Riverside hotel close to all the attractions.

I was given a room with a broken A/C. They definitely new about it, but still gabe me the room. When I complained, they had no other room available and had fans at hand. It was very hot and humid. They should have taken the room out of their inventory. I though they we going to give me a rate break, but didn't. I chose a high rate hotel to make sure I had a comfortable stay. So, I was very disappointed.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel with an unbeatable location, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The hotel is perfectly situated, offering easy access to all the major attractions and amenities of the area. Whether I wanted to explore local landmarks, enjoy fine dining, or shop till I dropped, everything was just a short walk away. The rooms were another highlight of my stay. They were not only clean but also impressively spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. It’s clear that the housekeeping staff takes pride in their work, as the room was spotless every day of my stay. One evening, I decided to visit the hotel bar, and I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and welcoming bartender. They were not only skilled at mixing drinks but also great company, making for a delightful evening. The service throughout the hotel was consistently excellent. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met promptly and with a smile. One minor issue I encountered was that the air conditioning in my room was somewhat limited. However, the staff did their best to resolve this by bringing in a fan, which made it a bit more comfortable. Overall, my stay at this hotel was fantastic. With its prime location, immaculate and spacious rooms, friendly bartender, and exceptional service, it’s a place I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Hotel was nice, breakfast was weak and they don’t help you with your luggage. First hire I have seen where they don’t assist you with your luggage. Pretty disappointing.

The lobby is nice and it’s well located. The breakfast was great. Staff were not overly helpful and the rooms and beds were acceptable.

We had THE MOST AMAZING view of the river and Ponte Vecchio. The windows opened wide for the fresh air. The room was beautiful and very classic Florence decor. Bathroom was a bit tight but lovely. Our breakfast was included and delicious. The location is excellent. Central in the old town. We loved it!

Everything was perfect

Received room didn’t correspond description and amenities that were provided by booking deluxe category number. Room was much smaller without double windows. After complaints at the reception, staff ignored and was arrogant. You could clearly see that in this tourist packed area, customers are not priority. Also interior of the hotel in no way have level of the 4* hotel.

We found the hotel very nice, clean and the hotel staff was great.

Loved the location and the large windows to see the river and enjoyed the staff’s helpfulness. Great breakfast and walkable to so many places.

Good location

First we were told that we were upgraded for free to a room with a view of the River and of Ponte Vecchio. That was already a win!!! The view from the hotel room was so so beautiful. The staff were super friendly and polite and professional. The next best thing about the hotel is the buffet breakfast spread! Of all the hotels we stayed in Italy, this hotel had the best breakfast spread and the food was great quality. We especially enjoyed the variety of pastries that were nicer than those cafes outside. The staff also were very sweet to write our names on our coffees which impressed us on a different level. Room was clean and toilet was spacious. Just that the shower is located in a bathtub so might not be too accessible for some but it was fine for us. We greatly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend.

We were genuinely overwhelmed by our beautiful room. It overlooked the river with two huge windows. The staff were very kind and helpful and went out of their way to make our experience as enjoyable as possible. Breakfast was super tasty with everything on offer to suit all palates. This hotel was wonderful and the location was perfect for visiting anywhere in Florence with all the attractions and designer shops within very easy walking distance. It has a lovely roof terrace and attractive foyer for eating, drinking and coffees. We didn’t want to leave.

Great location to all the sites most want to see. 5-10 min walk for most.

This property is picture pretty. Breakfast was wonderful and bed was very comfortable. Water pressure was very poor for showering. No air conditioning and too much street noise to open the window. Only stayed two nights.

I’ve stayed at Hotel Berchielli at least 6 times. The location is perfect and the staff are amazing. They always remember me. The two ladies at the front desk were so awesome when my luggage was lost by the airlines. This hotel isn’t super fancy and doesn’t need to be. Good clean rooms. Great breakfast. Great location. Fantastic staff! I do wish the tv had at least one English speaking station but that’s so minor and obviously doesn’t keep me from coming back year after year:)

We loved our room with a view, paid extra for it and worth it. Bathroom a little bit on the small side but nice shower. Fab view of pont vecchio, everywhere very walkable from here.

Great service, attentive staff and great breakfast. The beds are not the most comfortable but the location is great and having a view of Ponte Vecchio is amazing.

Had an awesome stay here in Florence! Super walkable to most restaurants and shops downtown, as well as being located right on the river! The room was super clean and comfortable. We got recommendations for dinner from the front desk and they were even able to book a reservation for us. Would highly recommend a stay here, it was our favourite stay in Italy on our trip!

Great location.

The river-view from the 5th floor cannot be beat; absolutely lovely. The rooms are large, well appointed, and the bathroom was very nice. The bed was a 6/10 for comfort, but the pillows were a 1/10, just awful. It’s very hot in the rooms without the windows open, but very loud while open. The lobby is hot at all times and smells VERY strong of perfume. The breakfast was wonderful.

Our room with a view of the Arno River and Ponte Vecchio was delightful. Breakfast was very good. Service was excellent. We walked everywhere and enjoyed an excellent visit to Florence.

It was like an oven. We were there right during winter and you cannot turn off the heat in your room. We slept with all the windows completely open and were still hot. The temp in our room was horrible. What a waste of energy

The members of staff were excellent, polite, kind and very helpfull. Complements to Yassy, Monica and Stefano and the other staff.

It’s an antique building but with updated facilities. People are super nice! Next to the river, close to the heart of tourist areas. Everything is walkable, with tons of dining options too. Breakfast is included with very delicious selections! I would stay there again if i go visit the area!
