We live in Tennessee, one child and his family live a couple states away, the other, and her family, lives in Africa. We all met in Barcelona. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry and, icing on the cake, roof top area for eating and drinking. Almost everything we wanted to see/do is in walking distance. Plenty of grocery stores, tapas bars, vermouth bars, museums, and even a Popeyes.. Just blocks from the Hop On Hop Off busline and city busses as well. Worked wonderfully for a group with multiple interests and tastes. Very fancy neighborhood.

The townhouse is nice; it is big with lots of stairs and many floors We did have issues with the sound system, showers and small ants all over the house. The owners were very responsive and tried to help as much as possible. The house is old and clean. The location is very close to transportation, Las Rambla and many restaurants. Check in went well and the welcome packet was very helpful.

We travelled to Barcelona after a long weekend stay in Tenerife. We couldn’t have had a better experience. The townhome is centrally located and we were able to easily submerse ourselves in the local culture. Although the home is built up and has multiple levels, it worked great for 2 siblings, their spouses, and parents. We 💗 Barcelona!!!

Our stay at the Townhouse was outstanding!!! The accommodations, the location, and area were perfect. It is close to everything from the Sacra Familia to high end shopping, the beach, and more. The neighborhood is so beautiful that people stop to take pictures of the entrance. Thank you Ewe for a wonderful holiday in your beautiful VRBO and for arranging transfers to and from the airport.

The townhouse was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. It was as advertised; being nicely appointed, spacious, and having all of the amenities needed for a long stay. The location on a quiet/landscaped alley also added to the charm, as it provided a serene getaway for our family. The location itself was ideal, as many famous sites of Barcelona were within walking distance and/or major public transit options are also easily accessible. Restaurants, shops, markets, etc were also plentiful, diverse, and convenient. We had a wonderful trip to Barcelona, and this townhouse/location absolutely added to that outcome. Would definitely recommend!

We were 7 and the space was great! Host was amazing with communicating and help! Location is perfect. We only wish we had more time in Barcelona to actually enjoy the home. Rooftop terraces are so quaint. Not for anyone who can’t do stairs…there are a lot 😉

Super nice place with lots of room and bathrooms and a lot of stairs! Owners were great to work with, very helpful, and responded promptly to pre-trip questions. Walkable to everywhere and very close to a parking garage since we needed to rent a car to go to areas outside of city. Close to public transit too so you don’t need a car. Although we didn’t cook while there - the kitchen is on the lower level with three of the bedrooms and the den and dining room is on the main level. Loved it anyways and would go back in a heart beat.

We were a party of 6 (3+70 and 3 +40) There was plenty of room, bedrooms on 3 levels, if members of your group are challenged by stairs it might not be as accessible as other properties. We enjoyed all the spaces, having wine and apps on the rooftop, morning coffee in the garden level and walking to many of the Cafes and sites. Ewa and Pau were very helpful with transportation and suggestions, it was delightful. B C

The townhouse is just as pictured/described. We were 9 travelers, 6 adults and 3 kids ages 8-14. It was a great property for us. The main living room is a great space to be all together to chat or stream movies/TV on the screen. The location is fantastic, and we would not hesitate to rent this property again. That said, 2 of the bathrooms may not be appropriate for older folks or someone with mobility issues. Pau and Ewa are very friendly! The townhouse makes for a great vacation!

Great townhouse located in the Gothic Quarter. Beautiful accommodations, lots of space -perfect for a family or group. We loved all the amenities and proximity to many attractions during our stay.

We had plenty of room for our two families, each with two teenagers traveling. Plenty of space, plenty of bathrooms, great communication with host. Location was amazing!

If you like an authentic well kept, beautiful and spacious Barcelona home on a perfect spot, this is what you are looking for. My family (6 of which 4 kids ages 17 to 23) spent almost a week in this wonderful house. In corona time the huge screen for watching Netflix in the evening was a treat. We had sunsets on the the terrace, played games in the dining room and slept well on the comfortable beds. We will come again when we visit Barcelona.

Our family of 6 was so happy with the house the location was great. We could walk to many of the sites. Tell made us a lovely breakfast each morning.

This home is located in a great neighborhood on a lovely, private street. It includes very light housekeeping (not real cleaning, but a bit of straightening up) and descent breakfast provided by Tel who was absolutely charming. The home is oddly designed with 3 bedrooms and the kitchen located down one flight of a very small staircase. The very large living room is on the main level above the bedrooms, and a fourth bedroom is above the living space. The playroom and laundry is found below the bedrooms and can only be accessed via the outside front garden, which is inconvenient especially if it is raining. The roof deck is three levels above the bedrooms, four above playroom. Each person was allotted only one bath towel and one hand towel which we found to be very “tacky”. The washer was easily operated, but the dryer took at least two hours to dry the towels which was most inconvenient. We found the home to be very “stuffy” and dark since most rooms had no windows that let in natural light and the living room had machines that blew air, but not cold or fresh air. The “yellow” bedroom (the master) has a HUGE jacuzzi tub/shower that is difficult (bordering on dangerous) to enter and exit. The hot water was problematic in all bathrooms. It took forever and was difficult to control once you had it. Beds were comfortable, pillows ok..... The keys and locks were very difficult to manage and in the case of a fire we would never have gotten out of the house! I expected something in better condition and was disappointed with the home, although my family was happy and that was what mattered most.

This house was wonderful! The location is perfect! You can walk to many many sites and places! Great restaurants are outside the gates. We had 2 families which included 4 adults and 3 18 year old girls and there was so much space for everyone. The breakfast was delicious everyday. She was patient with the girls that often overslept their own requested breakfast time. The lady that fixed breakfast and cleaned was awesome and always gave us tourist ideas and instructions. The beds were comfortable the decor is beautiful. One of the master bedrooms had a issue with ants one day and they came and sprayed right away. The keys and locks are a fun adventure thru the past it was a running joke on who had the touch to get the gates and doors to open. I would stay here again and again!! The house was charming, located on a quiet private street that is still close to the center of everything in Barcelona. The owners and housekeepers were gracious and helpful - and a delicious hot breakfast every morning was a particular bonus! Spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, was also a plus, and the rooftop terrace was pleasant, even on a cool November evening. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Barcelona.
