This is my home away from home. However there are changes that I was not happy with. I have been staying here over 10 years and I was disappointed to see they are no longer putting 2 bottles of water in the rooms daily. Even though I am disappointed with that I am still going to stay there

I’ve stayed here 6-8 times over the past several years. Previously it was called the Spanish Court Hotel, but I’m told it’s under the same ownership and they simply rebranded it.
Check in staff was friendly but struggled with the software. Spend 20+ minutes checking in after 12 hours of travel, reaching the destination, isn’t ideal.
Check out was similar. Just at 5am as I was rushing to the airport.
The cafe has been enclosed. Tried having a drink in there but it was raining and the roof leaked in multiple places. Service also very slow. Not ideal when you’re selling $16 G&T.
Dinner in restaurant was okay. The service was slow despite them having more workers than patrons. $70 seems a bit excessive for oxtail and 2 Red Stripe, but maybe that’s the typical hotel rate in Jamaica.
Breakfast is difficult for the business traveler because it doesn’t start until 7. Seems like it was 6 on previous trips. Omelet bar is a thing of the past. It was okay, but pretty uninspiring. Again, almost as many works as patrons, but still slow coffee service and I didn’t see one person receive a glass of water.
No update to rooms as far as I could tell, other than a record player and Bob Marley vinyl that was for sale.
Sky bar was completely closed. Not sure if it is to be renovated.
I’ve always liked this place but will have consider other options for future visits.

I was only here for 1 night but it was what I needed. Very central location close to restaurants and night life and just 25 minutes to the airport. The staff was very efficient.

The hotel is in a business neighborhood so by early evening there aren't too many places to eat. Great food at the hotel but for exorbitant prices (even greater than too USA restaurants) and lean portions.
I hated that I could not get a microwave in my room after requesting prior to trip, calling ahead and she so was there. I bought food that needed reheating and did. It have the convenience of a microwave. Not even one in the common area! You have to take your food to the front desk and then they call up someone (nit a kitchen staff) to take it to kitchen to reheat out of your sight. It isn't warmed up properly so a waste of food. I had to take my purchased restaurant food down to my friends staying at the Courtleigh Hotel at night (since no food at hotel after 10:00 pm anywhere on the property) so they could reheat my food.
The Spanish Court is a beautiful hotel but the lack of basic amenities like that affects my decision about staying there again, even though the location is so great.

They have made some renovations but the workmanship is subpar. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. I’ve stayed here multiple times and have to rethink my next visit to Kingston.

facilities - treadmill & various weights. Nice pool area with bar - I recommend their rum punch which carries a BANG! Overall this is a well kept hotel in the heart of New Kingston.

We had an outstanding experience at the S Hotel, thanks to the exceptional staff. Moya and Nicholyn at the check-in desk were incredibly welcoming and efficient. I recently stayed at S Hotel in Kingston for three nights and had an exceptional experience. The hotel is impeccably clean and offers a peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect getaway. I was particularly impressed with the food; the options for a Jamaican breakfast were delicious, and I enjoyed every meal. However, I would love to see the addition of traditional dishes like ackee and saltfish, liver, or kidney to the breakfast menu—these would make the experience even more authentic.
The pool area is stunning, providing a great place to relax, and the music played throughout the day was both entertaining and well-chosen, adding to the enjoyable ambiance. The staff were consistently friendly and courteous, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Additionally, the beautiful artwork displayed throughout the hotel added a unique and artistic touch to the overall experience.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay at S Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kingston. I look forward to returning in the future!

S hotel is a well-kept property with beautiful charm, and makes you feel like you’re in a 10 star resort. Food was delicious exceptional service tidy and definitely will be returning. If you’re thinking about booking do it now you won’t regret it

I booked 2 rooms. One for me and one for my sister in law and her kids. There was a clear distinction in how she was treated as opposed to me. When her and the kids were at the pool, the bartenders treated her like she was a second class citizen, assuming she couldn't pay for the beverages or meals. Even when she went to the front desk to request a bottle of wine for my room which was complimentary, she was dismissed saying we don't give complimentary wine before a proper Investigation was done. I had to call and straighten it out and the young lady even hung up the phone without saying "i apologize for the inconvenience" just disconnected mid conversation. I'm very disappointed in the service disparity especially from this hotel, which I've stayed at countless times. I do hope training is implemented to remedy these kind discriminatory behavior.

The Hotel has a nice aesthetic, but showing some age. The a/c leaks, the espresso machine in the lobby bar is inoperative, the record player doesn't work, and the floors, walls, and ceilings are just due for some proper refreshing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, but paid for the deluxe room (not sure that is any different from standard), and was offered wine and water on check in, but never received. Overall, a lovely hotel, but just needs some attention.

The food was amazing. Customer service was great and the staff was professional and courteous. Some of the towels were not as white as they should have been and there was hair in the bathtub. The handle for the bath kept falling off and this was our second room because the AC to the first room was broken. We have stayed here on multiple occasions but this time was not as desirable as before. It was still good but not what we were used to.
