Our family of 6 enjoyed staying at the Bern-Westside Hotel. It's comfortable, clean, and attached to a mall, and we received a 3-hour ticket to enjoy daily the Bernacqua Water Park located inside the mall. The kids and I had a blast! Public transportation to Bern’s Old Town is plenty and about 20 minutes. We recommend this hotel! PS: the only downside is that we requested foldable beds for our rooms to accommodate 2 children (16 and 11 years old) and the hotel staff said that it was not possible. When we got there, there were 2 foldable beds in two of the 3 rooms that we have booked. Thus, we booked unnecessarily the third room after the staff said that each room could accommodate only 2 guests.

Next to the Bern Westside mall and the train station. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely consider this hotel again if we go back to Bern. The train ride from main Bern station to Bern Westside is short. Definitely take advantage of the Bern visitor card the hotel gives you! Excellent location and the staff are sooo wonderful!

Was a great stay for 2 nights. Had no clue we got access to the waterpark attached to the shopping Centre there so that was a bonus for the kids. Rooms were clean and quiet. Had an issue with a leak from our AC dropping onto the floor but staff were quick to offer us a change of rooms. She even found us in the restaurant to bring us the key and explain what happened. Easy parking in the shopping Centre lot underground as well. Definitely recommend.

Good place to be

The hotel staff is very friendly and professional. Our room was basic but clean with a comfortable bed, excellent shower, free WIFI, and small flatscreen TV. Dogs are allowed. The hotel has a parking garage that can be reached by an elevator and is connected to a shopping mall. Free public transportation is offered direct to and from Bern city (~20 minutes). We had a great time and will be back!

Location is very convinient if you use bernaqua. But poor english level for receptionists. If you are not german speaker don't expecting the information in details. Answer rudely even if they didn't understand my question at the front desk. There is No professionnalisme ! Check well your credit card bill after check out ! They took some cost from my credit card, which i didn't use, without asking or checking further. No word of sorry or try to solve quickly because 'it's very busy season now'

The highlight of our stay was service from staff. Everyone is really warm, welcoming and helpful. Location is very convenient as just opposite a tram and train station. Hotel has a tie-up with Bernaqua which is really nice. Hotel is attached to a mall so ample options for food and drinks. Pictures on Expedia were misleading and the standard room is very crammed especially if one need an extra cot. Even executive rooms are bit tired and design is awkward specially of the bathroom door. It’s impossible to not disturb everyone if there is a need to use bathroom at night or early morning; because the door is a sliding glass door which does not stop light and sound.

Nice hotel with big and clean rooms. Located next to a shopping mall and free entrance to a wonderfull water park. I must highlight the best service from Hassan in the reception. He would always service and quickly take care of all our needs. Hassan turned the experience from a 4 star hotel to a 5 star hotel! I would highly recommend the hotel.

Unbelievably quiet room, very clean and the location is ideally situated for access to public transport and convenient shopping without having to step outside. Get a map for the parking garage to find your way out, the validated pass does not open all gates! The bath towels are great for defoliation and if you are looking for a USB port in the room, let me know where to find one. My hint to you is: If you look for one behind the pictures on the wall, you will be done quickly, because there is only one small minimalist one. Other than that, I can highly recommended this hotel and I would not not mind staying there again if my relatives in the neighborhood have no room for me. It was a wonderful stay indeed!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quite friendly staff. The property has easily assess to both the shopping mall and public transport. The buffet breakfast had good selection of food and they were refill constantly. Unfortunately, the breakfast area was invaded by flys and while we were having the breakfast, we had to chase away the flys all the time. The hotel room we got had also an unpleasant smell.

Good for the money. No parking and expensive, no breakfast and super expensive. you can buy at the local supermarket one block from the hotel.

Mostly good experience. They should say what the fitness center hours are explicitly: only when I checked in did it turn out that the pool only opens at 10 AM, so if you are on a business trip, there is no chance of an AM swim.

Very nice and clean room. Very friendly staff. The highlight is the access to the Westside swimming pool, which is a fantastic place.

The Hotel itself is OK - simple & clean rooms - No minibar in the room - the selection for the breakfast is nice - the staff is very friendly and helpful. What I didn't like was the booking policy. My friend stayed for two nights - booking wasn't a problem. I want to stay just one night and the hotel was fully booked. When booking two nights at the same date, it worked. Seems the hotel doesn't like to host guest for one night only even if the prices aren't really low... If not really necessary I will not stay there again...

The free entry to the aqua park was the only perk that made this stay memorable. Other than that, everything was extremely ordinary and mediocre

Very good hotel and service. but it's not in the city centre. You need to get a tram or train (15-20 mins). It has a big mall below the hotel

The hotel is lacking personality. Well organised, very clean room and public space but employees don't really engage with most clients.

Airconditioning is ‘temperamental’, making the cooling down if the rooms ‘tricky’. Apart from that a great hotel, great staff and great value for money!

Located next to a shopping mall and opposite a train station. 10-15 mins by train to the city centre. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were pretty spacious and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great experience . Great hotel. Good service and very nice swimming pool.

It was nice that the staff provided free transportaction tickets for us to se their buses and trains within Bern.But the bathroom design was awful. The sliding glass door didn’t close, it was only partially frosted and anyone that you are sharing the room with can see you showering and using the toilet. The door was not soundproof either! The shower itself was only half glassed so water would go all over the floor.

We really enjoyed our stay. because of other committment we couldnt explore everything but overal this hotel is very covenient for shopping and to travel around.
