I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. As we were getting married in Elounda I emailed the hotel before our arrival to make sure it was ok for us to invite guests over who were not staying at the hotel and they were more than happy for us to do so. On our arrival we found we had been upgraded to a wonderfully spacious family suite and the fridge had a complimentary bottle of wine and water. On the day of the wedding, while we were out at lunch, Anna and her helpers, decorated the suite with hearts and rose petals and left a beautiful bouquet of flowers and bottle of champagne which all helped to make our wedding day in Crete the beautiful day that it was. As for the hotel itself, it is spotlessly clean with a nice relaxing pool area and is only a couple of minutes walk from the main town square, restaurants and beach. SOme of our friends also stayed at the hotel and they were as impressed as we were with the rooms, pool area and particularly the friendliness of the staff. A huge thank you to Anna, Mario and all the other staff at the EGS, we would definitely love to stay here again and certainly recommend it it anyone else staying in Elounda.

Warm and welcoming staff who were very familiar with Elounda town and its restaurants. Pool nice to cool off on the hot days—it would be nice if their bar staff went around and asked sunbathers every once in awhile for drink orders. Good mix of private and public spaces on the property. Rooms were very clean. We weren’t thrilled with the town of Elounda but chose it more as a jumping off place for day trips in the region.

We liked everything about our stay here, location is central Elounda. Room was comfortable and cleaned every day. Bath robes and slippers were a lovely touch. The pool was relaxing and the staff first class. Good selection of food and drinks...all served with a 5 star rating. Elounda Garden Suites is an outstanding place to stay in such an unspoiled location in Crete.

Very nice little property in the heart of Elounda. From our arrival until departure, everyone was welcoming and efficient, especially Maria and Anna. Breakfast is simple but high quality local products. The lady who serve breakfast is flexible and does amazing eggs! We were upgraded to a suite facing the pool for our anniversary. A bottle of wine and fruits were waiting for us in the room and a welcome drink at the reception! The suite was simple and functional with a little kitchenette. I would have put a little flat note for the cleanliness that could be improved, especially for dusting furniture on daily basis because i am a bit allergic to dust, but he ho, it was ok. Amenities are at your disposal as well. Pool area are well maintained with a lovely little bar. We would have appreciated a heated pool in April/May/ coz the water was more than chilly. The Greek hospitality went beyond our expectation. We felt very spoilt. This property is a real hidden gem and 5min walk from the village! Thank you to the team for being so attentive to our needs and be so friendly.

I have travelled a lot since many years, but I have never come across a hotel with a better service than EGS - it is extraordinary. Great breakfast, varied from day to day, and extensive service to the guests of the hotel. The hotel and the area around it is spotlessly clean. Staff provides assistance with sightseeings and selection of restaurants both in Elounda and in Agios Nikolaos - and the restaurants we visited were outstanding. The hotel is situated very well in a quiet neighborhood, very close to shops and restaurants etc in the centre of Elounda. Elounda itself is a very nice town with lots of good restaurants and beautifully located very close to Spinalonga Island - and only 10 kms from Agios Nikolaos.

The perfect balance between hotel and apartment. All the services of a hotel but with a small kitchen area which is just right for breakfast or a light lunch. The staff are all exceptional, very warm and friendly but totally professional. Great location with all the amenities of Elounda close by but really quiet. No sea view but lovely views of the surrounding mountains and olive groves. Our room was spacious with two balconies: one with loungers, the other a table and chairs. There was even a small airier, with pegs provided, for drying swimwear, etc. The pool area was clean with plenty of comfortable loungers.

Elounda is a beautiful village in Crete where friendliness abounds. We had a perfect Holiday.

Amazing hotel, amazing place! This hotel is excellent value for money - excellent food, spacious rooms, clean confortable. I would recommend this hotel above lots of five star places I have stayed. It really is fabulous. Only negative I can say is the beds aren't as comfortable as they could be but that is a minor thing I would not let that put you off!

From the moment we walked through the garden (lemon, orange, grapefruit and olive trees) we loved it. It is new, spotless and perfect for chilling out. We stayed over Easter and the staff and owners put on a special barbecue for the guests to make up for the fact that much of the village was closed. The welcome was as warm as the beautiful weather... The food was beautifully prepared and presented every day and the staff were always willing to give advice or guidance on how to make the most of each day. Absolutely lovely - recommended

If you want to feel like your in paradise then Elounda Gardens is the place to be. It is so peaceful and relaxing with a superb backdrop of the mountains yet only 3 minutes walk to the beautiful town and bay of Elounda. Our room was very spacious and clean with everything you need for your stay with cooking facility's (not that you'll need them) the breakfast you can have in the morning is just exceptional cooked by the wonder Catarina!! Manager Mario cannot do enough for you and makes your stay incredible. Next year we will be staying there much longer can't wait and already booked

Only stayed for 4 nights as we were travelling round the island but found Elounda Garden Suites to be roomy, clean and within easy walking distance to resturants etc.. Mario is always on hand if you experience any problems. Would recommend a stay here.

We have just spent our honeymoon at the Elounda Garden Suites and can't thank Mario and his wonderful staff enough. From the moment we arrived they went out of their way to welcome us and cater for our every need. The breakfast was delightful plenty of choice and all presented with flair. The rooms were tastefully furnished and cleaned to a very high standard on a daily basis. Mario was very helpful with suggesting places we should visit and restaurants we should eat in. He often liked to surprise his guests with free smoothies or sangria whilst lying by the pool. The pool area was very peaceful and clean always plenty of comfy sun beds and towels available upon request. We asked for a nice room and this was certainly provided we had 3 balconies so could always sit in the sun when we wanted to. Complimentary wine and fruit were provided upon our arrival even though it was a late flight. The location was superb right in the heart of the town but without any noise to disturb us. We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel book quickly to avoid missing out.

We had a great 2 weeks at elounda garden suites. Rooms are spacious and very clean-fresh towels every day. Staff are so helpful and friendly. They cannot do enough for you especially Mario and George. Thanks!! Will definitely return to EGS.

The hotel staff could not do enough for us. It felt like visiting a close relative. It was reasonably priced but wine, water and fruit in the room and a great breakfast. The staff even gave us a present of local produce when we left. The hotel is small but very comfortable and a few minutes from the centre of Elounda. We would definitely use it again.

Elounda Garden Suites is a fantastic place which provides a relaxing stay catered by friendly staff. The room was of a good size, pool area was always very clean and the friendly staff always on call if you require anything. I think the running of breakfast could be improved however the service and quality of food is of a high standard. Overall Elounda was a great place to stay and I would recommend it to people of all ages looking.

I stayed at Elounda gardens earlier this year and was a little apprehensive about returning. We had had such a perfect time I worried that, after a busy season, the strain would be showing. Could not have been more wrong. The rooms are as clean and well kept as ever, Alex and his team are still as helpful ...always smiling , always anxious to make sure your stay is exactly as you want it. Katerinas home baking cannot be beaten; the pool and surrounding area as welcoming as before, the whole experience ..just perfect !

We were greated by a very warm welcome from Alex. We new instantly we had made the right choice. all areas were spotless, the pool area looked very nice. Our room was very clean also quite private. the kitchen had very little equipment, but anything we requested was given to us. so to us this wasn't a problem. a few little problems but they were also,resolved almost immediately. My husband and I haven't booked self catering for many years, so this was quite different from our normal 5 star hotels. Having said that, this hotel suited us very well on this occasion. we would recommend this hotel, if you want a small intimate and quiet hotel near the centre of Elounda I recommend this one. The staff were never intrusive and we felt very relaxed.
