Room was nice and clean and staff was great!

Very convenient location. Nice staff although they were shouting to each other at 9am to clean rooms and hoover. Not soundproofed at all. But room was fine for the price.

GOOD: excellent location, quite newly renovated and clean bathrooms, possibility to air the room, reception available 24/7, warm water in shower, felt ok safe, towels changed and trash emptied every day, grocery stores / shops / tube and buses all very nearby BAD: carpeted floors were dusty and walls were dirty, rooms are very small and on top of that inconveniently decorated space wise, no help with the luggage from the staff Probably the best you can get with this budget in London these days.

Perfect location for a vacation in the city center. Getting around the city is easy since there are plenty of bus and tube stops near the hotel. Reseption is always open which makes it easy to communicate ones needs to the staff. Hotel room was just what we needed. Multiple grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Streets surrounding the hotel are a bit noicy sometimes (which is to be expected in a busy city center), that might disturb someones sleep. Would stay again at this hotel. Definitely recommend.

The staff was nice. It was a clean hotel. The building was old and the room much smaller compared to the US. Overally it was a nice stay.

This property was very clean and in a good location. Local dining was excellent! Quiet. Safe. Two downsides: no lift and we were on the top floor with quite large baggage. No climate conditioning. Even in early June our room was fairly untenable.

Pfff - its OK. If you need somewhere for a night its fine. No lift though, so if you're mobility impaired or with a heavy bag, maybe not for you.

Family of five in one room!! We did it! An affordable vacation in London was possible thanks to the Marble Arch Inn. Having that many people in a tiny room was a little like camping … we only spent time there in our beds. The neighborhood pub and breakfast spot were gorgeous. Restaurants and shopping nearby made everyone happy. We felt like Hyde Park was our own yard and went there every day. Plus, the marble arch is a bus stop for both the red and the blue lines for the BigBus hop on hop off tour. We walked to the Paddington station for the express to Heathrow. Easy peasy. One thing: there’s no air conditioning… but the windows opened wide and it was perfectly comfortable. But with open windows you’ll hear the noise on the street…so bring ear plugs or something if that’s going to bother you. The front desk guys were so kind and friendly. They were always there… 24/7. And they always had a kind smile and warm greeting as we came and went.

Property is nice, location spectacular but watch out. Items were stolen from my wife. We also had ants all in our food that was package by morning bringing it there in the late evening. When we approached the manager about the theft issue, (we didn’t accuse anyone specific), he then called a women who cleaned our room, once she was briefed about the issue she began yelling at my wife terribly, and later took revenge on us by refusing to clean our room after we returned from a long day of tourism. We had no soaps, fresh towels, or any service. When we demanded restitution from management we were given the run around and tossed around hoping we would let it go. Our room wasn’t cleaned for 2 days and the experience and how management dealt with this was horrible. Our stay was not at all what vacationers deserve.

Although the staff where excellent and welcoming, the facilities were not as advertised, the only new amenity where the bed and the tv, small btw. The walls were dirty, floors uneven, old carpets and extremely cramped shower.

The location was wonderful, just a few minute walk to Hyde Park and Oxford street. Staff was friendly and helpful

Wasn’t expecting to walk upstairs for the toilet and shower and we heard two people making love and someone having a poo television wouldn’t turn on.

Very reasonable, booked at short notice (on the day) will book again if in the area.

When we arrived the room we booked had been cancelled by the hotel and we were given a smaller room … this was dirty , paint peeling off the walls , the smell of damp and mould was disgusting. Breakfast was a bruised banana , a squashed stale croissant and a penguin biscuit absolute disgrace. Will not return and are disgusted that Expedia would advertise such a terrible property.

great location, friendly staff lots of dining nearby. avoid room 7 as it located near stairway with much noise (like thundering up and down stairs) also much noise above. would recommend ear plugs. bagged breakfast a joke. would stay again just not in room 7.

Bathroom was a two and a half flights walk above room. Room was so small no where to open suitcase except on bed. Breakfast was not provided even though it was supposed to be included. No price adjustment or advance warning provided. Staff was unprofessional and noisy entertaining friends.

A lovely little hotel! Easy to get to, on a busy road but we weren’t disturbed at all by noise! The owners were super friendly and the hotel was lovely and clean. This will definitely be my go to when staying in London. I just loved it!
