Good location, perfect to visit Kopalnia, Free parking, good breakfest.

Right next to the salt mine and beautiful property next to park! You can get a tour at any time even if it’s sold out if you stay here. Loved the property! The spa is a little deceiving, there’s 1 treatment room and no masseuse on site, they have to call and book it. Also the salt soak is a room with a picture of the salt cave on it so it’s not really in a salt cave.

Beautiful hotel in quiet and perfect location. Staff was super friendly. Hotel is very clean and the breakfast was delicious. Will stay there again.

The spa services were not very good and the saltwater jacuzzi wasn't either. Other than that, it's a nice place to stay and the breakfast was fantastic!

Very friendly staff. Ample parking around the hotel itself. It's a bit tricky to find since it's on the property of the Salt Mine. But, once you're there, it's smooth sailing. Literally feet from the Salt Mine entrance and ticket counter. You can even rent a room and get a ticket included. The only "issue" I had was that the wifi was inconsistent. It'd boot you off from time to time. I was able to access the Salt Mine free wifi as well so I had no real downtime. But, trying to work while traveling and needing consistent wifi was a problem.

We wanted to visit the Salt Mines so booked this hotel for its proximity. But the local train station also allowed us to get into and out of central Krakow easily as well at 70p per journey. The hotel is clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent and the staff most helpful . The beds were comfy and each room well insulated, so quiet. No door slamming etc. I would happily return.

The hotel is just a 5-minute walk to the Salt Mine and save the hassle of car-parking. The reception staff could have been more helpful with providing local information instead of telling me to check it on the Internet. The 4 star rating is perhaps overrated in terms of service standard.

We had a really great experience here. The hotel is located on salt mine grounds and very convenient to have a room there if going to visit. Room size was very big. We enjoyed the food from the restaurant on a room service basis. Breakfast buffet was good, not great.

The hotel is what it's rated at four stars. The staff are great and speak English a little or a very good level. The food is A1 too, nothing to complain about there. Even people staying at other hotels use this place. Night time is very quiet if you want that sort of thing, but you could hop on the train which is five minutes walk away and is 3plz one way and you purchase the tickets on the platform or train as the ticket machine has an English option to. The journey into the centre of Kraków is thirty minutes, if you drive that it's up to two hours or more, the staff informed us if that, as. They live there and work in the hotel.

Incredibly kind and helpful staff. Easy to get to Krakow, but there's plenty of charm in the surrounding areas, too. Highly recommend!

We just came back from a short stay at the Hotel Grand Sal. We had such a nice experience and the staff were polite and very helpful. We wanted to go to Auschwitz and the receptionist took the time to help me print the tickets for our visit. The restaurant served us delicious meals, I would definitely go back there even if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Plus, it's a quick trip into Krakow if you don't like staying in cities. We really appreciated the quietness of the area.

Three nights solo at Hotel Grand Sal. Would stay here again. Things that aren't mentioned in hotel info: secure parking for a vehicle, train station 600 meters away for sightseeing in Kraków so you don't have to take your car and deal with parking. On site massage available and was very good. The in house restaurant is wonderful, the meal I had there was the best I had while in Poland. You are staying at the salt mine, not in, but on the same campus. Beautiful park in front of the hotel, overall a very peaceful comfortable place to stay.

A real find in a great small town close to Krakow. Excellent and helpful staff that made our stay memorable. We extended our stay two days to enjoy the area and the excellent restaurants. Would recommend this hotel.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay there. We were made feel special and extremely welcomed from the moment we stepped in the door. The staff just couldn't do enough for you and the spa room all to ourselves was just what we needed after a long trip. Wished we had booked longer as it was such a lovely stay. And don't get me started on the food it was just to die for, best meal i have had in a long time.
