We were so pleased to find this little gem of a cottage at short notice. It’s in a beautiful area, has a lovely garden and the view is fantastic. The house itself has everything you would need. The nearest supermarket is a Lidl around 15 mins away. There is a village shop but that’s closed and looks like it has been for some time. We would love to come again!

Beautiful cottage the kitchen has a step up to the preparation area it is a big step and it’s the same lovely flooring all over but it’s sometimes hard to see the step my husband fell of it (no alcohol involved) and I have eye problems maybe a strip of colour on the top one would sort it out,and I think it would be useful to mention that there are a lot of steps in the property.

Superb location for views and walks. Cottage was clean and had everything you needed. Beds were so comfortable.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage, just everything that you could want was included. Especially enjoyed our breakfast and evening class of wine sat on elevated decking. Played Crib and cards there most nights. Getting to the property a bit tricky, need good clutch and brake control. However didn't bother me. Just fabulous.

Bank cottage has everything you need for a holiday home. It's spacious, extremely well equipped and has views to die for from the stunning raised deck. Only had 2 nights here but we were very sad to leave.

The best view we have ever had from a holiday let. The property was great for us. We knew the area well and would choose to return to Bank Cottage again. With the family we would wait until the grandchildren are school age plus and if the weather was good we would bring the dog next time. Information inside the cottage was clear and useful.

My mum (70) and I (37), plus my dog, had a wonderful stay at Bank Cottage over the Coronation weekend. We'd planned to do some walking around the Wye Valley. We did a lovely 10km hike around the woods above the cottage, parking at Whitestone car park rather than scrambling up the hill, and another circuit from the cottage to Redbrook via the OD path and back along the Wye Valley Trail - both of which we'd thoroughly recommend. The footbridge at Tintern is closed so we couldn't walk along the OD Path downriver, so made do with a lovely meal at Abbey Mill Coffee House in Tintern. Symonds Yat is a lovely trip for an afternoon out too. The instructions Jean provided to the cottage were helpful but we hadn't appreciated how narrow or steep the local lanes are! Take your slippers as the cottage has stone flooring and lots of steps both inside and out! We did our food shopping on our way to Llandogo, but forgot a couple of bits so had to pop into the shops in Tintern/Redbrook to pick up what we needed as the village shop is still shut. We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Sloop Inn (they recommend phoning to book or contacting them via FB as their website is unreliable), although we didn't fancy the scramble back up to the cottage so took the car down and used their car park. The cottage has everything we could have possibly wanted/needed and more. When we weren't out hiking, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of something fizzy whilst the dog charged around the garden.

Lovely property with rustic charm and wonderful views. Excellent base for local walks and exploring the wider area. Recommended.

If you're looking for somewhere to stay, look no further and book Bank Cottage now! Truly a wonderful property with everything you could need for a relaxing time away. Stunning and large garden, incredible views, and lots to do within walking range. As a Canadian in Wales, I definitely felt at home with all the usual amenities, and even found an adapter when I stupidly forgot mine! Jean is a wonderful host.

Our family enjoyed our stay in Llandogo. The cottage was lovely, we enjoyed the open fire and wine :) The views are amazing - the kids loved going out to the deck and eating their breakfast while overlooking the valley. Thankyou.

The cottage was very cozy and comfortable. There were walks right outside the door and we enjoyed walking to the local pub. Come with provisions as there is currently no grocer in town. Communication with the owner was very easy. Would stay again.

It's a lovely location with amazing views. Bank Cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break. Cleddon Falls are a beautiful walk away. We enjoyed our walk to the Sloop Inn which took about 10 mins downhill and takes a little longer to walk back up! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Stunning views, very comfortable. The directions were a great help and the cottage was easy to find. The road to the cottage is very narrow, so I do recommend arriving whilst it is still light - it helps a great deal. We didn't explore anywhere, just enjoyed a relaxing break with the dogs, who were very well catered for! We loved it so much, that we will be back!

No complaints at all about the accommodation it was wonderful. The lane leading to the cottage is narrow and steep so if you are a nervous driver probably not for you (although it didn’t help we arrived at night in torrential rain) The garden is fabulous, with breathtaking views. The photos do not do it justice. I highly recommend and will definitely return 💗

We received directions which were brilliant and found the cottage with no problems. We were welcomed by a nice bottle of wine and a welcome card. Really enjoyed our stay. To make it perfect, would benefit from new mattress in master bedroom and bathroom update, particularly the shower.

A quaint property located high on a hillside with stunning views. It was clean, warm and had everything that we needed for our stay. Very dog friendly with beautiful walks in the area.

We had a lovely time but did find the access hard to find and to negotiate. We are old. Lovely place and everything you need Even had BT Sport.

Easy check in and out. Everything you need and more is available. Very comfortable stay with incredible views from every window. Secure garden. Would 100% stay again 😊

We did find the stairs in the cottage a bit tricky especially in the night if you need the loo! Otherwise, a great stay and fantastic views down the valley to the Wye.

Such a lovely querky cottage full of character. The gardens and views were just amazing.. we loved the calm peace and quiet in a place where you could truly relax. Cottage was really well equipped with everything you would need Wish it was ours xx

The property was easy to find on line and our experience once there matched the description provided. More warning regarding vehicle access to the property would have been appreciated as the road was very steep, especially for someone with limited mobility. Also sat nav proved the easiest way to find the property.

Absolutely stunning location and cottage. Ample room for a two bedroom cottage with everything you would need provided for . Very cosy too ! We absolutely loved Bank Cottage and would love to return again soon . The Wye Valley is breath taking. Please note that the local convenience store is currently closed .
