My wife and I had a fantastic time. We visited for my Cousins Wedding it was the perfect place. If I could give a bit of feed back it would be I wish we had Wash cloths in the Bathroom and a sheet on the bed, The comforter was great but I sleep hot and wish there was a thin sheet to sleep under. That is more of a me thing though. The staff was very good. I would definitely recommend people stay here in the future!

The issue i had with our room was shower in the bath i had two knee replacement and the would not take a shower

If you want a hotel that is close to Trim Castle you cannot get any closer. Reasonable price huge room and nice staff.

Lovely staff… each one of them! Delicious breakfast. Fabulous views of the castle and conveniently located. We would definitely stay at Trim Castle Hotel again.

When we checked in, we were directed to a trolley for transporting our luggage from car to our room. Lousy first impression. It was advertised that two restaurants should be open and serving dinner however only one was open and fully booked until 8:30pm. We were forced to look elsewhere. We had a great meal at a local Indian restaurant that was quite hospitable unlike the The Castle Hotel. The room was costly; service was distinctly poor. More motel than hotel. We will not stay there again.

I stayed with my partner here in one of the double rooms. The hotel is nicely decorated and staff were really friendly and attentive. The room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. Note there’s no fridge in the double rooms if you plan to bring any drinks/food with you. The room was on the third floor where there’s also a lovely seated terrace overlooking the castle. We didn’t eat at the hotel except for breakfast just because we wanted to explore the area a bit. The included breakfast was at Jules restaurant and had lots of options - I can recommend the pancakes. They included toast and croissants too. It’s known for hosting wedding parties so as expected there was music from the top floor till quite late but wasn’t any bother to us personally. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway this is a must.

Second time at this hotel. Love the location and ability to walk around Trim. Great restaurant across the street we like to go to. Room was very nice but bathroom was not designed well and shower a bit difficult to use. Breakfast was ok. Staff was great and very respond to a minor problem we had. It’s a big wedding venue. Would recommend.

It was a nice place

We stayed in the large 3rd floor suite. It was quite comfortable, and the view of Trim Castle was lovely. Food in the restaurants there was average, but wait staff were well below par and generally couldn't discuss most items on the menu (and hadn't even tasted most of the menu items). Booked this hotel because it advertised a shuttle to/from the airport, only to discover later the service has been cancelled. Expect 100-pound taxi fares between the hotel and Dublin airport.

Loved the hotel & service! Its proximity to the village was great, and a bonus was being mere steps away from Trim Castle! Wish we’d had more time to explore! Hope to stay here again!

The Trim Castle Hotel proved to be a wonderful place to spend our final night in Ireland. It was close enough to Dublin Airport that our morning commute was simple and efficient. The hotel's proximity to Trim Castle made for a leisurely walk through a historically significant landmark and the local pubs provided dining and live music options so we were well fed and entertained on our last evening of a dream vacation.

The main lobby area is nice however the rooms are quite dated. We reserved a king with sofabed and unfortunately the sofabed was barely usable (flimsy mattress, bed wouldn’t stay flat) and we were moved to a new room on our request. Both of the rooms we saw had an overpowering perfumed air freshener which just made the room seem even more gross. The hotel is fine for one night as a pit stop to or from Dublin airport but I wouldn’t stay longer.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Beautiful spacious hotel with comfortable A+ rooms. Very courteous and friendly staff. Our dinner last night at Bailey was delicious with a wonderful wait staff and host. Breakfast this morning at Jules was "over the top" - great food, friendly and attentive service staff, and a good place to start the day. We would stay there again. Thanks!
