Convenient hotel not very expensive. Only bad thing is the hotel just needs some touch ups here and there but overall very spacious room and very nice staff

Hotel was conveniently located near a few restaurants and the American Dream Mall and MetLife Stadium. Rooms definitely need maintenance. Floors were badly stained. Sink did not drain well. Beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just that, nothing special but was convenient and included. Front desk personnel, very helpful and nice and lastly there was always a long wait time for the elevator.

The first room we were put in the door was cracked in half like someone kicked it in. We had to get our room changed.only one elevator worked making for a long wait to get up and down.

The hotel is in need of an overhaul the management is very aware of this. The rate of the rooms does reflect the conditions. The check in was great Andrew at the front desk is very very helpful so a big shout out to him. The morning breakfast was great it has lots to choose from & very flavourful & clean. The location is fantastic close to everything. I would certainly stay there again.

Upgrades needs to be done , I had a couple hiccups but overall staff was nice and helpful rooms are spacious

Price worthy hotel with an easy vonnection to NY city by the bus that leaves straight outside of the hotel, just takes about 30 minutes to get to central Manhattan. There was a lot of different stores, Wallmart for example, within walking distance (about 10 minutes). And even some restaurants. The cleaning was good but nothing more all around the hotel and rooms, the building and inventories are on the older side with some tear and wear. The rooms only got cleaned every 3rd day with new bed linnen and towels, that is not enough. There wasa pool in the facility but we didnt use it, it wasnt very welcoming, but surely good enough. The breakfast was simple but totally fine, however without any changes at all from day to day. Overall a priceworthy medium good hotel.

Booked a Deluxe suite. Nothing deluxe about it! It was in need of renovation, dirty, and had a gross bathroom. Stayed two nights; room was not cleaned. Would not stay again.

They only had one elevator working the whole time I was there. The furniture in my room was outdated and stained. There was only one luggage cart for the entire facility. Upon leaving, I had to walk my luggage down 6 flights, twice!

This hotel is right across the street from the Bus 320 stop, which goes to Times Square directly. It is very convenient—less money for a decent hotel near New York.

Very helpful, accommodating staff. However, the property is older, the elevator was in need of servicing, the gym was closed, the room was in need of refurbishing, and the parking was annexed. For the price, however, the space and the location was great. The complimentary breakfast was also particularly good.

Staff were very good and ready to help. It seems the hotel has been neglected by the owners. Entrance and downstairs were OK, but elevators and other floors were stained, neglected and on their last legs. Breakfast was surprisingly good, and again, staff were good and attentive. Bathroom was not nice at all. Rust everywhere in the bath itself, and strange decor that doesn't seem to have been done by a professional. One plus is the transport options - 320 bus to NYC stops right outside. Sadly I will not book here again.

Review Based on my recent Stay Pros : - Close to Downtown. With traffic and all, you can Lincoln Tunnel and be in DT in 20 to 30 minutes. - Few minutes drive to American Dream and walk to some famous stores - Room size was nice , stayed in 2 Bed Suite, and it was spacious - AC was good -Rates were ok, not so cheap as compared to facilities but its close to Manhatten Cons: - Everything is outdated and old - Carpets were dirty and the room was a little bit smelly - The bathroom was old, dated and clogged - I asked to fix the sink clog and they just came and did nothing lol. Someone did show up to try to fix it, but after they left, it was still the same. - Some towels were so old - NO Toiletries at all in the Bathroom. I had to beg them one by one. - There is so much more , but in general if you can pay few dollars extra and get better , please go for it

Everything in the hotel is extremely old. The breakfast is okay, but the location is amazing if you’re planning to visit Manhattan. The bus to port authority stops almost in front of the hotel. It’s also close to the American Dream mall. We stayed for only one night so it was what we needed.

This is a very disgusting hotel. As soon as you enter the hotel there is a really bad oder. There is only one working elevator. The hallway smells bad and has an old dirty carpet. Once you get in your room the oder is still there. The bathroom mirror has a lot of minor damages on the sides of it. You have to plug in the T.V just to watch. There is no lotion and conditioner. The shampoo has an unpleasant smell and has the size of a kids crest toothpaste bottle. The vent in the bathroom is very dirty. The sink drain is not working properly. The microwave is not working, the coffee maker we did not use because it looks dirty. Some electrical outlets are not working. The AC is way too loud. Most importantly the bedsheets are dirty and itchy. Not sure if there was bedbugs definitely feels like it when you sleep.The door lock is not working properly. The wait time for the elevator is crazy. Almost about 10-20 minutes just to ride elevator. Breakfast room is 2x worse smell than in the lobby. We can’t even eat because of the disgusting smell. This was our first time at La Quinta and our last. Would definitely not recommend this place for anyone.

It is far from the Secaucus junction and need a taxi to get to the hotel.

This place is in a good area, close to Marshalls, TJ maxx, Walmart and restaurants. Is pretty accessible to get in and out of the bus and is perfect if you want to be the first one getting into the bus to go to NY. The breakfast is 4/10. The waffle are good but the sausage taste as water and eggs taste awful and has a texture of an sponge. The personal is friendly but the place is going in a downhill because only have one elevator and you will have to use the stairs or wait long lines to get in. This is an ooooold hotel and they have fans running the lobby so no AC and the smell is not nice. We stayed in a suite room on the 9th floor so the elevator was a big problem for us. The room had 2 bed and we found spots of blood when we arrived at night on one of the beds but as was no housekeeping they just give us the sheets and we had to request next day for room service. You have to request it otherwise will be every 3 days. If you don't mind the smells, the stairs, the breakfast and the room because you want free parking and to be close to stores and restaurant then this is your place.

This Hotel should not be allowed to Operate ,its Garbage Rooms are extremely dirty , old no services at all, its a SCAM .

This hotel was the filthiest dirtiest hotel I ever seen carpets was nasty breakfast's was awful I highly recommend not to get this hotel. The only good thing about this hotel was transportation .

I enjoyed my stay nice and comfortable didn't want to leave. Only issue I had was with the elevators, they only has two and only one was working.

Stayed a couple of nights and had a decent time overall.

The bathtub was dirty, no shampoo or body wash was provided.

Elevator was a bit slow but overall a good stay .

The elevator was broke all 4 days. The key cards kept randomly not working and had to keep getting them programmed.

The property is outdated. However the staff and the service were excellent. The bus stop to NY is literally in the front of the property, very convenient. The breakfast was enough for everyone and the pool was functional. But the gym was closed to the public. I had a good stay overall.

This hotel was disgusting. Black mold all around the bath tub caulking. An 8 minute shower in that filth resulted in the tub filling up with about 6 inches of water. 90 minutes later and the tub still was not fully drained. The phone in the room did not work, the tv remote did not work, the fridge wasn’t cold, maybe 55 degrees, and it did not have any button or switches to control the temp. It also had half inch of water on the bottom shelf. The lamp was completely broken at the base so the tube was moving on swivel and the socket for the light bulb was dangling from the tube casing. The desk table was very unstable and would sway a few inches in any direction if you tried to use it. All of the hallways smelled like mold. I found a conference room that had a steady water leak from the rooms above, that was dripping into the floor. This leak must have been occurring for weeks because the entire ceiling had aged water marks throughout the room and it was hot, humid, and moldy in the room. At some point they had a large fan blowing in the room but it wasn’t turned on when I was there. Received a full refund from the friendly hotel staff, who didn’t seem surprised from the list of my complaints. Clear that they were very frustrated with the conditions and they are not receiving support from senior management/ownership to fix any of the problems. We checked in at 11PM and checked out at 10AM the next day. Skipped the included breakfast in fear of bacteria concerns.

Only 1 elevator was working. Wait for elevator was long and crowded. First room, front door was broken and was not locking. Tub was not draining properly. Work out room was out of service.. Changed rooms. 2nd room only had 1 A/C, shower took long to warm up. Front desk had issues locating delivered packages. Not a good experience. Staff was great and helpful. Breakfast was great

Needs upgrades, most of the electrical outlets did not work, and the lobby needs cleaning. The room was quiet and felt safe, so it was a good enough experience.
