Very warm and friendly

Had a 5 night stay at Haven House Torquay and after a long 5 hour drive I was warmly welcomed by Mel and shown to my room. The room was clean and well furnished, and I had everything I needed for my stay. Parking was free on the street. The B&B is in a quiet location and only a 10 minute walk from the promenade. With just 6 rooms it is a small B&B with rooms downstairs and upstairs, just one flight of stairs.
There is an excellent variety of breakfast options each morning with Mel front of house and Alistair cooking. The fried breakfast was utterly delicious every morning with quality produce and cooked to perfection. Plenty of tea, coffee, toast, juice and fruit to choose from as well. My room was refreshed every day and a really nice touch was the two Celebrations every time I returned to my room. It was a wonderful stay with the perfect hosts and a lovely B&B. Highly recommend Haven House.

We stayed here here for one night and I would recommend. The people were very friendly and had lots of info on the local area. The room was basic and the shower needs updating but everything was pretty clean and the bed comfortable.

Nice area and very friendly staff. Our room was nice and tidy and had a tv however the toilet had a lingering smell of urine and the shower was really small.

Everything was perfect. Great location and free on street parking. Breakfast was superb. Al and Mel were brilliant hosts. Highly recommended!

Really lovely clean room and great hospitality throughout, great choice of selection for breakfasts and condiments in your room. Would definitely come back and stay again.
Only problem we had was as we found the pillows to thin, this is just a minor preference.

It was absolutely beautiful experience. Alistair and Mel did everything to make our short stay as comfortable as it was possible. Our room had everything you need such as: hot shower, comfortable bed, tea/coffee/fresh water, TV e.t.c.
The breakfast was 10 of 10!
The location of the hotel is super! It is very close to the center but at the same time quite and easy to find a parking place for your car.
The guys were very helpful with the information.
We would definitely stay there again and recommend to our friends and anyone!

Friendly welcome and helpful advice about local attractions and eating places. Nice clean room; bed a bit soft for our taste, but plenty of hot water, and bottled water provided in the room besides tea and coffee. Very good location, quiet road with free parking, within easy walking distance of the beach and town centre. Superb breakfast! Great value.

The hosts are most friendly & welcoming. The rooms are clean , beds are comfortable & little extras provided, teas & coffees & toiletries. They prepare a wonderful breakfast which caters for all requirements. I highly recommend a stay at The Haven

Amazing welcome from a lovely couple. Made us feel immediately at home. The small double room was more than adequate for a long weekend away. Breakfast was amazing. Location just a short walk away from the beach, centre and bus stops to take you anywhere around Torbay. Free street parking available in abundance and parking for guests behind the B&B. This was our second stay here and we will definitely be back!!

Lovely little guest house immaculate and well presented.
What a warm friendly greeting we were given on arrival and we were even helped to our room with our bags.
Breakfast was outstanding cooked really well and served in abundance.
We will definitely be back next time we are in Torquay

I stayed at Haven House for 7 days and found it comfortable, clean. Each day tea, coffee and water was topped up and fresh drinking water was replaced. Breakfast each morning was a standard menu but could be variable if wished. Clean and pleasant breakfast room. Both the guys running the BB were very helpful with local information.

We enjoyed our staying - room was a little small but bed was confortable and eveything was very clean - Alistair excelled with his customer service skills and he went the extra mile and even texted us while we were out saying there was not problem to have a late breakfast and check out - our breakfast was beautiful too with a good variety of continental and english breakfast choices -we will definetely go back when visiting Torquay again.

Lovely stay chocolates and bisciuts everyday in your room which never get anywhere else , the owner got me skimmed milk everyday which was very nice of him enjoyed my stay really nice hotel and staff so nice.

Free on street and private parking, gorgeous breakfast with plenty of choice, friendly and attentive hosts and the location is fantasic.

Very warm welcome. Room had everything you needed. Bottled water, plenty of tea and coffee and a welcome chocolate and biscuit. Comfortable bed. Now on to breakfast! WOW! Exceptional, cooked perfect and plenty of it, poached eggs perfect. They realised we was there to celebrate a birthday and when we returned to our rooms later that day a birthday gift was left on the bed for her. As we was only staying 2 nights we did expect the room to be serviced but it was. 10 minutes walk to the seafront so great location for us. Will definitely return to Haven House it’s the best place we have stayed in Torquay.

Had a lovely 2 day break spotless room very comfortable seating area in room very comfortable bed and pillows.
Breakfast was first class even when we slept in for our breakfast slot and i went to apologize we were welcomed into the dinning room where i had an amazing omelette thank you for that as i know its not even on the menu! Highly recommended hotel suitable for couples and families.

We enjoyed our stay at Haven House very much, we were warmly welcomed despite the late check-in, 9:30 pm.
The hotel was well situated for those who, like us, wanted to spend a restful night without the noise of a summer night at the Marina/Beach;
Simple facilities but very clean and well ventilated.
Breakfast was delicious, the crepes were very tasty and everything was very well presented.
