The property was further away from the location i was wanting to stay.near as advertised. There was a musty smell in the room and it felt damp int the room. We didnt complain because we only slept there so it wasnt that important to us. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was average, nothing special.

The staff was very polite a the room was very comfortable and clean.

About the only thing I found that needs improvement would be the common areas carpet needs replaced

Everything was good, just the hallways needs to be vacuum.. overall the hotel is good and breakfast was great.

It was a quiet afternoon place, close to restaurants, stores, downtown, the beach. The bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that the ice machines weren’t working on every floor. I would stay again.

Even though the rooms have been remodel, the property over all is still pretty dated. The rooms were super humid, despite the temperature in the room being set at 70. The sheets and floors felt damp the entire time. The hallways and elevators were unbearably hot. The free breakfast was subpar at best. While we knew going in not to expect luxury, I did expect the rooms to be at least comfortable enough to sleep but the dampness of the room made it difficult.

Microwave didn’t work. Was there from Thursday to Monday and never cleaned the room . I had to get my own clean towels

The room was alright. A bigger bathroom would have been preferred and I think I was placed in a ADA compliant room. I was also next to the exit and the stairs so it was noisy.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It's an older hotel that has been renovated. The rooms are nicely done. The bathrooms are set up well. The entry and lobby are laid out well. The best thing about the hotel honestly is the staff. Everyone was friendly, caring, and helpful. When you have issues or concerns the staff takes care of it immediately and with a great attitude. Would definitely stay here again.

Pretty good hotel, 15 min from the beach and 15 min from the battleship in the other way. Also pretty close to the stores and some basic restaurants.

My daughter and I stayed here while in town touring a college. It was great for an overnight stay.

Nice hotel, beds were pretty comfortable, a little on the soft side. Breakfast was decent. Very nice staff and the hotel was quiet. Would stay there again.

Management was outstanding. Air conditioning seriously, seriously needs to be updated.

Overall this was a good place to stay. It was conveniently located to the beach and other areas of interest, it included breakfast, had a pool and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately the temperature in the room didn’t get cool for a long time and there were cracks in the sink. Minor cosmetics but I like that there is no carpet in the room!

The check in staff was excellent efficient and friendly. The breakfast was extensive with different choices each morning. The breakfast staff was also very helpful and friendly. I found the grab and go fruit very convenient and an appreciated extra. We had a wonderful time eating and relaxing by the pool. It was a great location, reasonably priced and close to Carolina Beach and historic Wilmington. One disappointment, our room was only cleaned once during our 4 night stay. I would stay again in the future.

I reserved a king suite with shower only for my first wedding anniversary. Upon checking into my room I was given a double queen instead with a standard tub. The excuse I was given was all third parties bookings come over as double queens. I explained that I have a receipt showing king shower only and not only that but this was my first wedding anniversary. Unfortunately we had to sleep separately the first night as there was only queen beds available. Since we had 3 days 2 nights we were given a king on the last night but we had to check out of the first room at 10am and recheck in at 2pm into the other room. From this experience we were not able to experience the beach because we didn’t have nowhere to change in the middle of the day or to shower. Not to mention Saturday was our actual anniversary. This was our first time visiting Wilmington area and by far the hotel experience was the worst. The showers definitely need upgrading as the caulking is rusting and we did manage to kill a roach as well in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice and staff kept the breakfast area tidy!

Everything was great and clean

Lobby, hallway and rooms smelled old and musty. Front desk was very good. Breakfast was mediocre, but the staff was very good. A/C worked well. Bathroom was nice. Third floor ice maker was broken all 4 days. Hallway carpet looked nasty. Elevators were hot. Had trouble with key cards all 4 days.

Very clean and comfortable

Room wasn’t clean the fridge was black on the inside and floors were nasty. The shower was dirty as well. The air conditioner didn’t work good at all it ran on 66 nonstop and the room was still very hot.

Nice location, close to everything!

Only concern was height of bed. I have mobility issues and had to go out and buy a little step stool in order to be able to get into bed.

A nice stay. The room could've been cleaner...trash was not emptied and needed to be vacuumed. Breakfast could have more options compared to other Plus hotels I've stayed at.

The room was very clean. The hotel was close to all the things we wanted to do in Wilmington.

The carpet was very dirty, inside and outside the bedrooms. The bedroom are very small and the closet don’t open well

The breakfast was good, and the room was clean.. however the king size bed was terribly uncomfortable

My room condition was so much humidy and even bed sheets were not really dry condition, so hard to fall into deep sleeps well by its kinda sticky moisturing feeling. I don’t know this was the area specific weather condition or the room only problem, but we had not pleasure experiences.
