We had three generations stay at this wonderful cabin on the river for our son's graduation. All ages from 72 to 18 enjoyed the home and property. It is comfortable and very well equipped for everything you could need. This was our second stay here and we do hope to come back someday. Theresa is a great host! Thank you.

Great property. Love the renovations! The bathrooms especially. The upstairs was my favorite part of the house. The light up there is just amazing. I felt like I was in a movie. Would definitely stay again.

Our son just moved to Laramie and we wanted to visit him and get a little fishing in. We could not have found a better cabin located on the Laramie River. Teresa, the host, contacted me several times several days before we arrived to see if we had any special interest of needs to get the most out of our rental time. The cabin was beautiful with Rocky Mountain outdoor decor. The bottom floor gave us access with a clear shot to the river. We were able to park our truck at the front entrance, which led to the middle floor where the main living kitchen area is. In addition, the top floor accommodates many more guest. Although it snowed unexpectedly in May, our TV reception was brilliant and we had no problem with the internet. We were unable to find the propane bottle for the grill outside, but on contacting Teresa, it was delivered all most immediately by the man next door. Teresa provided extra food and spices in the kitchen, for those hard to remember items. I highly recommend this destination for anyone wanting to stay near the Laramie River or looking for a place to gather and relax with their family.

Worked great for what was needed for a guys trip snowmobiling.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and exactly as shown in the listing. The entire cabin was stocked with everything you could need. Teresa was wonderful to communicate with and very helpful prior to and during our stay. We will most definitely be coming back!

Gem in Jelm. I wish I was still there. That says it all. Exceeded my expectations in every way. Clean, well stocked with everything you need big screen smart TVs. New stainless steel appliances. So many extras. Loved it so much.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very spacious and had a beautiful view of the river. It was in the 90s while we were visiting so it did get a little warm in the cabin. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to vacation with the family!

The cabin was perfect for our family. Had lots of space. The kids loved the basement. The internet worked great. The location was close to fishing and close to Laramie. This cabin had everything in the kitchen as well. Great place!

This place is fantastic, and the hosts did an excellent job! One of the most beautiful places in the US and close enough to two significant towns yet far enough away to enjoy the fantastic outdoors! We will be going back and highly recommend you check it out!

Great place to stay

I have been renting properties on VRBO for over 20 years. This property has the best appointed kitchen of any place we have ever rented! It is a very nice cabin with everything you could possible need. Great layout, great beds and pillows, plenty of linens, good appliances, great location, and easy to find. I only live 25 miles from this cabin but will definitely rent it again!

Our family (total 18), did our winter Holiday here. So we rented multiple locations. This cabin is squeaky clean with a well equipped kitchen, good quality beds and well designed common use areas for family time. Being closely located to the Wood Landing Resturant, the first night we gathered there and had great service and food. Danced the night away, played pool and enjoyed the local flavor. We rented snowmobiles from Albany Lodge (dress warm and use a guide). We had snow most nights, but the temp in the cabin kept us all toasty. The drive into Laramie is relatively short, to get any supplies, do some fun local shopping and/or eat at multiple local restaurants. Communication with the owner was flawless and they were very familiar with the area could make recommendations and answer most of my questions.

Such a great cabin! Great location and close drive to town! Cabin was clean, well kept, and has everything you would need! Very nice owners and able to communicated easily if needed. We plan to return to this cabin for our next trip to Wyoming. Definitely recommend!

This was a perfect spot to stay while we got the kids checked in to WyoTech. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space and views were awesome! We will definitely look at staying again if we come back up.

House is in great location for exploring the Snowy Range. Located on the bank of the river, the home provided opportunity for catching trout right out the back door. Well appointed and had all the conveniences of home.

My three brothers and our sons stayed. This cabin has new owners who have already made many upgrades and are very helpful if any issues would arise. All of the amenities were great and exactly as described. It is a beautiful, clean cabin in a beautiful location and we'd be glad to stay there again in the future.

There was a snow storm the night before we got there and Robert called and checked with us when we were getting there and the roads. He had already cleared the road to the cabin for us. Reds Retreat was relaxing and just what our family needed!! Cabin space was awesome, there was 8 of us and we never felt cramped or on top of each other. The views were awesome!! And easy drive to Snowy Range. Would highly recommend to anyone !!!

Great cabin to get away with the kiddos to just unplug. The kitchen table was perfect for gaming with the family. The views were very relaxing.

This was our second stay at Red's Retreat. I think it gets better each time! The cabin was very clean and well kept. We skied at Snowy Range and the drive was one of the things we love the most. We saw, deer, moose, mustangs, and the beautiful sunrise and sunsets. The Communication throughout our say was fantastic! We look forward to coming back again soon!

Red's Retreat is just as described. Beautiful location. Relaxing stay. Robert is an attentive host.

We love this property and have stayed here multiple times. The location is perfect. There is plenty of space and lots of things to do from your favorite book and a cup of coffee to fly fishing directly in front of the house to cooking together in the well equipped kitchen to star gazing at night. We enjoy riding UTV’s on the trails and leaving directly from the house! We also enjoy having the Woods Landing bar/restaurant just short distance away! This was our 3rd trip there and are looking forward to our next one!

The property was nice and the owner communicated well in the being. Just beware of the hidden fees and lack of communication after your stay.

Beautiful area, cabin is as described

We stayed at Red’s Retreat while preparing for and celebrating our son’s wedding. We could have chosen a more convenient location to make our stay, but I’m glad we didn’t. The restfulness of the property and long views up and down the Laramie River provide a nice respite from the busyness of the many wedding to-dos for ourselves and other family members. The cabin is comfortable, well detailed and obviously a labor of love for the owner and his family.

We really enjoyed the home, Robert was very easy to work with and I believe he did his best to make sure we had a good experience. The home was as described, no surprises. When we return we will come later in the summer, as the mosquitos were truly awful and made it essentially impossible to enjoy the property outside. This was a major bummer but it is what it is. We escaped to the higher country and it was much better. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great place to relax, enjoy the quiet and enjoy time with family. River flows near the cabin and the house has a great deck to enjoy the view. Very close proximity to Medicine Bow National Forest.

Cabin was great for our group of 6. Big kitchen and living area to hang out in and 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. If you bring a trailer, the parking can be tight if your not comfortable backing a trailer in. Pellet stove in the basement was great to dry gear out at night. Thanks!
