The hotel is truly a home away from home. Great location, with all the things needed to enjoy the beach and surrounding area. The suites are well appointed and the staff is very responsive.

This was a really cute beach motel and imagine we will stay here again. Very lovely layout of the room, clean and comfortable, didn't hear a peep from our neighbors, parking on property, very easy access to the beach, various spots to eat/grab a coffee/go to a playground/etc by walking or a very short car ride, and can view the launches if they occur during your stay.
The only thing that we did not enjoy was they allow smoking on the balcony. It made it to where we were not able to sit and enjoy it as much as we had hoped to (I am very allergic to cigarette smoke).

Great location and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the stay but did not realize the 3rd floors have no balcony. Only has a large slider. Definitely book 2nd floor if we go again.

Calm and relaxing. Staff was very nice. Grounds are well kept and unit was clean and up to date. Only downfall was the bed was harder than our liking, but everything else was great.

The property is older but well maintained. The peaceful location and oceanfront units are relaxing and quiet. The room was very clean especially the washroom. The very negative side is the beds. Both the sofabed and king bed were very dated and uncomfortable. The air con was loud and you cant lower past 72F.

This is a wonderful property!! Perfectly located, not far from restaurants, but not too close to be in the congested part of town.. on an almost isolated part of the beach. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. They even provided beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella if you'd like. The pool area and property were also very clean. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. I wished i was able to stay longer than one night. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in town.

Tuckaway shores is fantastic! My husband and I spent 4 days there. Very nice quiet and clean. Mr Robert was very helpful and very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay and will return sometime in the spring. Also the beach is within walking distance. Tuckaway shores had everything we needed.

The folks that operate Tuckaway pay atttention to details! The sliding glass doors on the 2nd 3rd floors open open up the space to put you on the beachfront. Very happy for this very comfortable beachfront unit that had everything we wanted! Not new or upscale or fancy, but older, well kept, bright and tasteful.

Unit was very nicely updated with amazing views of the beach and waves, kitchen was well stocked for making meals, bed was comfortable. Only complaint we had was the door to the deck was very hard to open (doorknob was tricky).

This place is phenomenal for families with small children. We spent 4 nights and cooked majority of those nights. I brought some kitchen utensils and I honestly didn't need any of them. There were some things that I went out and bought out of personal preference like paper towels and soap, but that is me being picky. We stayed on the third floor, and while I loved the window that opened, it would have been nice to have a balcony, but I know those rooms are smaller. Staff was wonderful and accommodating and I was able to do laundry one day. I will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful retro inn. We stayed in a second floor king bed unit which came with lots of space and a wonderful view of beach from our balcony.
