Our deadbolt on our hotel door Room 101 was NOT working. We could not use it, so I notified the front desk. *** Note, if I had noticed that the deadbolt was NOT working first thing when we arrived I would have asked to change rooms ***Just a reminder to always check the safety of your room as soon as you arrive in any hotel room you rent !

Average hotel in north end of Winnipeg….mattresses could be replaced and the hid-a-bed was broken, but my daughter was small enough for it to work

I wanted to use the sofa bed but it did not work. That was the whole point of getting this room so both my friend and i would have our own space. I was very disappointed.

Stayed for 2 nights, with kid's they loved the pool/weterslide, room was nice and clean

The young woman working at the front desk was fantastic. She helped us find an alternate room as our first had a bad smell, and then she called to follow up with us that the new room was good. It's an older hotel, but the staff were great. The kids loved the waterslide.

The only issue we had was food service was closed and we tried to order a pizza from down the street and front desk told us to download skip the dishes or something like that instead of just ordering for us. Other than that the stay was good. We like staying here because it it easy to get around winnipeg via perimeter highway. We will continue to stay here while coming thru winnipeg

I felt safe and quiet. The property was clean inside and outside. Staff was helpful and friendly. Close and walkable and convenient to restaurants and malls . Lots of parking spaces for all vehicles.

Check in was ok. Room was clean but needed some painting. Lots of chips and cracks in the wall. The hallway had a very strong smoke like smell mixed with something rotten. Other than that the hotel was prefect for what we needed it for and the price wasn't to bad. Honestly if they could find what's causing that smell it would have all be great. I noticed I am also not the only one who had mentioned the smell.

Hotel had a bad smell down the hallway and in the rooms. Wasn’t clean bathtub stained and floor dirty and garbage in the hallways on the floor. Staff not over ally motivated took a long time to check in. Went for breakfast buffet to find out nothing until 10

The good: Clean, friendly staff, good location, reasonably comfortable and good security The not-so-good: No non-slip mats in tub No complimentary breakfast No exercise room Could not get a guide listing on the TV (picky, I know) Could not get a complimentary cup of coffee in the morning

The property is average and could use an update.

The inn was dated, but clean, our room had a window to the pool instead of a window to outside. The pool/hot tub was clean and the kids loved the waterslide. The restaurant in the hotel was closed at 7 for dine in food but the tavern/pub attached was open and allowed kids in for dinner.

The hotel was great. It isn’t fancy but it was all that we needed for a couple of days.

Nice suite but hard bed. Fireplaces not working. Front desk staff not very friendly or helpful

I really like the service, second time I’ve been there and the same guy has served me, he’s always very polite and friendly. The fire alarm went off once but it wasn’t long for the fire team to come and let us back on promptly so that was great. I definitely appreciate the service they offer there

Staff were a home run! Cleanliness of this hotel was obviously of high importance to all staff as we were very impressed with the hotel lobby, pool, and our room! We slept well and loved every second in the pool! That waterslide? Unbelievable! Great job to everyone from front desk, security, pool technician to the cleaning staff! Thank you for taking care of my family and I!

I'm not crazy about the Alto restaurant. But, I like the pleasant staff and the rest of the facility

The hotel was very noisy, won't stay there again because of that.

Pool was great for the kids. Lots of restaurants to order from in the area. Restaurant was pretty good in the hotel itself. Overall we all enjoyed our stay.

Liked the restaurant, food was good and the pool was fun for the kids.

What I didn't like were the uneven and missing paving stones, which made walking on these areas rather dangerous.

9 of us stayed in 2 rooms (5 grandchildren- newborn to 7 years old, 3 kids-12 to 28 years old) for a mental health break. I was so nervouse we would be judged, as an Indigenous family with lots of kids in tow but the check in clerk was exteremely friendly and warm, which put my mind at ease. After our check in, we split up to go into our rooms and slept for the night. THE PILLOWS!!! They were the best pillows I've laid my head on in a long time, and we had 3 on each bed. I wish I had asked where they were from! The beds were comfy and the sheets were clean and comfortable too. The pool, hot tub and splash pad were so much fun! The older kids loved the slide, the smaller ones enjoyed playing in the splash pad part and I loved the hot tub! Now... the one downside. In the morning, my family and I got out of bed and wandered to Aalto's, looking for breakfast. Admittedly, we were disheveled and the kids were excited. The man who "greeted" us quickly said "the pool is the other way" and started to walk away. I said, "We want breakfast, not the pool". The waiter was excellent, but the first man made me feel like we didnt belong there. I will definitely be staying there again, but wont go to Aaltos.

Friendly and efficient check-in. Secure. Quiet. Lovely room although lacking a window you can look out of, it being narrow and up by the ceiling.
