Location was pretty good. Bedding configuration was not as agreed upon and took 3 hours for it to be rearranged, one room had no towels.
Carpark is very tight and a nightmare of more than one car is moving.
There are other places to stay in Melbourne similarly priced but superior to the experience at the oaks.

This is the third time here and is so good, so close to everything. Staff are so welcoming and helpful.

staff were out of this world rude and just no customer service skills at all on the Sunday the 18th of August, they hung the phone up whilst i was speaking, were utterly rude to my partner and straight up didn’t care one bit about what we were saying and just cut us off. the staff in the Monday tho were beautiful.
The room was disgusting with stains everywhere and the tvs not working what so ever

Front desk Staff were amazing but property owner/managemt team need to do something about the noise pollution and the fact that it’s very hard to renter the hotel room/apartment when the door mechanism is not working, it’s not acceptable to have to try multiple room cards to try and enter a room only to be advised the room lock is not working,
We were room moved but this should not be happening.
Your staff should not be placed in this position because of fixable maintenance issues that have not been addressed.
Your maintenance guy attended but gave us new keys but as soon as he had clocked off for yhe day the issue happened again where we could not get into our room. Maintenance worker should have changed the lock battery as soon as there was as there was an issue

The shower in the one bedroom is absolutely NOT up to standard. I could not even get the water to cover my body. The room is old, the tv is too small. The balcony had a container filled with cigarette butts in it. I stay in Oaks all the time and this hotel is below par. I am a Travel Manager and would not recommend that standard to clients sorry guys. Oaks on william is much better

Hotel very basic, great location but not clean had to get the bed topper changed covered in stains. No where to sit as there is no table and chairs, no coffee or sugar, there was a kettle and cups and glasses.

The heater didn’t work and I had 1 thin doona, I couldn’t get to sleep due to being cold and had nothing warm to wear in bed. I finally rang reception to get another doona and a portable heater. The bed was very hard- needs a mattress topper for warmth and comfort.

I would not recommend staying at these tired old apartments. The bathrooms are in need of renovation, the lounge rooms and kitchens, likewise. Connecting to the Internet (advertised as free) was almost impossible to do, and when eventually this occurred, it was so slow that it reminded me of the days when dial-up modems were in use. The washer/dryer in the apartment did not work properly, and as there was no room service I needed to constantly ask for more towels, which often didn’t arrive. Service was terrible.

This is potentially an excellent property. The room is fine with stunning city views. It is close to the theatres and tram and train connections. The negative is the grubby bathroom (grout mold) an lack of kitchen utensils.
