The lady at check in was not accommodating. Things she said I wouldn't have told a guest. I saw several bugs (roaches)

Wheh we arrived we had to wait 30 minutes to get in room due too they painted room we made the bed roaches crawling on shower curtain and mirror

This property is the yemp home to all the good utility workers helping the area recover from Hurricane Helene even though the hotel itself is going through it's own revival of sorts. It was comfortable, friendly, breakfast was fantastic and a great location. The staff is wonderful.

I will start with the positive. Staff was very friendly & helpful (though they could use a little training in solo female travel safety- like not to announce my room number out loud when handing the key card).
Otherwise.... upon arrival the room smelled like smoke, the safety lock did not close well, the toilet failed to flush the first time used (just urine- filled to the top of the bowl & never emptied), there was no plug for the bathtub (bathtub WAS nice & brand new looking though had a rough bottom). We mentioned these to the staff who sent maintenance immediately and they fixed it.
Pool was murky/green with algae. We did swim a bit since it had a strong chlorine smell and a pool was #1 reason we chose it. Pool towels you get at front desk were smaller than bath towels in the room!
Microwave in breakfast area was rusted inside and VERY dirty. (see photo)
The room next to ours was also missing a window so anyone could access by crawling through (#112) and we heard noises in that room at night. Highly doubt it was paying guests in there.
I travel a LOT and this was one of the worst places I have been to in all my travels. It is NOT the fault of the staff and they are doing their best, but this place seriously needs an overhaul.
I am in another hotel tonight (still traveling) and the difference is night & day!! Same price- different state & city.

This is our 2nd time staying here. Each trip we stayed for extended time while visiting family. The staff is always really friendly (especially Ms Linda in the mornings at breakfast). Everything is clean and never had any issues. Always feel safe when we are there and I feel safe letting my kids walk around within the hotel by themselves. Also it should be noted that it says they don’t have a pool but they do.

The fridge made a lot of noice and made it hard to sleep .In the bathroom de shower head connection was broken and the water was going in all directions and over the shower curtain .The wet floor made it very slippery !!

Didn't like having to pay an extra $100 cash deposit upon check in and then having to wait an additional 20 minutes at checkout for someone to check the room before I could receive a refund.

At least one person sleeping in a dirty car , on the property all night long ,open window , smoking ,leaving trash by side of car, Reported it to mngr and it was done AGAIN next night. And I was charged more money than the written quoted amount. Check your receipt people !!!!

Upon arrival, checked in, got our room key. Entered room and greeted with a musty room smell. The door stuck and you had to push hard to open it. The mini fridge smelled like old food. The paint on the bathtub was peeling and highly unappealing. The bathroom area was very small. There was a mattress coil that kept poking me in my back. The worst part of our stay, apparently it's ok to move furniture and do renovations on the floor above our room until 12:30 am or later. I highly doubt if there were room residents moving furniture around, the sounds and frequency of stomping, thudding and scraping of furniture across the floor was consistent with renovation work. I was highly disappointed with our stay and will not consider staying at this location again..to note, this is our 2nd stay at this hotel. Our 1st stay was fine and we were on the 3rd floor, but this time, nothing but issues and never again.

The bed in our very small room was in a dilapidated state and squeaked and squealed at every movement. The staff did not seem interested in our complaint.
Soundproofing was poor and every move by those in the room above could be heard.
Breakfast was meagre.
Overall, a disappointing experience.

Arrived after driving all day, found out my booking was made through a 3rd party!!! No refunds after that!! Plus and additional $40 in fees !!! The room was HORRIBLE, Next to the mechanical room...it vibrated... had to move my room at 10pm!!! Only to have the same situation...MECHANICAL VIBRATIONS!! Will be filing for a FULL REFUND!!

It was nice the room had hair in the sink and tub. But I always clean my room to know that its clean like I like it. But overall for the price its nice! Also includes breakfast! I will be back!

There was 2 problem with our stay,the curtain in our room didn't close so a light shine from outside shined on our bed.Second issue was the hot water in the shower,the faucet knob was confusing.

Only good thing was the lady at the desk.
Room was under construction and was a mess. Phone was out of order. No place to hang clothes and there were both cockroaches and bed bugs.
After we retired for the night, we found the roaches and bed bugs. Had to get up, get dressed, pack our belongings and request a different room.
In talking to my Neice, she had a similar experience at another Quality Inn.
NONE OF US WILL EVER STAY AT A QUALITY INN AGAIN!
