Lovely hotel in a great location. Service was very good and the staff were really friendly. The breakfasts were delicious - as were the afternoon treats. The room was nice and big with a king sized bed and a spa. Couldn’t have been happier and we will be going back again.

We had stayed here before about 5 years ago and enjoyed our stay that much that we decided to stay here again and we weren't disappointed. The accommodation is stylish and comfortable and has everything you need. We had a few requests that we asked of Sally and Craig and they went out of their way to help us with our needs. The location is only a short walk to the beach or a short drive to anywhere in town. The breakfast is wonderful and if you have the chance try the pears. The secret to this place is simply Sally and Craig, if we are in Albany again we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

Another fab holiday here, this time in the garden villa which has the bedroom and bathroom upstairs, this is great for longer stays as there are lounge and dining areas. Sally and Craig are outstanding hosts who’s attentive care is more like a family holiday than mere B&B. They go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy every aspect of the trip, the afternoon tea is to die for, but the breakfast is exceptional, Craig’s homemade Bircher muesli is the best, Thanks again for a wonderful holiday, we will see you both next time.

The homemade cake in your room was a lovely touch & the Port & chocolates. There was a varied choice of books & dvd’s too. The breakfast was also yummy. Couldn’t fault it.

A modern and well appointed luxury B&B located behind Middleton Beach and about 10 minutes by car from the centre of Albany. We stayed 3 nights in a room that was on the cosy side but I suspect other rooms are larger. Everything was immaculately clean. The owners and staff are wonderfully helpful and create a relaxed and happy environment. Breakfast is superb.

The B&B is such a lovely place to relax and feel comfortable and welcomed from the minute we walked in. We received great tips for the duration of our stay, restaurants z recommendation and even a room upgrade which was such a pleasant surprise as we then had a separate room for our baby. Needless to say that the very friendly owners Sally and Craig sure know how to treat their guest with a delicious breakfast. Would definitely visit again.

This is a unique situated bed and breakfast. Very comfortable and just off the most beautiful beach. It is glorious to walk on the beach in the morning. This is my second visit and again well worth it. A short drive into Albany where there is an abundance of restaurants.A very nice place for an overnight stay. The owners are truly concerned about the comfort of their guests.

A quick visit to Albany but a memorable one thanks to our stay at Bayside. Lovely hosts, beautiful room, amazing breakfast and great advice on what to see and do on a short stay. Would definitely revisit.

This small boutique hotel is a hidden gem.Customer service is exceptional, the accommodation is excellent, breakfast ( that was included) was the best we have had for a very long time. Craig and Sally , who run this wonderful boutique hotel would have to be the most welcoming people we have come across in all of our travels, both in Australia and over seas. Nothing was too much trouble. We will never stay anywhere else when we are in Albany in the future. We cant recommend this hotel too highly. Many of the large international 5 star hotels could learn from this professional and delightful couple just what customer service is.

We have stayed in many 5 star places around the world but for service, friendliness, attention to detail, etc, the Beach House tops the lot. It may be a small place but as a package it really is hard to beat. The owners Craig and Sally are wonderful hosts who pay close attention to your needs as soon as you check in. They went out of their way to ensure that we were well informed about the local area (restaurants, places to visit, shopping, tours, etc) and even provide a complimentary transport service to local places - one just needs to ask. Added to this are things like complimentary sherry and home made cakes just make the guest experience that much better and different from any establishment of this type and size. For us it is a benchmark for smaller hotels and inns - beating all that we have ever experienced. Perhaps what sums customer service best is the fact that we left our passports (doh!) and some money behind in the safe and we were 400km away from Albany when we realized it. "No problem" said Craig. Sure enough we got lot back 2 days later at our next destination. What more can we say? By the way - wonderful location too ... right next to a great beach.
