This is the second time I have stayed at this wonderful property. Stayed with my two miniature Dachshunds for a couple weeks. The entire house was again pristine. The backyard is fenced, spacious, and beautifully appointed. The patio is great for breakfast outside and enjoying quiet time for reading and soaking up sunshine. The light string arrangement is awesome at night. The neighborhood is very low key and safe - all families and very quiet with some nice walking routes available. Kitchen has all the necessities, all quite new as well as the new washer and dryer. The host was extremely helpful from booking through departure- always had a very prompt and helpful response for my questions. Cannot recommend this property highly enough!

This home was in a super good location of Wilmington. It had everything you could need and felt like you were staying at a family member’s home. We will definitely be using this home again when we return to Wilmington.

We had such a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and true to the pictures. This property was well stocked with everything you would need and had great appliances. The backyard was a great area. The fenced in yard was perfect for our pups. The yard was well lit, had ample seating, fire pit, and a charcoal grill. The house had plenty of space to be comfortable. I was able to work remotely for a few days with no issues or lag for video calls. The pocket door was an awesome surprise that helped us keep the spaces separated when needed. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, felt very safe, and was close to many stores and routes to get to the local attractions. If we ever come back to Wilmington, I will be sure to see if this house is available!

This wonderful home was perfect for a couple weeks away with just me and my two miniature Dachshunds. This was not a beach stay, but just a quest for some alone time. The neighborhood was great- very safe and quiet. Excellent for my dogs due to large fenced back yard and plenty of patio furniture for meals or just sitting quietly. Plenty of beautiful plants and the strung night lights made evenings on the patio a very pleasant experience. The kitchen was spotless and fully equipped. All furniture and living spaces were well maintained and quite comfortable. Beds were great. nice front porch with rockers. Property manager was always available, but only needed to contact regarding check in clarification and trash day - no problems with which I needed help. I highly recommend this property and intend to make a second reservation shortly.

We have loved Wrightsville Beach for years! We now have e-bikes and this place is perfect. Plenty of room, right next to Mayfair Center, the cross town trail is easy access and the beach is close! Bonus is the wonderful fenced in back yard with beautiful flowers & greenery. Can't wait to book again.

Stayed a few days while moving our daughter back to college. Home was very welcoming and clean. Beautiful back yard and owner really makes sure to think of everything you could need.

Property is clean and well maintained. Perfect location for beach, grocery store, shopping and eating out. Also well stocked kitchen for eating in. We will be staying here again when we return to the area

Our stay at the house was perfect! It was an extremely clean, well thought out, and welcoming place to stay. The house and yard/garden gave off a happy vibe, and everything we needed was at our fingertips. Our two dogs felt at home and enjoyed the fenced in back yard! I am pretty introverted, and I greatly appreciated that the host was super responsive when I had a need but unobtrusive when I didn’t. My daughter said that the house was at the top of her list of favorite things about our trip to Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach!

The house was wonderful. Plenty of room for people to spread out and a wonderful fenced backyard to boot. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Had a wonderful long weekend stay at Sweet Escape! House was very clean and in a safe neighborhood. Enjoyed the extra den space to spread out! Roasted marshmallows with the kids using the fire pit outside and our dogs enjoyed being able to hang out in the fenced in yard with us. Had two minor issues during our stay and the host responded immediately to our concerns and fixed both situations promptly. Excellent host communication! Would definitely book Sweet Escape again!

Loved the location, the back patio/grill, super clean and well stocked. We’ve been renting in Wrightsville/Wilmington for over 20 years. This is by far the best set up (thoughtful supplies from the host throughout).

This house was very clean and communicating with the owners was quick and easy. They always responded within 5 minutes. The garden in the back was amazing for a rental home. And the fenced in backyard was awesome for my dogs.

My experience with this property and the owner could not have been better. Check in/ check out process was smooth, the house is clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The owner put out so many little things to make the stay perfect. My kids appreciated the snacks sitting there after our 12 hour drive! And so many things were anticipated. What an amazing host. Games, coffee, extra blankets and towels, items for a dog if needed, magazines about the area, etc. And just as an illustration, i forgot to bring kid shampoo/ body wash for my toddler. But the bathroom cabinet had several "just-in-case" items. Thank you! The house was also plenty spacious enough for my family of 5 during our stay. Beautiful flowers outside and i love that the yard is fenced in. Excellent, convenient, yet quiet enough location. We all enjoyed the artwork throughout the house as well. What a lovely vacation we had, and this place to stay was the icing on the cake! 10/10 would recommend :)

The home was very comfortable, quiet, peaceful and it felt like home. The backyard was nice to sit and relax. We loved how close the malls, grocery store, restaurants and the beaches was to the residence. Will definitely book again!!!!!

Great property, the host thought of everything you could possibly need. It is not the most modern in decor but it is charming and very CLEAN, I am definitely looking forward to staying again.

This was by far the best stay we have ever been at. The location was just right wether going to the beach, downtown, or Mayfare. The home was equpt with more than we needed. It had thoughtful touches throughout. Loved it and would go back again. Pj

This was probably the best home I’ve ever rented! Very clean, fully stocked with necessities and then some! Fenced in backyard for the dogs, fire pit for evening relaxing, 2 separate dens for relaxing and even more! I’d definitely rent again when in the Wilmington area!!! The host is amazing and so accommodating to my requests for early checkin and allowed a later checkout since no one else was coming in that day. Wonderful weekend!!!

The home was very well equipped, comfortable and a perfect location to our family wedding festivities around Wrightsville. And it was perfect for our pup! The owner obviously made the home pet-friendly, and the fenced-in back yard was great for our dog. I must add the landscaping was beautiful in the backyard and a relaxing place to sit on the patio, enjoying the outdoors. Would definitely recommend the home, and would consider staying again if we’re in the area.

The house was great and its location is ideal for access to Mayfair and Wrightsville Beach. The fenced yard worked well for our dogs. The beds were very comfortable as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Cleanliness is important to us. Although an older home, it is very clean and had an abundance of amenities. Did not need to buy extra trash bags, paper towels, laundry soap, etc. Also well stocked with spices and other cooking necessities. Very sweet that a snack basket and doggie treats greeted us. Loved the layout (2 separate living rooms). Nice laundry room with half bath and fenced in back yard was perfect for our pups. So close to Mayfaire shopping, restaurants and beach. We have rented at beach before and it's just too expensive. We were just as happy here for a fraction of the cost. Wendy is an amazing contact point! Prompt, sweet and takes care of her guests. We definitely will rent this home again.
