Great choice in every way.

Our stay was brief but comfortable and delightful.

Almost perfect hotel with wonderful staff. The only problem is extremely unstable WiFi connection.

Room was very small and bathroom was awkwardly designed. Shower glass couldn’t cover so water gets all over. Bathroom was so small and hard to use. Also, they put us on 2nd floor by the side street. Constantly there were noisy from the street when they have shipments arriving to the hotel. I suggest to request on higher floor. It wasn’t worth paying that much as 5 star hotel. We stayed CQ afterwards, it was bigger with free water and gourmet coffee all you can. Which was great!

Loved this hotel. Wonderful and friendly staff and walking distance to Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus and Hop Off Hop On bus stop.

Great staff and service

All was great, location, staff, room, bar!!

We stayed in the townhouse section. The access to the townhouse rooms within the hotel are below average, and I suggest guests access from the street instead. The ceiling height was great, beds comfortable. The bathroom’s in the deluxe rooms need updating, as the furniture has warped wood and shower trays semi yellow from age. The WiFi was very poor, and the hotel did try to improve but failed. The spa is out of bounds to children even after having been told they could attend before making the booking, so this was disappointing. The lounge or 10th floor is a bonus, with wonderful views.

It’s a nice hotel, small in comparison to its competitors but convenient. Something about it is a little eerie, but the staff were kind and the check in was quick and smooth.

The property is in a great location! The heart of Mayfair and surrounding landmarks. The staff were very friendly, the only problem I had was the comfort of the room. It was December and the room was very stuffy and warm. The windows were locked shut and no fresh air could circulate. It was difficult to get good sleep due to the warmth of the room even when it was turned to full cool and high fan. It felt like a central temp for entire building?

This hotel was the cherry on top of a perfect trip to London. The staff was very professional and accommodating. The room was comfortable, super clean, and sleek. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Honestly I can’t capture how perfect this hotel was

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. The hotel is in an incredible location, a short walk to Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park and shopping in Mayfair. The rooms appear to be recently renovated and are just lovely - the bathrooms are a bit dated, it would be good to see them modernised. All of the staff are fantastic, this was some of the best service we have ever experienced in all of our travelling. Super accommodating, will even help you make reservations and purchase tickets to events. We were on our honeymoon and they placed a delightful gift of balloons and chocolates in our room, along with a handwritten card from the team. The attention to detail is exceptional. The Breakfast is excellent, and we loved that we could order it to the room for no extra charge. We also ordered from the restaurant for lunch, and that food was excellent as well. A minor negative is that the coffee is terrible, the pod machine in the room is better - but there is a great Italian style coffee place right next door. Overall, we will definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Athenaeum.

I stayed here in March and was really excited to stay here again. Checking in was nice and the room was very comfortable. The real issue is that the ceiling leaked water overnight and saturated the carpet and some of our bags. My husband and I spent the morning drying our clothes with the hair dryer, and when we informed management when we checked out. They told us the leak was unfortunate, but didn't really seem to care, and then asked if we wanted to include an additional £15 to with our bill as a tip. So if you're staying in room 201, the ceiling might be leaking. I've stayed in hostels more accommodating than this. Definitely won't be staying here again.

Really lovely stay. Spa was great, quiet, rooms good. I would say I booked a deluxe room and it seemed to look the same as the cheaper alternative? The only difference says it has a king bed and different pillows and a few sq meters more in the room? Stay helpful. Room service never came and they didn’t seem to care or really explain why or apologies, more of a brush off?

Lovely hotel, very comfortable rooms and excellent locatiobn.

Room was a dungeon, tiny, with no way to get natural light in. They tried to stick 5% extra fee for fun on bill at end unannounced.

overall is good, but it took me too much time on checking in.

Thank you for making our last stop on our 20-day vacation so great! The bed and pillows were by far the most comfortable of anywhere we stayed. The staff was great and so thoughtful on my husband’s birthday. We loved the location, the drinks and the food. So pretty by the park and away from the busy areas but still walkable to everything.

Small rooms. But nice staff.

Such a gem in a great location. Their staff are the best part - they are all very friendly and went above and beyond assisting us to make sure our stay is comfortable, starting from the moment we arrived. I will definitely stay with the Athenaeum hotel again next time I’m in London.

Great location and helpful staff. We had adjoining rooms with our kids and they were spacious.

This hotel was amazing right from the start. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, the hotel Was clean and cozy. The best part was location, everything was walking distance!

Helpful friendly staff made the trip enjoyable in London in a well kept room with thoughtful surprises. We highly recommend the hotel for its location by the Palace off Green Park and their detail to service!
