Disappointed that the in house restaurant was not the ee same as shown on the photos . Major changes had happened between December 23 and April 24 leaving a much lower standard of restaurant. Had we known this, we would have chosen to book a higher standard restaurant within a short walk of the hotel.

Hello! The 10 minute guest car parking for check-in was taken by some huge 4x4 trucks overnight. This totally ruined my check-in, moving my car in reverse risking an accident, moving to a far away place, leaving necessary things in the car. Being laxed on some abusive guests means an unfair neglect to others. Also, providing a kettle in the room but no tea bag is not very thoughtful. Sorry but the overall impression is "In your face luxury" with little real convenience.

Great staff and property

The location was great and the lobby was full of old world charm. Once you got to the rooms everything was well worn out. The room had not been painted in years and the carpet was filthy. The bathrooms made me cringe. The bedding was so old the sheets were yellow and pillows were as flat as pancakes. The room did not offer a refrigerador. They had a nice bar, but you had to hunt down the bar man.

Good stay friendly stafff. Huge rooms. Clean quiet. Updating hotel in process it appears. We were in room yet to be updated but bathroom was done. Overall a good stay and very convenient

It’s a nice spot. Kept clean. It’s just aging. The elevator got stuck. It’s an amazing hotel currently but in need of an update.

Spacious room with views from both sides; hotel has an excellent location for exploring Beaune and the region; good restaurant with a helpful, friendly staff; hotel could use some work on the condition but overall a great stay

No upgrade

The hotel has a convenient location and looks pretty from the outside. It is definitely not a 4 star establishment; I would give it 3 stars. The staff was overwhelmed and not well informed. There was shortage of cleaning staff - our room was not cleaned most of the day, and finally cleaned late in the afternoon when we asked for service. The job was done poorly, with many areas in our suite left dirty. During breakfast, there was a severe shortage of serving staff; the one person working there was running around looking super unhappy and trying to keep up which was not possible considering the number of people at breakfast. Our room had a lovely balcony which was great, although the table and chairs on the balcony were filthy. Unfortunately the furniture and decoration of our room was awful - IKEA type square desk and a tiny rickety table. Nothing inviting or comfortable about the interior decoration.

We had driven 5 hrs to this hotel and arrived about 7:30 PM upon check-in we asked if they were still serving dinner and the front desk said yes until 8 o’clock. I’m not sure he let the restaurant staff know because it was obvious that our waiter was disgusted. On our late arrival our waiter was rude and impatient. We had wished they had just said the restaurant was no longer seating. Rooms were OK. Carpet appeared dirty and in the shower drain was clogged. Make sure you check your bill upon check out because we were charged for a breakfast we did.not have. If I ever return to Beaune I would stay at another hotel

The property was beautiful. The staff was outstanding! Thank you Solomon Theo Anthony and all the other staff for assisting in making this a wonderful stay.

Convenient and comfortable hotel close to town. Mixture of old and new. Good value.

Excellent location however the hotel seemed very tired and in need of some TLC.

Lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, elegant bar with billiards room... excellent breakfast! Beaune is a beautiful place and this hotel is an excellent place to stay .. looking forward to returning!

Absolutely beautiful! The room was large, the hotel had a stately charm, and the breakfast was fantastic. Easy parking (free) out front. A short walk to the beautiful downtown.

Lovely historic hotel. We had one of their largest rooms, which was huge and beautifully done with vintage traditional oak furniture.

Large room, great large bathroom. Needed a kettle in the room though...and a do-not-disburb sign. We informed them that it was missing but they did not have others.

We appreciate the assistance of the front desk in getting us a cab. Although they were working as fast and as hard as they could, the breakfast didn’t have what it needed all at the same time. No cups or no hot water or no glasses, etc. at different times. I would highly recommend this hotel. Nice big quiet room and perfect location for seeing the sights.

Staff at front desk a problem during checkin - no help at all - complained about us using a booking site other than theirs - acted put out by our check in. Bed uncomfortable- room windows not covered- minimal support for usb devices in room - this hotel not a good choice!

The hospitality was very genuine at this hotel. We were impressed with how spacious our room and bathroom were, esp by European standards! There is a lovely patio for enjoying warm weather and the hotel is within easy walking distance of all the attractions and restaurants in the city center.

We thought there was a lack of interest in us as clients and travellers. We thought the room was good for the money but the breakfast could have been better. Having partaken of 3 breakfasts which were self service, there was a consistent tardiness in replenishing food items and the fruit available was often over ripe and on one occasion there were rotting grapes. We felt that it was not really ideal that the only bar available was taken over by very loud people who were doing a corporate wine tasting on our first evening. There was a slight feeling of condescension by the reception staff for some reason! However the room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel was situated very conveniently to the old part of the city. Our room was very comfortable and the staff were more than helpful. We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the hotel very much!

Excellent staff, and a portion of the building has clearly been remodeled. Our room was in the older section, but had a nice bathroom. I would suggest getting a suite or making sure that you are in one of the newer remodeled rooms. I wouldn't get the breakfast again.
