All good

The property was somewhat rundown, not just old, but a bit neglected. The location was very convenient, minutes away from the Metro. It was easy to get to the featured places on foot or by public transportation. Based on the location we got our monies worth.

This hostel/hotel was located in a great neighborhood, walkable to many restaurants and shops and to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart (15 minutes and a lot of stairs though!). The lodging itself was a good value for the price but things were rather worn in our room, the mattress was quite uncomfortable, and there were mold and ants in the bathroom. There are stairs to the rooms. We were only there to sleep so if I could get a more comfortable mattress, I’d stay here again. Sheets and bedding were clean. Breakfast was not a good value. We were able to compile a delicious breakfast for three from local bakeries and supermarkets for less than the cost of breakfast for one at the hostel.

Great, charming spot to stay! Not quite in Mortmarte neighbourhood, but very easy/quick walk will bring you there- and you have views of the Sacre Cour from your window! Clean and bright. Loved that there was (paid) laundry to get us caught up. Take note there is no lift so you’ll be climbing multiple flights of stairs to your room, but we thought that was just part of the Parisian charm.

The location was quiet and felt safe. The rooms were basic and not quite like the photos. Beds were comfy and rooms were warm. Breakfast was OK.

All their rooms had bed bugs or were booked and they turned us away in the night to find a place to stay elsewhere with no help in getting a refund

great location in Montmartre near jules jofrin metro stop. lots of cafes, bakeries, stores within walking distance. no elevator. no a/c.

If you are looking for a clean affordable stay in Paris, this is it. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is a hostel not a Five Star Resort. But what it does, it does well. We really enjoyed our stay here.

It was a hostel which it wasn’t clearly stated in the expedia listing. Pictures look better that the real room. It was clean and staff was nice and helpful, but very old property, the room and beds are small and the card key had to be magnetized after each use. It wasn’t too bad but not what I was expecting based on the expedia listing. However, the location is very good.

We were told to leave the room key when we left the hotel, that was unexpected. It was a place to sleep and nothing else.

The pictures are probably 20 years old.. The property is clearly not maintained and I probably the worst of all, you can hear people in the other rooms as well as if they were sleeping in your room! This is not worse the price! Don’t even try breakfast, there are plenty of options around and even go up to Sacre coeur for a croissant and a coffee with a view instead! The staff was clearly not liking this place either

Great location in the lovely Montmatre district. Walking distance to Sacre Coeur and the metro. Relaxed accommodation with nice hang out in the kitchen and living room. However, the kitchen was sparsely equipped and forks were largely missing. There was no cleaning schedule for the fridge, or rather, there was but it was not followed by the staff. So without exaggeration, we can say that it was the fridge from hell. The street outside was noisy with traffic. The accommodation included sheets and towels, which was a pleasant surprise as we thought we needed to bring our own. The best part was the bathroom, so charming, with a window!

This is a great and affordable place to stay! Lot’s if native families stayed here so it meets all the basic needs. It’s a ten minute walk up the hill to Sacre Coeur and the best view of the city day or night. Staff is friendly and helpful with anything you need.

I was in the 6th floor we need more amenities tv, chairs, breakfast was very poor

Maltrato

1) AWFULLY dirty, freezing cold and NEVER renovated W.C., mould on the windows and an extremely small shower cabin. 2) Lack of soundproof rooms 3) Dangerous staircase (narrow and slippery stairs) 4) Uncomfortable beds with hard mattresses (like sleeping on the floor) 5) Walls in medium shape with holes on them. 6) Yet it is located very close to a popular neighborhood.

I had I good experience, the room was clean, I shared the room with 3 other girls so that was nice cause I felt comfortable in that way, the price is low so I couldn't ask for More, also they have a cafeteria with FREE coffee and chocolate, and free juice, there's no elevator but that's ok again the price is very low so I understand that they don't have an elevator :)

An amazing location with adequate conditions. Quite clean with friendly, helpful staff. Perfect in terms of price-quality ratio.

Very friendly, welcoming and helping staff. Had a relaxed, pleasant stay. meeting with an international crowd of travellers. Easily accessible by metro and other forms of public transport.

Great atmosphere, however rooms very small. A toaster in the communal area would be great and is normal for hostels. Safe and clean however which are my main priorities.

all excellent staff very attentive, very clean rooms, bathrooms everything is very good, I would definitely recommend everyone 1A economic and very serca service of all A ++++++

It's got a great location, but the bed was just inches from the next one and there is no privacy curtain. The shower unit was tiny. The place is not clean, there was all sorts of trash under my bed. The biggest problem though is noise, you can hear everything from the other rooms, people talking, having sex and the constant sound of footsteps as people go up and down the old creaky wooden staircase. I picked the place for the location, which you cannot fault, but for the money, the hostel could be a lot better. There is nowhere to stash you things in the room apart from on your bed, and no lockers in the room either. Check in staff were wonderful, but the guy doing the checkout was a total disaster as he worked incredibly slowly even though there were lots of people wanting to depart.

My stay was very short, so I didn't get to take advantage of every amenity. Unfortunately, in my room, there was only one outlet (that I could find) between the other occupant and myself, so I had to charge my phone in a different room. Other than that, it was great for the 5 hours I stayed.

I will not recommend this place , no elevator , staff not so friendly

Good Reception staff were very friendly . Good breakfast Bad: Had a quilt which had blood stains in it.. Odd checkin time ( 3pm) Altogether it was fine...

This is a hostel that offers "family rooms" which are comfortable and well equipped with appropriate amenities. I would however, recommend that any family coming from overseas request a room that does not have windows opening on the courtyard. As this is a hostel there are many young people that congregate and chat in the courtyard well past the 10 pm curfew, and the noise bounces off the stone walls into the windows several floors up. The staff dealt with this issue multiple times and were very kind. Nevertheless, I would not recommend putting a family in a room with windows opening on the courtyard.

The bed is comfortable and linen is very cleann including towels. Air condition that works. Friendly reception.

We had a beautiful view from our balcony of Sacred Couer. The people were very nice and our adult children each had their own bed.The stairs tothe fifth floor were tough.
