I was charged a service fee for parking even though I confirmed with the front desk that I did not have a car. Guess I will have to check out at the front desk at the Hampton Inns rather than trust that they will charge the right amount.

Nice property Right across the street from the casino and walking distance but the bed was hard. The breakfast was included and was OK.

Great place to stay.. but wasn’t happy with being charged to park. It is getting so ridiculous now that you have to pay to park!! If I’m staying at that hotel.. parking should be free!!!

This is an older Hampton Inn. It could use some general maintenance ie: clean carpets in hallways. The only employee we saw at the desk anytime we went by was Eric. Everyone else would be in the office and come out when someone was standing at the desk. Check in and out was easy. If you’re a Hilton Honors member and book through Expedia you won’t get HH points. Since they are a cashless hotel anything you get at the amenities area will be charged to your room. We needed laundry detergent and fabric softener and couldn’t pay with cash. Overall a nice hotel that was in the middle of everything we wanted to do in Arizona

The checkin process was easy and quick, the GSR provided directions to the room, discussed amenities thoroughly. I like the bathroom set up and appearance. Did not like the hard uncomfortable beds or the $5 bottles of water idea (sign is kind of hidden).

Our stay was good and the only thing that I didn’t agree on was that I had to pay for parking. It was an additional $15.00 added to my room fee. It was ridiculous because there was hardly anyone there.

Excellent location and staff. Weekday camp in Phoenix , we picked this hotel due to proximity to casino, eating , and entertainment.

Room 318 had an odor from the AC smelled like mold. The bathroom had black mold like stains on the ceiling and entire grout around the tub and a rust stain on the drain. The carpet was dirty and stained all over. Room was very outdated compared to most Hampton Inn’s. The
hallway carpet was stained and dirty. Breakfast was limited unlike most Hampton Inn’s. Won’t be back to this location.

Overall the service was good but the place was a little dated. The bathroom was in need of upgrade with the shower head spraying all over the tub and the room was stuck in the 90s.

The room had couple problems. Toilet kept on running and had to fix it every time I flush. The drain in the bathtub was clogged, and the TV did not work.

I loved that we could just walk to Talking Stick Casino. We enjoyed evening walks to The Pavilion as well. The rooms were spacious and roomy. The beds were comfortable and we slept like babies. Lol. We veey much enjoyed our time here away feom home. We'd stay again. Thanks for the delicious complimentary breakfast in the mornings, it was filling.

Hotel is nice and breakfast is good.
But this hotel has a shady practice of charging junk fees. At check in, I was told there is $15 self parking fee per night. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere with mostly empty parking lot. Why is there a daily fee? I would understand if this was a busy city where parking is premium. Then after checkout, they charged my credit card $65.34. I stayed for a night, my room was already paid in full and i had no additional charges. When I called, the hotel staff said $50 is deposit which I would get back and remaining $15.34 is an incidental fee per guest which is in their terms & conditions. This is ridiculous and dishonest!!

Everything was at least adequate if not decent or good - so no complaints about the facility and staff.
However: I do NOT appreciate being ambushed at checkout with a "parking fee" that was NOT clearly disclosed up front. Since when does a Scottsdale hotel have to become so scumbaggish? This is not a 3rd world country and companies in the USA should not act like it is. Even the poor clerk at the counter was embarrassed as she stole my money on checkout, she could not even look me in the eye. This tainted an otherwise decent stay and will definitely prevent me from wanting to stay at a Hampton Inn again. Get some honor and stop being so F-ing greedy and dishonest.
