Unfortunately we had a negative and noisy experience. Our room was a ground floor room with the AC facing towards the adjacent property which is a bowling hall and concert venue. Until past 11pm we heard loud music and cars. At 1:10AM we were woken up by a group of loud people walking by our door. The guests above us woke us up at 5am with walking and we were not able to get back to sleep. Ceilings are wood and we heard every single step. Because of all of this we hardly got any sleep. Matresses were extremely soft and when we arrived the toilet in the bathroom was not flushed. Not related but generally the furniture was outdated and lived in. The positive reviews online made us book this accomodation. Front desk staff was friendly but didn’t offer anything. We really wanted to like this place but our experience unfortunately will not make us come back.

We were just passing through and only stayed one night but we enjoyed our stay. The grounds were very nice and the view from the pool was spectacular. Our room was spacious, very clean and very quiet. We were within walking distance to the downtown area and restaurants. They served complimentary coffee and tea in the morning in the lobby. It was interesting learning about the history of the hotel.

I have been to lake placid many times but have never stayed here. I will be coming back here from now on. It is such a great location and everything was so lovely and convenient.

Spacious and comfortable rooms and close to many Olympic sights.

Stephanie at front desk was great telling us about the local area and Art devlin history while we ate breakfast. Location was great for walking to main st restaurants and shops. Our room was very big and bathroom spacious. Tables outside room were nice for having an evening glass of wine. Nice to be able to grab quick continental breakfast in the morning.

We got a room on the second floor with mountain view and a balcony, and it was gorgeous! The room had vaulted ceilings and an Adirondack vibe to it. Everything was very clean and in working order. The only thing I didn’t love is how small the showers are. I’m 5’8” and my husband is 6’3”, and we both had to hunch over to shower. Otherwise everything was perfect!
