This property was one of the best places I have been to and will continue to stay there when I come back to North Carolina.

The location was convenient and looked very nice on the outside

The A/C was turned off when we arrived so the room had a musty smell until the A/C ran a while. The bathroom door is awful- a barn door with a hook to close it. No handle on inside of door so it doesn’t fully close. Lobby is not appealing. No one was at the desk for check in or check out - had to wait for them. A bell would be nice if they aren’t at the desk.

Host upon checking in was friendly. The beds were clean. Breakfast was good. The staff who maintained and kept the breakfast stations full and clean was amazing. She deserved recognition. Didn’t get her name but she worked on April 7th in the morning.

Staff at check out was very cold and didn’t seem happy. Room really needs to be updated. The address for the hotel needs to be fixed as many have mistaken the Holiday Inn Express and the other Holiday Inn across the highway.

Breakfast was delicious

1) The GPS brought us to the wrong location, there a Holiday Inn and a Holiday Inn Express. It brought me to the Holiday Inn, I was told the Holiday Inn Express was a 1/2 mile away, it happens all the time. If they know this why not fix it!! 2) We normal ask for the 1st floor, I was told all the rooms on the 1st floor are for guests who have animals, I am allergic to animal hair, unable to use 1st floor. 3) While waiting to take elevator up to the room I was told by different guests not to use the elevator on the right it was not working correctly. My whole stay I didn’t use that elevator.

Staff was friendly

Beds are not comfortable at all!! Did not sleep well and woke up achy. Overpriced for the rooms!!
