The cabin itself was beautiful, but it wasn't handicap accessible for anything. My mom had a terrible time trying to get up the steps and wasn't able to take a shower. We actually left a day early because it was so hard for her. Also, the road to the location was horrible. We about got stuck multiple times coming up.

We really enjoyed our stay.! The cabin was beautiful and the view from the screened in porch of the mountains was beautiful too. Unfortunately we could not get any of the showers to work and could only take baths. Also make sure you drive a vehicle that does well “off road” as there is quite a rocky trail to the cabin. Short driving distance to Helen and surrounding areas. Hope to visit again in the future

The cabin was peaceful, but the lack of attention to the porch left a bad taste. The deck was “covered” in yellow pollen. It looks like for a very very long time. There was goo under the grill. The patio table & chairs were covered in yellow pollen. I had to clean the porch to even partially enjoy it. It’s a shame because the outdoor spaces have so much potential and they are missing the mark. No seating at all on the front porch. No seating for the fire pit anywhere available. I guess people just stand there or sit on the dirt? When we opened the windows to enjoy the fresh mountain air the window sills were full of dead bugs, leaves, spider webs and all types of debris that would have flown in with the wind so we didn’t get to enjoy that either. The quality of the products was as low as you can get. Think single ply TP and the cheapest paper towels on the market. If you’re used to finer products bring your own. Also, I’ve never seen such bare necessaries in a rental property. VERY basic. I’ve rented a lot of Vrbo properties her and in Europe and this was just missing any sort of special touch. The view, nature sounds and hot tub all get 5 stars. Personally I wanted to enjoy the outdoor spaces but the lack of comfort and cleanliness severely limited that part of my expectations. If that could be rectified I would rent this property again.

We had an amazing weekend at Eagles Nest. Even before our trip began, GA Mountain Rentals called to make sure we had received the information necessary to get till to the cabin and ask if we had any questions. We did have one small issue with the hot tub that we called the after hours line for but we were immediately able to call them back to let them know that we had resolved the issue ourselves. Someone showed up at our door the next morning with a bottle of wine to thank us for saving them the trip the night before. This company knows about customer service! The cabin was clean and awesome as well. Highly recommend!

My friends and I were not aware of the roads we needed to travel to get to the cabin. It was very challenging. It would have been very appreciative to find some coffee as a welcoming amenity. The cabin was very nice.

A wonderful cabin. It is well kept and clean. Well equipped kitchen. Could use additional kitchen towels and dish soap. Great for the four adults and two children in our visit. Enjoyed grilling while looking at view. Hot tub was clean and enjoyed.

CABIN WAS VERY SPACIOUS, CLEAN EXCEPT FOR THE JACUZZI DID NOT LOOK LIKE IT HAD BEEN CLEANED IN A WHILE. HAD MOLD ON THE CHEMICAL FLOATER. KITCHEN WAS VERY WELL EQUIPPED. WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. LOVED THE VEIW FROM THE BACKYARD. A GREAT CABIN, WOULD STAY IN THIS AGAIN.

We always enjoy going to the mountains to spend time with family and friends hiking and visiting wineries. Our favorite part is sitting and talking and enjoying the Mountain View. There was not a Mountain View at this location. It was obscured by the the overgrowth of trees. That was very unfortunate because from the upstairs bedroom, you could see the view we were missing.

Very nice house with a cabin feel inside. Clean and comfortable. The internet is shaky, but were able to stream through my sons phone when it wasn’t working. It has a large screened in porch with a hot tub which was enjoyable. The trees do need to be topped to be able to take in the beautiful view they have. Overall is was a good place to stay and close to Helen.

This cabin is exactly as it appears in the photos. High quality furniture, bedding, and workmanship. Attention to detail in the decor with cute bears and such on lamps, quilts, etc. and hangers in the closets, extra blankets, books, DVD players with movies, plenty of dishes and cookware.... even plastic mugs to use in the hottub. The only thing I would suggest is to cut the trees back some outside the screened in porch. Would be nice to be able to see the mountains the the summer as well as the winter. Loved our stay!

I really wanted to give this rental a 5-Star review; however, the anticipated spectacular view was totally blocked by multiple overgrown trees, You can only see a partial view from the top bedroom.... such a shame!
There are multiple "steep, unpaved gravel roads" leading up to this cabin, better suited for a 4 Wheel drive. If you have a compact cars, be careful since you're tiers will be doing a lot of work.
Also - and this is minor - considering this cabin was Eagles Nest Landing - the Cabin Theme was merely of Bears & there was only 1 photo of an Eagle
I would like to thank the Property Management team who did an excellent job corresponding all the necessary information via phone & email. Keep up the good work!

Our stay was wonderful. Beautiful, beautiful. I loved the views. The drive up there was a little rough. Long dirt road but other than that it was wonderful. I really enjoyed myself and so did my friends.

Very peaceful and relaxing. Close to Helen and attractions in the area. Great setting for a hot tub.. Drive slowly, enjoy the beautiful views and follow the Rental Agencies driving directions.

After driving a couple miles down dirt rd. (passing a little waterfall along the way), we arrived at our little slice of paradise. Would suggest just a few things to make the stay even more enjoyable for future guest...add some flood lights to back of house for better security and lighting, put up some window treatments/blinds to bedroom windows/doors, add an ottoman or recliners to living room to up the level of comfort, and kitchen could be a little better stocked. Hot tub was a nice relaxing plus with beautiful views. Was nice having separate baths for all the bedrooms (which all had comfy beds). Close proximity to Helen and Anna Ruby Falls. Rental company has great communication and ensures your satisfied with your stay! Would stay again!

Great location! Beautiful Mountain View’s from large screened in porch.
Plenty of space in cabin, great for couples because of 3 large bedrooms and 3 large bathrooms. Large open living room, dining room and kitchen.
The only negative I can say is that the drive up to the cabin is steep, dark and is mostly dirt road. Make sure you have what you need because there really isn’t anywhere that we found to “run quick and grab” food, snacks or anything you may have forgotten.
Convenient drive to Helen (less than 15 minutes) and Dahlonega (about 30 minutes but worth the ride!) multiple vineyards and wineries near by, Yonah Mountain was perfect spot!

Our group really enjoyed our stay. Loved the sunrises and cozy cabin - far away from the craziness but close enough to get into whatever we wanted to do. It is way up the mountain with some awesome views.

We stayed in this Cabin for 3 nights in October for Octoberfest in Helen. The cabin was just as described, beautiful, clean, and generally well-maintained. For us, with 2 young children, it was nice to be able to get away from the crowds and activities in town. The roads to the property are dirt/gravel but I was able to navigate them in a Nissan Altima (2-WD) but it was bumpy ;-)Cons:I will say that the view would be greatly improved on the back with some of the growth trimmed. Small bushes and trees have grown so the view is obstructed. Also, the upstairs and second beds were very firm. There were some cheap appliances (the coffee maker was awful). And outdated fixtures were mentioned in other reviews but they didn't bother us much. The TV in the living room had a Roku connected which was great. The other bedrooms had cable boxes, which was also fine. But the TV upstairs should be replaced. It is tiny and old. AND the internet speed is terrible so do not plan on doing any work or uploading any photos on it; we literally disconnected because our phones were faster.There were several notices to make sure to not put trash outside and to call the office. When I did they said to just keep it inside until there were more than 2 bags. This wasn't a problem for us but I can imagine it could be if you had thrown away any food.

I stayed here with my 6 young adult children (19, 21, 23, 24, 24, & 26). We had a terrific time enjoying the great view from the back porch while relaxing at table & hot tub. We do our own raft trips on the Chattahoochee & enjoy visiting Helen. We do this every summer & this back porch truly seals the deal for this location.

Such a relaxing oasis. The view is incredible, the layout is perfect and the amenities are more than sufficient. Love the screened in deck with hot tub, which was great for relaxing after a full day.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very isolated but close enough to Helen. Cabin was spacious and clean with large bedrooms and great beds. Hot tub was very nice! Saw many turkey and deer around property. Awesome stay!

The property was beautiful! It rained while we were there and Road to get there wasn’t ideal but we live on narrow dirt roads so we were used to them. The view from the porch and upstairs bedroom was amazing! Will book again!

My family and I loved our stay in Helen!! The home was beautiful and was very well stocked. I did see some reviews complaining about the cleanliness of the hot tub but it was clear to us that it is clean and probably has a few small stains from the well water. We will absolutely being staying here again in the future!!! Thank you for having us!!!
