Having previously lived in Melbourne I knew the area quite well but this is a fairly new hotel. The location is perfect it's a 2 minute walk to the tram stop and 10 mins on a tram into central Melbourne. The hotel itself is well done, simple reception and easy check in I didn't need anything more. The room itself was massive, I was actually shocked by the size. Big balcony, table and small lounge chairs and mini kitchenette. The bathroom was tiny but perfectly fine for a shower and doing make up. Nice decor and comfy bed have already recommended it to friends.

Not major issues but I could get the kitchenette light to turn off so I had to unscrew the bulbs. And house keeping was a bit hit and miss, one day it didn't come the next when it did they forgot to replace the bath towels (they took my used ones). I was in a rush to leave to the airport so I didn't ask for one and just used the hand towels.

Room, location and price were great

The bathroom could be a bit cleaner was a little mouldy and the dish washer was just a bit smelly after washing dishes. The staff were great but could be a little better in communication when we asked to check out abit later by 5 or ten mins they were very hostile and said we needed to be out exactly 10. The parking was a little complicated but very nice parking and well priced. The balcony could be cleaner.

The location, close to the Botanic Gardens, is great. There was also a nice view of the water from our room. We were lucky with free on street parking for the weekend and there is easy access to trams with a stop less than 50 metres away. Very convenient for getting around without a car.

The beds are comfy, but a little softer than I am used to. There is limited facilities on site and the hotel itself is a bit out of the way of shops and restaurants.

Space

Couldn’t get in for 20 mins when we arrived around 1.20 am because there was no-one at reception and booking.com gave us the wrong telephone number! Also, our access to WiFi was terminated in the early hours of the morning on the day of our departure.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and would definitely stay again. Always clean and comfortable, friendly staff and just a walk across the road to trams, coffee shop and mini supermarket.

Super easy to check in and check out, facilities were clean and well maintained. The hotel staff are excellent.

Only the price due to Taylor Swift which is completely understandable just expensive.

Reception desk staff service

Facilities design & setup. Not to mention relatively minor things, the lightings in the bathroom rely on sensors, which means the lights will be off few minutes if no activities were sensed. Therefore, each time I shower the lights will be out few minutes after because the shower cubicle is so small. And I have to walk out and waive my hand to make the lights back on. This is so frustrating and it also made the bathroom wet. I always wondered if someone unfortunately slipped due to this stupid design, will there be any compensation or just a regular "apology" may do?

Close to tram stop but not on a really busy street, so it felt more relaxed and quiet. Easy to check in and staff were friendly and helpful.

The price was high due to nearby events.

Staff weren’t very attentive or seemed like they wanted to make your stay memorable. I arrived around 10am and asked if it would be possible to check in earlier than 2pm and was told the room should be ready from around 1:30pm, I came back at about 1:15 and still had to wait until 2pm to check in. I was also put in a room right next to some young girls who were partying and had other people in their room until 11:30pm and I had to open my door and ask them to be quiet when they had left their door open. Some more signage about guests noise level after hours should be put up, nobody wants to pay $200-300 a night and not be able to get to sleep early if they need to

I liked the location and the view to Albert Part, which is a very different experience to what I have already had with other hotels. Also, I liked how quiete it was and I could not hear any cars running. The room was tidy and fresh, which is a bonus!

Probably a good idea would be if the hotel will have more room for storing the luggage before or after check-in as I was waiting for someone to get a space for my luggage.

The location of this hotel is 10/10. You can walk to Albert park, Tennis Centre and the city. There is a tram stop literally On the door step if you would rather ride than walk. The team were both friendly and professional. Their smiles are as big as the rooms.

Great location quite close to the botanical garden. CBD can be reached on foot within 25 min. Fancy boutique hotel. Comfy rooms. Friendly staff.

Room service missed restocking tea. Parking ticket machine was a bit picky when using the voucher (only worked once for me).

The location is fantastic! There is a tram stop on the doorstep of the hotel that takes you into town. It is also within walking distance of Albert Park Lake and the Tennis Centre. The size of the room was impressive! Having the dinning table and chairs was a great touch. It was great to be able to have a place to sit and eat comfortably rather than sitting on the edge of a bed!

We had a drunk guest and a guy from reception opened the door of our room at 1130pm, 2 large guys stood at the door when they saw us, they slam the door and proceeded to wait for the lift at the floor’s lobby, I had to open the door and say excuse me? The guy said I am from reception but was not in uniform.. that totally freaked us out and we had to sleep with chair to the door for our remaining nights .. so if you are a staff it doesn’t give you the right to just walk into our room like that , it’s a huge invasion of privacy… do you not do your due diligence and checked the room number of the guest your are trying to help? I question their procedures and professionalism… their initial response and follow up was poor, after checking with reception the next day he explained this is a common error in their hotel and totally normal (for a seasoned traveller this has never happened to us).. just a whole bunch of sorries and it was a mistake and just swept under the rug.

Das Personal war nicht gerade zuvorkommend oder hilfsbereit. Auf die Frage nach einem Topf für die Küche hieß es, dass nicht ausreichend Töpfe da wären. Das Zimmer wurde nur oberflächlich gereinigt, aber bei genauem Hinschauen hat man überall noch Flecken oder Krümel gesehen. Die Staubschicht auf dem Bettende hat man auch von Weitem gesehen. Küche war unzureichend ausgestattet.

We liked the kitchen and the available equipment. The view from the room was nice, the beds comfortable. The hotel was quiet and the closeness to a tram station was convenient. The art decor on the walls stood out nicely.

The reception area, especially the carpet seemed a bit unclean, and it was a real shame that the room next door (breakfast area, bar, restaurant?) appeared to be totally deserted and unused?

Very convenient location and beautiful hotel overall.

We booked this place for the views! I paid for a high rise room with water views, however, all we got was side views of St Kilda, plus the room looked much much smaller than the photos. We paid a lot of money for this so I was quite disappointed with that. However, it was beautifully furnished and everything was quite modern, which was aesthetically pleasing :)
