Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay a few weeks ago at this resort. The pools were nice, it was close to the beach, the balconies were great and the two rooms we rented were set up nicely for our group. The photos online were exactly how the rooms looked in person, which is a huge plus. I do have to note however that the rooms were not cleanest, but we brought this up to the resort and accommodations were made promptly. Also one member of the staff around the pool and at the gate for some of the days we were there was also not very kind. I want to stress that this was NOT all of the staff, just the one person. We got in trouble for trying to use the shower by the pool to wash sand off our feet after dark and also were almost not allowed back in for not knowing the code even though we had our parking passes and bracelets on. This being said, we did have a great time and I also appreciated the text messages and emails prior to, during, and after our stay giving us the needed information for our rooms. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a vacation in this area. Side note - Shaggy's restaurant down the road in between Lucy's and The Reef was EXCELLENT!

Pros: Place was great! Plenty of room! Plenty of kitchen “stuff”! Great pool areas! Security was definitely very secure, let’s say. We even got yelled at for having a cart upstairs when we actually had stuff on it and were loading. Not saying that’s bad, good to keep order! Staff was so responsive and so nice. Tenants that live there were wonderful! Parking was literally the best ever system we have ever seen! Cons: condo wasn’t very clean. We have children with food allergies, there were crumbs and food on chairs and counters, kitchen floor wasn’t terribly clean. For us, this is dangerous. There were light globes in boxes, stuff off walls, curtains down. Nothing a huge deal really, just needed a refresh. Some Sheets were worn , needed replaced, but clean. Maybe they were getting ready to paint? Floor when wet is very very slippery.. I do not recommend this condo for older people or those with mobility issues for this reason. The last con (for us with kids), the complex sits across a very busy 4 lane from the sound. Not sure this was accurately portrayed. If frogger with kids seems fun… we often drove to a beach bc of this and the sound is inches deep there! But amazingly warm. Overall: would stay there again if we didn’t want an easy beach situation.
