Not well maintained, dirty carpeting and dust on lighting.

We had a great stay. The history of the building was awesome. Everything was in walking distance.

Alexander at the check-in desk was extremely helpful as were Grace in the restaurant and Paul at the breakfast cafe. Amazing food and drinks!

We had a wonderful stay at the Brown Hotel. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Great experience at the restaurant. The server was excellent and the Hot Brown awesome. The property is older and beautiful. The room was very spacious and appeared clean. Our problem occurred when the valet gave us the wrong key fob. He INSISTED it was correct and refused to make sure it was correct when we requested he do so. We were an hour down the road when we received a text saying we had indeed had the wrong fob. We were forced to turn around and return to the hotel. No phone call from the manager! No apologies from the valet ( he ran when he saw us). Meanwhile we are 2 delayed by 2 hours and 150 miles. They did say on by the way we won’t charge you for the valet parking. We reached out to the manager who was unavailable (shocker). I will not be back.

Very nice

Had stied previously with work, Wanted a one day excursion from Toronto Canada and wanted to pamper myself in a great hotel, and have that Hot Brown Sandwich again. From time I arrived, the friendliness and knowledge of the staff from the From Valley to the Front Desk and later maid service everything matched my high expectations. ** Would DEFINATELY Return.

We loved The Brown Hotel. The staff was top notch! The shuttle was a special perk. Several weddings going on during our stay and the staff was on their game. Our entire group was completely impressed with this hotel. Definitely would recommend.

It was a beautifully designed hotel. Rooms nice and clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Unfortunately for me I did not redeem my drink vouchers. But it would be nice if it was per person per night.

Needs to Update rooms

The history of this property is so interesting and the lobby is stunning. There's a reason there are always dones of well-heeled people waiting for dinner here. And the staff are super polite, helpful and efficient. We love staying here.

Amazing beautiful palace

Louisville would do well to try to keep the panhandlers from the area. Not a fault of the hotel. Hot Brown was stupendous

Historical and very cool. Great bar and Hot Browns.

Property itself is a lovely experience laced with history. Staff is all wonderful and very helpful. Expect to walk at least a mile to Bourbon row if you choose to go for that. A lot of homeless all around, but Thankfully they did not harass us. The area is getting a face lift and a lot of new places to visit!

The hotel is historic. The rooms are very dated and the beds are too small. We are a fit couple and a double bed is too small for two people. The food was ok, but overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Very swanky upscale hotel with the charm of the 100 yr old treat that it is. The staff exude class and charm. Loved our stay!

It's Louisville. The property can only look so good

The staff at The Brown was genial and professional. Louise was delightful as she checked on us. Michelle was our server and extremely courteous. I am looking forward to my next visit.

one night stay to celebrate anniversary. nice hotel. classic hotel. old but in good shape,nice big room, modernized bathroom. nice staff all around. good valet service, bellman, checkin, restaurant.

Great history, very much a class act hotel!

We enjoyed staying at the Brown very much. The rooms are in good condition however just small updating would be very beneficial. There are more homeless people about the surrounding area so just be mindful, however no one seem to pose any problems.

The historical hotel was gorgeous. The front check in staff was wonderful, offering recommendations for dining & things to do. We were greeted in our room with an A/C noise issue , which was addressed immediately with an option to change rooms. Great maintenance guy!
