Good stay at a reasonable rate. Just an overnight so didn’t use a lot of the hotel’s amenities. Rooms and hallways a bit dated ( due for an upgrade) but very clean.

This hotel is really showing its age. Shower didn’t work very well in the room, the tiles in bathroom were cracked and so was the bathtub/shower (had rust all over it). Heat did not work at all and was just blowing cold air all night. This place did not hold up to the Fairmont standard/name I expected it to.

All staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Have not experienced such excellent service at a hotel for a long time. Particularly pleased with valet service who parked our car for three days! Bartender was personable and provided information about the city. Waiter Rod was super friendly.

Absolutely beautiful and the staff incredibly professional and helpful. Loved the location, pool and sauna. Rooms gorgeous and quiet. Lots of elevators and an easy 2 minute walk to Tim Hortons coffee under the concourse without having to go outside. Food was incredible.

I checked in an hour early and my room wasn’t ready. So the employee said I have another room the same King size etc but a $50 charge? First time ever that this has happened Fairmont if your moving to a like room they just move you over. I am tired so I say sure whatever, he charges me plus room tax again! So now I have a very old room, very very old yellow and orange 70’s like interior, AC doesn’t work, stained bed spread, coffee and other food spilled on the wall and base boards. I paid an extra $120….. the hotel needs to be knocked down and rebuilt.

This was a hotel I have heard about all my life and I found it underwhelming. I chose to use the valet parking for safety reasons as the parking s strangely located at the rear of the hotel.
The wifi was also convoluted and when I called the front desk about being unable to access the wifi the directions I was given did not resolve the issue. The desk personnel finally gave me the passscode when I personally attended to the front desk. Charging a service fee for wifi of 15.00-25.00 for one night is absurd in 2024.

Loved the location of the property. Place was posh. Staff great. Valet parking people exceptional. They went above and beyond. The negative was that we thought the price quoted was all taxes in, but we got charged quite a bit extra. Also, the receptionist invited us to join the Fairmont group with the incentive of either free drinks or free valet parking, but did not give us the coupon we needed for free drinks (didn't know we needed one) and only one night free parking.

For a Fairmont property, it did not meet the standards. The elevator walls were worn, marked, and needed paint. The rooms were small with beat-up furniture. Stayed at Hampton Inns that were way nicer and cheaper.
It did have a nice bathroom.

Hotel needs a makeover, walls and doors marked up, room carpet falling apart, stains, dirty walls in bathroom, furniture marked up. Does not match the Fairmont brand. Would not stay again.
