The room we were in did not have any heat. I went to the front desk to have someone come fix it but they gave me a heater to get my room warm. My husband had to go downstairs to get the room changed.

Their systems was having issues with the incidental hold on my credit card even though the card was just used during the preregistration and was charged 1.00 and then refunded 1.00. They had no breakfast and coffee wasn’t available until 7am. Being that close to an international airport you would think they would offer these options early morning. Many of the other hotels in the area do. There were piles of garbage near all the trash cans and the elevator can only hold 2 people which seemed a bit scary!!

I thought there will be free breakfast but they said you have to pay and later some of the people with the same reservation like us told me that they got free breakfast! ON the other hand, the shuttle service and the shuttle driver was excellent. The shuttle driver was so polite and helpful.

Dirty, cheap hotel.

I had a good experience in this hotel, spending two nights on a business trip.

They told me I could check in early. But get there and now the room I booked wasn’t ready and had to wait and the receptionist had an attitude. But then 30 minutes later gave me a different type of room.

First let me say that the staff was very pleaseant and friendly. Unfortunately the place was is disrepair with most amenities such as pool and restaurant being closed. I was also not told that you needed to explicitly ask for maid service and nobody came to my room to clean up or replenish stock in the four days I stayed there.

Honestly, did not like anythig,. Dirthy and unhealthy, and unhappy emploees. thirthy sheets, bath tub, no clean air anyway. I can't find any pleasant experie to share.

The first room we had, we had to request to be moved because there had been some type of mildew problem or something, and part of the carpet was very wet, and there was mold on the wall that was very visible. When we requested a different room, we were given a room that had not been prepared yet and the bed was unmade. So it was a little stressful having to continuously go back downstairs and ask for a different room. The third room was OK with no major problems. Overall, we felt the hotel could’ve been cleaner and nicer.

This is a very dated property, poorly maintained, and poorly staffed. Once we had been moved into a room where everything worked, we were a little bit more comfortable however after two uses, the coffee pot stopped working, and there was no coffee in the common areas. We were rarely greeted by anyone at the desk and we stayed at this location for four nights. we are custom to Wyndham properties that are much better maintained and have better staff and are cleaner.

They charge $2.00 for a 1oz bag of chips. 😲 Is the correct word for this...

The first room we got had bugs and trash on the floor. We asked to move and the only thing good about the hotel was the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We were moved to a new room that had no bugs we could see and less trash on the floor, but still was obviously not vacuumed. The beds and pillows were the worst ive slept on, and I've done 4 combat tours. The resteraunt was undergoing renovation, so there was no breakfast even though the listing said nothing about that and still said they had breakfast. The pool was covered and looked like a toxic waste pit in the back of the hotel ruining what would otherwise have been a beautiful view. Then to top it all off when we first pulled up there was a guy shooting up in the parking lot and a lady sucking some dudes fingers in another car

It was dirty and old and the pool was closed the restaurant and bar closed too. They need to change what is offered very desptive advertising

Just an old worn down property. Oodles of water damage in bathroom, pained over mold on ceiling, air conditioner fighting for its life.. just old and musty in general. But clean enough to stay at for a short stent. Staff was kind and helpful.. did accidentally check me into a room that someone was already in.. but they were slammed. So I don’t judge but it could have been very bad.

The staff is extremely rude and non customer service friendly.the room provided 2 bath towels, 2 wash clothes and two wash clothes. When asked for more I had to go to the front desk to get them. The next day at 10 am I stopped on my way out to ask for additional towels to be put in my room. Sure no problem I was told. I got back in the room roughly at 8:30pm and my room wasn’t clean and no towels were brought as requested. I called the front desk and ask why and was told she was busy could she call back. I waited 20 minutes called back to be informed they didn’t have enough towels and if I had wanted my room clean I had to request it. If I wanted towels I needed to go to the front desk. Needless to say I was furious. There is also no Continental breakfast. I would never recommend this this place and I will never ever stay there again. Throughly disgusted.

We asked for the room service for the second night of stay and it was not done. We didn’t stay the second day because of that.

The hotel needs work. Our room was dirty, we only had one towel luckily I travel with towels. Hallway had a bad smell. Shower curtains had holes in them. It was hard to turn the shower on. Sheets were dirty and stained. Bed was hard felt like we were sleeping on concrete.

Possibly THE worst hotel experience in memory. - No daily room clean up service - "Clean" Bathroom towel had a blood stain on it - Facilities showing their age (I've heard quieter elevators in coal mine tours) I'm not sure who owns this property now but I expected more from the Wyndham brand.

Apon arrival i waited for my turn only to learn that i didn't have my room type. Apparently so didn't the guests in front of me. The hotel was completely booked and the lovely gal at the desk was calling a supervisor to fix the 3 mix-up. We reserved a King room and had to take a Queen room. So now I have to work hard to get my money back that i over paid for the king room. Checking out i was basically brushed off and told call manager tomorrow and it takes 5-7 business days for a refund. And then we needed more pillows and they had none, not even an extra blanket for us. We come to Schaumburg every year for an EXPO and we were hoping this hotel we would book in the future. Now it's something I will seriously think about because of my stay. We were only in the room to sleep after a long day...not comfortable sleeping so close to my friend and the pillows were very much needed as mine was a flat pancake

It was a more comfortable then most hotel. Fitness center is up to date but no pool available this year which is fine. Room was in clean and bed comfortable with pure with sheets n blankets..

The staff is very friendly but the rooms can be a bit cleaner, our bed looked like it was made by a kid and the sheets were questionable so we asked for clean ones. Great price for the area.

We really enjoyed that it was right by a pond which made for amazing morning walks, but the cleanliness and property overall was Unclean and underwhelming. The pool was completely out of service, even though it was the middle of summer and did not look like any type of construction was being done on it. When we arrived at the hotel, the bedsheets and pillows were stained and dirty. We asked for clean bedsheets and towels, multiple times throughout our one week day, but only received them once. We only received two towels upon arrival and upon asking, even though there were three people staying in the room for the entirety of the week. The front desk for the most part was very polite And helpful, but even when asked it seems like nothing got done.

There was spiders in the bathroom and the cleaners never cleaned our room or gave us new towels.

The pool was closed which was a huge disappointment as we were looking to have a relaxing weekend away from kids to swim a bit and relax it would’ve been nice to have that on the site so we would’ve booked elsewhere. The hotel was not very clean the walls and windows were dirty in all the hallways. The ice machines had no ice we checked the 1st and 3rd floor. Our sheets looked and smelled clean but it had stains that you could tell didn’t come off in the wash. Overall staff was nice but very busy they had a lot of traffic the 2 days we were there looked like they had big events happening so we kept waiting to speak with someone and ended up just leaving.

Room can do better cleaning they advertise breakfast in the morning on the site when it is only coffee I think it should be update

Had a leak in bathroom ceiling over the toilet and shower area.. couldn’t shower or use toilet worrying about the dirty water coming down from upstairs bathroom dripping on my head and body.. they couldn’t get me a room for the most important day that I needed it to take shower and get ready to be part of the wedding party… had to go check in a cheap hotel to take shower… very inconvenient, totally disgusted with Wyndham Garden in Schaumburg, Chicago.. nothing against the staff
