Rooms were worn to the point where renovations are needed. Heat was not working correctly, as air conditioning would turn on after a bit. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and the sheets were too short. There were no extra blankets and I was cold. The food from the restaurant was fabulous, or my ratings would have been lower!

Every single staff is friendly, helpful and kind. Entry in room so narrow walker got stuck, not a very good start. The beds are not very comfórtable, they ride in míddle so you roll off the edge and can't stay in the bed.the buffet breakfast was outrage expensive for something that was obviously luke warm reheated. The hotel cost point I could have stayed at the casino..and been pampered for this same cost during this off season.

The shuttle service was great and the driver, Ethan, was the best part of the stay. He has a great personality. The room cleaning service leaves a lot to be desired. They didn't clean the tub even after that was mentioned to the front desk. The toilet had a flushing issue in our room and several others.

An old friend and I were there primarily for hanging out at the Saratoga racetrack, and to also enjoy the natural beauty of upstate New York. Hotel is located within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Hotel staff, including front desk, room attendants, restaurant and bar servers all very friendly and accommodating. The shuttle service provided was such an added bonus during our 4 night stay. Art, our driver during day trips, is an absolute gem. He is super friendly, and very knowledgeable of the area and it’s history. Although this was not my 1st visit to Saratoga Springs, it was surely the most memorable. I look forward to another stay at this hotel next summer.

Bed was hard as a rock, ceiling in shower was falling down, vent in bathroom didn't work and was absolutely clogged with dust. AC sounded like a jet airliner taxing the runway.

The hotel was so convenient to downtown and walkable. The staff were personable and friendly. We were greeted so nicely and extra hospitality touches in the room. Clean, spacious, rollaway bed ready when we had asked for it. Cannot ask for more.

We stayed two nights. All staff members were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. It was nice to have a microwave and a keurig coffeemaker in the room. The hotel is situated close to town and is about a ten minute walk to the town center and the parks. The shuttle service around town was amazing. We can’t wait to go back.

2 things kept me from giving top ratings. (1) I was stuck with a room next to an elevator and more importantly (2) I lost a jacket in the hotel restaurant/bar. I accidentally left the jacket on my seatback in the bar close to closing time, and when I was packing to check out the next morning, I discovered the loss. When I inquired at the front desk and the hotel restaurant staff, no one had turned it in and I feel like it was someone on the cleaning staff or bar staff that took it. It was a sour note to an otherwise OK stay.

The front desk manager could not pull up my reservation and after several uncomfortable back and forth and us searching (she did not recognize my Expedia reservation #) (hotel was fully booked as were all other hotels in Saratoga) the manager came out and found my res immediately. After that, the room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. But no blackout curtains so a light shone in the window from the parking lot all night. There was a very kind worker on Sunday morning who was so helpful to me. My overall experience was ok.

Paid 2k for a 3 night stay when 3 months ago but here them quoting people next to me for $1200 for the same 3 nights. We have stayed 3 nights a year every yr but 2 since 2009 and its disheartening to have people walk in off the street the day of and save $500 over us. Front desk is overly friendly, breakfast is $24 and they have priced themselves right out of the market. I was told there was several rooms left on the 2nd busiest weekend of the meet. Thats what happens when you raise prices 250% in 3 or 4yrs.
On a positive note the bar is convenient and decent, the rooms are small but always clean and Art the van driver is fantastic. Hotel is in a great location with everything you need nearby.
