A lot of high hopes based on the feedback from Colleague. But very disappointed with the ability to maintain room temperature very cold at night at 10 o’clock when the setting was put on auto.

Upgraded, so had free drinks, coffee and discount on food. Room very comfortable and nicely decorated. Bar area very nice.

room was a little run down, carpet in corridor was worn and torn. staff were rather abrupt and rude. i wont be rushing back

Not great. Issues wirh electrics in the room which were not solved during my stay.

Was upgraded on arrival and was told our new check out time was 2pm which was great for me and my partner to have a lie in after a lovely meal in Sheffield the night before

Excellent parking, room and breakfast. Key card needed resetting almost immediately and another guest made lots of noise for over 2 hours overnight. We mentioned it next day and was told that she was made to leave but I think that 2 hours was excessive for other guests to endure

Loved the location as it's under 10 minutes from Sheffield train station. Less then 5 minutes from the shopping area with plenty of food options. Hotel is very new, room facilities is excellent however the only disappointment is that the bed is quite high and the duvet feels very heavy for a late summer/early autumn time.

Room nice and clean. Comfortable bed. One pillow lumpy but there were 2 each and I only use one so not a problem. Comfortable stay. Breakfast was nice. Overall pleasant experience.

Hotel was good but as I paid a bit more than the average in Sheffield I did expect certain things. As the weather was very warm I was happy to know we had aircon. Unfortunately it was controlled by the hotel and kept switching off. They did provide us with a fan a free drinks for the trouble but unfortunately we had a terrible night. Was too hot and fan was noisy.

Great location and car parking deal at the local Apcoa (£9 overnight and about 2 mins walk away). Lovely hotel, spacious family room for x3 of us, double sofa bed already made up for us. Spotless and everything working well, TV, iron, fan (needed as was warm night), shower etc. didn’t use the kettle but plenty of tea/coffee etc available. Complementary coffee vouchers were a nice treat. We pre-booked breakfast (paid x2 adults and got child free £26 total), which we enjoyed. All staff were great too. I reserved but paid at the hotel but it had gone up by about £8 by the time we checked in so I should have chosen to “pay now”! Still a good price for a really great hotel! Definitely a good find and we will return!

Really nice hotel and staff were lovely. Air conditioning let it down. It was a very hot day and I couldn’t wait to get inside and cool off. The A/C was not great and when I left in the morning there was a pool of water by the door under a vent; the whole carpet was soaking. Also parking cost me £22 for the night which was NOT as advertised. Not sure I’d stay again.

It was unfortunate that the day we arrived was the day of the riots....however on arrival staff were already taking safety precautions and testing doors and procedures. They went out of their way to help us stay safe. Providing a map to help us take the best routes. We did have a problem with our AC but again staff were very obliging and changed our room. The staff on the front desk were polite, friendly and very helpful. The views weren't fantastic but the room was extremely cosy and comfortable.

Shower just terrible! Everything broken. Bed is old, damaged and not comfortable. Overall probably 3 star hotel

The hotel is beautiful. The staff were helpful and polite. The room was spacious, clean and good facilities. I couldnt fault the hotel and i have booked to stay in the Manchester one already

A very pleasant, tastefully decorated hotel within a short walk of City Hall. Friendly, efficient staff and a well-stocked cabinet selling various items you may have forgotten to bring along. Our room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and total blackout curtains. Three lifts ensured that there was no waiting around on the landings. A stay here is highly recommended - however, the only thing to bear in mind is that the location isn't very wheelchair friendly. There doesn't seem to be a drop-off area outside the hotel for disabled people, with the nearest car park being NCP Matilda Street, about 100 meters away. And on the subject of parking, Matilda Street appears to be the best option; the hotel offers discounted rates for the Moor multi-storey across the road, but it's still hideously expensive, as is parking on the streets behind the Leonardo.

Had a lovely stay here. We were going to a festival and staff let us check in early which was much appreciated. Clean hotel, great staff, nice bar.

Sporting week swimming, every effort was made to facilitate early breakfasts and prompt room cleans to allow sleep before pm finals. Excellent cant fault it.

The aircon/heating in the room was broken and the room was far too hot to have a comforatble nights sleep; so I barely slept. Very uncomfortable night!
