had a disappointing experience during my stay. The staff was not as accommodating as expected, and the room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. I had to request towels multiple times, and after waiting over an hour for the first request, I had to follow up with a second call. This lack of responsiveness was frustrating and impacted my overall experience. Carpets in room stained and nasty..never cleaned , foreign objects on floor.

Very good hotel in the bustling Zona Viva of Guatemala City. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only negative was that the pool is closed for renovation which I did not realize at the time of booking. They are offering an alternate pool down the street…

This hotel is by far its my favorite in Guatemala City. Talk about 5 star service . Everything about this hotel is top notch . The staff and friendly demeanor of everyone there .

This hotel is outdated and way overpriced. The rooms smelt bad and felt dirty. The area was convenient and the staff was helpful with setting us up with a ride from the airport. Overall I would choose a different place to stay.

My stay at the InterContinental was brief. The hotel is very modern and clean. The room very satisfactory. I arrived late and was quite pleased that the staff allowed me to place a late night food order while doing my check in . Highly recommend.

We used the Intercontinental Hotel as a place to stay entering and exiting Guatemala. Our shuttle was not at the airport as prearranged. The room was not ready and then smelled strongly of disinfectant. There was a mix up with the credit card and an employee hounded us about it for our whole trip though we said we were returning shortly and they were holding two hundred dollars of ours. I would choose a different hotel if you want professionalism.

I have booked many days prior and they advertise the pool and spa and upon my arrival they tell me there is no pool and Spa working but it will be working the second day of my stay. The second day came still no pool working the third day of my day still no pool working so I left and went to another hotel. On the second day I had asked to speak to a manager and I was told a manager would contact me and that did not happen. Upon my check out I mentioned the manager never contacted me and then finally a nice lady came talk to me while I was getting into my Uber to leave

Hotel is very good, nevertheless, we had a corporate lunch on one of the conference rooms and food was really bad.

Air conditioner did not work properly in the room. Elevators were broken at one point, the lounge was closed and there was zero decor in the rooms. Very sanitary, there are other options that are better in the area.

I made my decision to stay in this hotel because the location was convenient and the hotel would allow for early check in. The information for the hotel said "early check in at noon." Once I was at the hotel's reception I was informed that the room was not ready and early check-in was not available. I had to leave my luggage at the reception desk since I had a late evening meeting to attend. This was the only negative issue - so I will plan accordingly for next time. Upon my return to the hotel, after midnight, my room was ready. The Hotel was clean, the service was great, the restaurant was very good, the wifi was fast. The pool and gym look very good and unfortunately we didn't have time to visit the SPA.
I would definitely stay there again.

Liked the amount and quality of food options offered for breakfast. Hallways smelled a bit musty, and shower curtains didn't contain water inside the tub well enough, and got floors very wet when showring.
