was worst. The breakfast which served was also worst. The event which has organised by the property was also not as per we had expected. Overall experience was bad with me and my family. Charges for stay and event was very very very high.

Location and infrastructure is superb. Cafe staff is very cooperative and accommodating.

It is bit far from the city and the road infrastructure is not that good but the bypass construction is going on which may make it bit more easier to reach BUT if you want to enjoy in a cool and calm environment without much travel to city..this is very good place. 2nd thing may be you will find the food bit costly but the property is shown as 5 Star.
