Decent price, decent stay. For a night it was exactly what we needed.

The hotel is very poor value for money. There are no additional facilities at the hotel. No room service. The restaurant was never open. Poorly staffed. The duty manager over the xmas period was super rude. I have travelled extensively and would rate it a 3 star hotel at best. Would never return and never recommend.

First time in Bern. I love the city and hotel. Room was very clean and modern. Staff was very attentive. The city's bus/tram service stops accross from hotel, so you can be in downtown or old town in about 15 minutes. Added perk, if you're on 4th floor or higher, you get a nice view of the alps!!

Location is good

The property had a really cool atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and clean. We loved how up to date the TV was, so we could watch our shows by casting with our phone. Loved that they provided refillable water bottles.

The receptionist was a breath of fresh air and we loved her recommendations! She really made the whole experience a great one.

Overall we were happy with our stay. There is a clean underground car park. The room is a typical size with a good size king bed. The sofa bed was a bit soft. The bathroom was clean and modern with a nice shower. There is a separate toilet but it has no sink or bidet which we found problematic. The staff were all positive and nice to deal with. The breakfast had a reasonable selection of hot and cold food; you could order certain items also such as fried eggs. We didn't explore the local area but it appeared safe and quiet. Items such as breakfast and parking were pricey however it seems that is typical for Switzerland.

We enjoyed our stay in this Novotel, it is and feels new, comfortable room of good size, very courteous staff and we were given free public transportation during our stay, the tram stop to the old town was just a few meters away which made it very convenient. Parking like in most hotels in Europe wasn’t included and was somewhat expensive, but that would be my only critique.

Very nice place— AC and parking are available— friendly staff, close to old town and rose garden. Close to COOP and a gas station with a convenient store. It’s suitable for families.

Small room, expensive breakfast, no fridge in the room, no coffe mugs, 2 sleeping blankets for 4 people and when the front desk made a payment error they did not take responsibility for it.

It's conveniently accessible by tram to get into/back from town. Not much to speak about regarding amenities.

Lovel hotel, good location. Value for money.

We’ve stayed at many novotels and came here after a good stay at the one in Munich. Check in took over half an hour. The air con didn’t work at all during our stay and we hardly slept for our 4 nights there. Even with the window open all day the room was a sauna. We had it set to 19 degrees all the time and it just remained hot. The breakfast was okay but the staff were so rude and had no manners. The woman who was checking everyone in For breakfast was just arguing about paying for the breakfast there and then despite paying a CHF180 deposit when checking in, for incidentals. She argued and then said she would check but never came back as she obviously knew she was wrong. The breakfast fee was taken off the deposit when we checked out, along with the tourist tax, as expected. Also, having this deposit upon check in (which no other hotel in our 2 week stay at various hotels had) means you can’t have an express checkout as I wouldn’t feel comfortable knowing if such a big deposit would be returned. This seems policy around all novotels now though, so another reason we won’t be staying with them. Another one of the breakfast staff walked into the back of me carrying stuff saying excuse me and carried right on. The housekeeping staff were so rude, never acknowledged our existence even if greeted. There was no iron in my the room - only a communal one on 5th floor Would not recommend this hotel at all and would rate them a zero for everything.

A clean, quiet hotel with a good restaurant. Wish it stayed open later offering a limited menu.

It is a bit far from Bern town but easy to access through Bus #9A. Super simple. The rooms are tiny - ok for couple but not for sleeping 3. Bathrooms small too. Cost effective option in pricey Bern.

Parking sucks, they charged me every day for super narrow spots that lost people double parked it was a mess to park. Room service sucks they didn’t bother refilling toilet paper and soap. Super stingy place..

The hotel had a very bad smell on the third floor. There were spiders in the room. Lamp had webs all over. Disappointing for a Novotel. Would never stay again.

I have booked room for 3 days for couple with child. They have given very small room. Service is horrible I have prepaid my whole booking before checkin. But that had my credit card so while checking out They charges me for city tax that is fine but they additionally swapped 390 euro that I have no information. I can back and then I saw a bill in my credit card history and got to know that have charged it. Then I have made a international call and explain them they took some time initially didn’t agree but when I am providing all info he stared to look into this and confirm me it happened. Then he reverted my amount. But it is unnecessary hassle that I went through. I am really disappointed by their service.
