Great little place! We walked in and immediately felt at home with the added bonus of a great view. The home had everything that we needed and my husbands only complaint was how I kept saying I wanted to live there :D Some personal taste things to mention are there are alot of stairs down to the water that can be slippery when wet, the shower is small and awkward to get into if you're bigger and the bed is pretty firm. None of these things were issues for us but noteworthy for some. In summary I am VERY happy we stayed here and will definitely look to book here again when I'm next in the area. I already miss the sound of waves lapping...

Our family stayed here and enjoyed the fishing off the dock and the great views! Perfect spot to get away, would recommend!

This house on the lake was quiet, cozy, comfortable and clean. Mike was a good, accommodating, responsive host. If you stay when the nights are in the 40s then you should only need to use the downstairs heater. Our first night we used the living room heater as well and it got too hot. The next 2 nights we were all comfortable with just the downstairs heater. We would stay here again! Gorgeous sunsets and easy to get to lots of wonderful destinations in the Finger Lakes.

Waterfront cozy cottage with all you need to unwind and relax for a few days! Location is great: not only the view on the lake from the bedroom or the living room but close to key attractions in the area like hiking in forest parks, gorges with awesome waterfalls and cascades, wineries to taste local wines and u picks (apples and pumpkins at fall). Mike, the owner, was very helpful for any questions we had in relation to the house. In a nutshell, great stay! To rebook in the future!

The only real negative i can think of would be ,IF you are traveling with someone with limited walking capabilities , the steps are a little steep. But that is what you get that close to lake. WE WILL STAY AGAIN

Celebrated 32 years of marriage. First time in the Finger Lakes region and we could not have been happier with this stay. Location, Location, Location!!! And what a beautiful home.

Really enjoyed our stay. There was a few more stairs than I would have liked but several landings helped. Originally, didn"t like the thought of the bathroom on a different level from main bedroom but it wasn't a problem. (Growing old is no fun). Overall a 5 out of 5.

Perfect place for a couple. Small building had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. The private pier was wonderful on sunny days and there is much to do around the lake on rainy days (must see Watkins Glen state park). Corning museum and the racetrack were wonderful as well as all the wineries. Recommend bringing extra outdoor chairs to enjoy the sunset on the pier. This is a good place for kayaks or your own boat (pier has boat lift). Had some issues with internet service but owner was responsive. Would stay again if traveling to the area.

We loved our stay here!!! We brought our boat so having access to the boat lift was an awesome advantage! Beautiful sunsets! Great view of the lake from the house and even the bedroom! We will definitely be back!

It was a great little place to get away for a couple of days! I do wish the pictures where updates to today's date, there where a couple things I thought we had and didn't. Other than that the place has everything we needed, the neighborhoods where quite, and lake was calm and clean!

The view is wonderful. Bathroom a little small but adequate. The bedroom is downstairs and the bathroom is upstairs, may want to consider this if you have any ambulatory issues. Also has a set of steps to enter the property. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

Great little house! Awesome. Dock. It does need a ladder. To make getting in and out of water easier we're in our '50s and it would have been nice.

Great spot right on the lake!

The cottage was perfect size for what we needed. It had a nice, walk-out deck to the lake and it was quiet and peaceful despite having neighbors on both sides. Just a reminder that you'll have stairs to walk down to the main door, the bed room is downstairs with upstairs bathroom and there is no oven. I was so focused on the lake property that I didn't pay attention to those details. Only complaints to give it 4/5 stars were the bed mattress was not very supportive and was uncomfortable and would have been nice to have some better outside chairs. Overall, I would recommend this cottage to friends/family.

Very nicely remodeled on the inside and very comfortable. Great location if you have a boat it less than five minutes from Sampson State park which has a nice boat launch. The dock is great and the lift worked perfect for my 18 foot boat.

This home is tucked away right on the lake. It was perfect for my friend and I to visit. It is a convenient location for visiting the surrounding areas! Will highly reconsider booking this property again!

Very nice cute small cottage right on the water. Clean, stocked with basics you may need. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed beautiful sunsets, crispy mornings and sound of crashing waves.

We just returned from spending 3 nights here. I booked for a wk. this summer, so excited. Next trip, we will bring 2 camp chairs , which will be good for sitting on the dock & fire pit. Amazing sunsets from the private dock. Clean, cozy house. Stall shower bathroom. Bed was comfortable, with a view of the lake !

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage because it was clean, had everything in the kitchen and of course that view. We swam and enjoyed beers on the dock. Would have loved a ladder but we managed. We would stay here again.

Good spot right on the lake. It’s a bit cozy, but laid out well. Great views, waterfront, close to local wineries. Amenities worked as stated. Would stay again

The property was perfect for our mid-week getaway. We enjoyed taking in the views and caught a beautiful sunset our first night. The lake water was refreshing and we ended up spending quite a bit of time swimming and floating in it. The property is a short drive to the wineries and Geneva which made venturing out easy and convenient.

We were pleasantly surprised ay how well cared for the property was. The house was very clean, smelled great! I have sensitivities to many cleaners, etc and no problem here. Great to wake up in the morning to see the lake from our bed. Everything was as stated and we were very happy. The only problem, which had nothing to do with the renters was the Algae Bloom in full force when we were there so at times there was a foul smell outdoors right near the shore...this also impeded our ability to swim safely, but again, that was not the property's fault. However, it would have been good to get a heads up on the situation with the algae bloom. Also, the ladder off the dock is still broken so if we had felt comfortable swimming that would have been helpful. We would definitely return to this property again. We had a wonderfully relaxing time.

We loved our time in the finger lakes. The property was overall perfect for what we wanted. Sat right on the lake with a dock to enjoy the view. The house had everything we needed as we weren’t planning to spend a ton of time. Perfect for a couple but anymore would be crowded. The deck could use a little cleaning, the air conditioning in the bedroom could use an upgrade with a thermostat and the cabinets were a little worse for wear. But overall perfect lake front house for two!

Great location with proximity to Geneva and wineries. Cozy house literally steps from the lake. Updated and modern interior made for a very comfortable stay

We were here last year same time of year. We truly enjoyed the location and being directly on the lake. We plan on going again. House was perfect.

This property is as advertised, it is a wonderful little place with a fantastic view. We will absolutely be back! Great amenities provided too!
