Great historic hotel with plenty of charm.

The room was very nice - clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and cheerful. There was no coffee available in the morning in the room or lobby, which was disappointing.

So, we didn't know there was an "annex" / long-term stay area when booking on Hotels.com. I blame Hotels.com more for this. Anyways, the actual room we stayed at was 2+ blocks away from the hotel itself, there was no good parking nearby. REALLY didn't enjoy the walk back from 8th/Mass to our hotel room at 11pm from the concert.

Terrific location to enjoy local artists, restaurants, and shopping all in walking distance. Quiet area during the week. Close proximity to KU! Enjoyed the spacious room with separate bedroom from living area.

We enjoyed our stay at The Eldridge. The rooms are spacious and clean.

I wanted to stay on the haunted fifth floor and Front Desk Manager Brian was gladly able to accommodate me. Super friendly staff and gorgeous hotel. I have already booked another stay for this September!

I have stayed at Eldridge before so I had expectations it would be similar. First off they wanted to put me in an "annex" building off site. I did not even know there was such a thing so make sure you check your reservation. I ended up paying 35 more just to stay in the actual hotel. not cool. the hotel was not full so I am not sure why they did that. NO restaurant NOR coffee service in morning. NO hot water or coffee maker in room . I had to go to starbucks. Frankly i find that shocking for a 250.00 a night room. it seems like they have new cost cutting measures that make me just want to go to airbnb now. are you cutting costs so much that you can't put out a simple coffee urn and some cups??? it is the little things that you make you feel like you are appreciated and it just was missing from this experience. I wouodl say front desk staff were awesome but they don't make the coffee.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Booked thru Expedia and immediately after booking we realized the dates were incorrect. Called the front desk and they said to contact Expedia. We spent 45 minutes chatting and the virtual assistant or maybe it was a live operator but they said they would see what could be done. They tried once to contact the hotel, didn’t get an answer so I guess they just decided to decline to assist. I realize I made a mistake but mistakes happen. What would have been nice if the property offered some assistance and Expedia would do more than the bare minimum.

The staff was great. On site restaurant good and waiter there (Austin) very professional. Another good stay for us at this historic place.

Such a beautiful building in an amazing spot. The staff were all so nice and helpful. I loved the live music in the lobby the night that we were there as well. The room was very clean and spacious. We will definitely be staying there again.

Love the history of the property as well as its close proximity to all the bars/restaurants. I highly recommend for a night out or wknd getaway

Love how they incorporate the history of the hotel and the area into the decor - and the mini museum in the basement. Staff was all extremely nice and helpful too.
