Rubyn, at the front desk, was super friendly and fast.
The Delta Center was within walking distance.
The overall energy was perfect. Guests were friendly, breakfast was great and our stay was stress free and enjoyable!

Great place to stay for the price. Many amenities, from a gym, pool and hot tub to free breakfast in the morning. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Within walking distance of downtown was a plus.

Hotel staff were great. They provided Decaf coffee when asked and recommended the best restaurant we patronized during our 13 day trip. Can’t praise them enough

All of the staff was very pleasant. The only hiccup we had was being called down to the front desk to fill out paperwork for our dogs on our second night. We’d told the person who checked us in that we had two dogs but he didn’t have us fill out any paperwork. So when we were called down it kind of made us feel like they thought we were trying to get away with something. Like we were being called to the principal’s office 😅. Again though, it was just a hiccup and all staff we encountered were very polite.

Check in easy and quick. Breakfast quite good. Hotel was in very good condition and well kept . Within10-15 walking to multiple restaurants.

This hotel is in walking distance to many restaurants and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beds were comfy. Great stay for a weekend soccer tournament!

Good value and close enough to anywhere you wanted to go. One of the few hotels that had free breakfasts and free parking. Breakfast was actually good too.

We arrived in the middle of an extreme heat wave, so we probably would have enjoyed the proximity to restaurants a lot more had it not been unbearable to walk even a short distance. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable. One note, the hotel is lovely and in a great neighbourhood, but if viewing open drug use, etc makes you uncomfortable, be aware that there is a park and a mission near by so we did witness intravenous drug-use while walking with our kids, a half block from the hotel. Still we felt very safe and SLC is a lovely place to visit.

Great Hampton Inn breakfast; comfortable bed; fairly large room. On the more negative (and picky side for sure) the water pressure in the shower was not as storing as i would have liked. Maintenance changed the showerhead immediately but to no real help. If you are a walker, the Temple complex was less than a mile and a walkable to some very nice restaurants

The property is clean. Room is spacious. Breakfast is excellent (the best during our 13-day driving tour in the West). HOWEVER, the reason I did not give a 5-star rating is because of its rate. I had booked 5 nights in March 2024 for the room and prepaid it, just to discover a week before the trip that the total charge would be $220 less. What a pricing practice by Hampton! I always thought that early birds get worms. But not true anymore. Buyers be aware!

Tracy at check-in was not friendly and very rude. Room was nice and clean. Bed was very hard. Surrounding area was very nice. Clean pool and great breakfast. The workers who were helping with breakfast were amazing.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Pool was nice and clean. Breakfast had many options but waffles were always out. Overall a good stay even though downtown SLC is a little sketch.

We stayed for 2 nights to attend a concert. It's very close to downtown with many restaurants within walking distance. The train station was only a couple of blocks away so it was easy for us to ride it to the event. The breakfast was good and had a variety of choices to eat. The pool and gym were available 24 hours. Highly recommended

Before I even had a chance to unpack, I already had a text asking me how my room looked and if I needed anything. Wow! SO impressed. And there is a note in the bathroom that stated if you forgot a toiletry item like toothpaste or a toothbrush, they would provide it to you complimentary! That is fabulous!!

We were looking for an overnight stay. Very clean, staff exceptional, lots of channels on tv, great beds, great shower, and best of all great hot coffee.
