We had to move from one unit to the next mid vacation due to ,either, vrbo, or coral reef making an error, in which they gave us a lodging unit which was not abailable for the entire period of our vacation. We received a modest discount for our inconvenience, having to move all of our stuff and boat slip. Other than that, it was a beautiful property and great location. I would recommend calling the Indigo Reef Resort and avoiding VRBO all together to avoid miscommunications.

Incredibly secluded from the every day Marathon hustle and bustle. Fantastic views and great management support.

Very spacious. Quiet. Good access to the keys. Not very easy to get in a kayak from the high docks.

We enjoyed a week long vacation in Marathon, Fl and chose Indigo Reef Resort as our "home base". Indigo Reef itself is a wonderful place to stay, however our Villa ( 11) had many issues. First of all, the unit was not properly cleaned. There was food on the stove, the floors were very dirty, hairs left in two bathrooms, and when my daughter to bed at night she had to get out and shake the sheets because the sheets were sandy. Many items in the unit were broken (cabinets about fell off upon opening) and the washer leaked all over the floor. We called the unit Manager and he was not friendly at all. He said that we would have it fixed and it never was..with only 6 towels given for 6 people, laundry is very necessary. This is only a fraction of problems we encountered! Bottom line, we would totally stay at this location again. We will be very careful with which VIilla we are given, most are very nice and well taken care of and the grounds are well cared for.

For some reason, information that was to come to me regarding check in, rules, directions, etc. from KeysCaribbean would not either email or text. I spent a lot of time tracking down someone to talk to, and although they were nice, there was a definite electronic communication problem. The villas are spacious, the grounds lovely, the pool very large. The porches were picturesque, but unusable because of the bugs. Very convenient for boats/fishing.

Beautiful grounds and terrific villa. The sunsets were just gorgeous, really made for a wonderful getaway. Make sure you read the arrival info though - it's important!

There is a boat dlip in front of each unit. Only the one you are assigned is 100's of yards away. Frustrating. Not the resort it used to be.

Would rent again

The property was not ready when we arrived, and we have to wait more than 3 hours, the sheets on the bed were dirty.

The resort was in an excellent location and very well kept. Though expensive it was worth the steep price tag for convenience and location. The unit was top notch and pool area pristine. On the downside for a resort of this caliber I would have expected a hot tub in the pool area and at least a small beach. The sample shampoos and lotions and soaps were very skimpy for a stay of a week for 5. The gym was sparse and equipment antiquated. To end on a positive note, interacting with the mother and baby manatee off our dock was lovely. Also the breezes and views from the 4 porches were delightful.

Centrally located in Marathon, we had a 3 Bed unit with a boat slip. Perfect for our family.

The villa was really spacious. The views from our veranda and balconies were amazing. The villa is very well equipped. The pool is fantastic and is only a couple of minutes from our villa.

It is a home away from home with a beautiful view. The place has a fully stocked kitchen. The rooms are comfortable. It is quiet resort.

Do not stay in unit 11. The resort itself was beautiful and well maintained but Unit 11 badly needed renovating. The paint everywhere was dirty, worn and scraped. There was mold in the bathrooms and water damage on some ceilings. Furniture was dirty and badly worn and the whole unit had a nasty smell and a delapidated air. The fridge was dirty as was the cooker. The master bedroom drawers contained someone's used underwear and an empty beer can. Again, the resort was beautiful but this particular unit needs a top to bottom makeover and better cleaning staff.

Beautiful condo and grounds. Loved that it's right on the water. Kitchen is sufficiently stocked with dishes; beds and pillows were comfortable; spacious dining/living room areas. Condo was very clean and looks like it's kept up well. My only suggestion is to have curtains over the blinds so that bedrooms are darker at night. Coming from a rural area, I had a hard time sleeping with all the light from street and grounds lights getting around and thru the blinds. My only real issue was being awakened 2 nights in a row by a dog barking from the properties just to the north (not from an Indigo Reef unit). Hopefully that wasn't a regular tenant and is only a one-time issue.

Villa had hole in ceiling with water dripping. Called mgmt co. They did nothing....

Nice clean place. Big and spacious. We loved the kitchen!! It was fantastic for cooking! We loved visiting the pool! We enjoyed our stay!

Great location, very safe. A perfect place to rent if you arrive to Keys with your boat. House was very spacious and well planned. We loved beautiful terraces. View from our house was amazing, but it was north side, so we had no sunshine on our terrace, nor in the house. We would have enjoyed sunset view house even much more.

Wonderful stay. Spacious, modern and clean accomodations. Sam was extremely courteous and helpful. Great for families. Beautiful property and pool (heated). No housekeeping services, but we didnt mind. Also no crib/ pack n play, so we had to bring ours from home.

I booked 4 terrific nights at Indigo Reef in January. The pictures do not do it justice, the resort is beautiful! The unit was a very spacious, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath with spectacular views of the water from 2 private balconies. The lower level was a great room living area, plenty of windows, light and airy yet very private. This area included a beautiful kitchen, granite and stainless steel with all the necessary utencils of good quality. Flat screen plasma TV, DVD player, under the cabinet stereo, more than we expected! Nice furnishings, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The 3 bedrooms were located on the upper level along with 2 full baths and your washer and dryer. The master bedroom was my haven, cathedral ceiling w/ fan, french doors, walk in closet and a spectular bathroom. The french doors opened to a beautiful deck to watch sunsets from or enjoy your morning coffee! The bed was so comfortable, linens and towels were lovely. Housekeeping came daily to replenish linens and tidy up. We ended up spending our time at the huge resort pool, located in a beautifully landscaped area overlooking the marina. The water was crystal clear and heated to boot! Plenty of lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas for your comfort. We went for relaxation and accomplished it! Sorry we had to leave, but plan on returning soon!
