I don't see why a substantial deposit is required. This just adds complications. The apartment was a good size.

Having an apartment on the route of the Berlin marathon was great! Two U-Bahn lines are within walking distance, making getting around the city easy. The amenities are outstanding. As a frequent traveler, I deeply appreciated having a selection of tea, sugar, and salt & pepper in the kitchen.

Det receptionists were very friendly and serviceminded, the apartment was great for the price, first floor, not much noise, high ceiling, a big main room with shared livingroom and kitchen and a big dining table. Tvs in both bedrooms and the livingroom. I would stay here again, BUT there is no adequate circulation of air, you have to keep the windows a bit open, the only place with a went is in the bathroom, so maybe keep the door open to the bathroom. One bedroom is without any windows and airvents, and you will have to keep the door open so it doesnt get to warm and/or you will have bad air during the night if you are two persons. There are three big fans for every room that are quite good, but that doesnt help with getting new air in, and they are noisy (like all fans), if put on the highest level. For me it disturbs sleep. One of my friends actually went into the living room to sleep because it got to hot one night. I have no idea why they didnt installed airducts/vents when they refurbished the apartment, because its clear they put effort into it, and it has good standard. The location is good, not so far to the ubahn, and then just a few stops to Zoologischer Garten that will connect you with most trains/buses/ubahns. 3.40 euro to get there with connections from the airport (1.10 hours.), around 40-50 euro if you use an uber (25-30 minutes). I recommend this place, but beware of the situation with an lack of aircondition. If you dont mind using fans, go for it.

The hotel called me, where I told them of late check in. They promised to send a self check in link, which they didn’t . So I wasn’t able to check in at 2am on the street and have to find another hotel by myself. And I need to work next morning 7am. Avoid this hotel at all cost

Great apartment, super staff, central location, we had a very nice stay.

We had a late check in, 9pm and there were no lights at the entrance of the property. Had I been by myself it would not have felt safe as the area around the property is rough. There was no way to call or speak to anyone. The first night we had to endure loud noise as there was a party next door. If you’re a female traveling by yourself, I definitely do not recommend this place.

Tiny, but nice room that had everything we needed. Great location. Many big sights within walking distance and U-bahn around the corner. Lovely coffee shops and restaurants in the streets close by as well as grocery stores with generous opening hours. This is a great place for a city holiday. Hotel reception is highly unavailable, stated opening hours do not apply in practice. Stated emergency number did not work either. Wi-fi typically non-functional. Apparently there are issues with the supplier and the reception has a solution for additional bandwidth, but then again they would have to be present to provide it. This seems to be a very quiet area. On the Saturday night there was live music somewhere in the building (not in the hotel) until 4 am. If sleep is important to you, it might be worth checking out if there are any concerts planned during your stay. Basically just make sure you do not need any additional hotel service except checkin/out and you’ll have a great stay.

Apartments are very small with no doors

The rooms were very nice and with a modern feel. The surrounding area was the strip club part of town.

When we walked into our 3 bedroom apartment for The 1st time we were Completely blown away by the decor, Space, cleanliness and overall feel of the place. It was truly a home away from home. Housekeeping did a fantastic job refreshing the space every day. The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. I must note that the office/front desk is not open 24hours. They have more “regular” business hours. The location is perfect. There are all kinds of Stores and restaurant around, including grocery stores and pharmacy. We were gifted with a bottle of champagne and pastries to ring in the new year. We’ve stayed at many 5 star hotels around the world and this is by far one of favorite stays so far. Can’t sing enough praises for the Arabel. It was better than amazing! Thank you...

Location is a little far From everything. The actual hotel/apartments are very nicely kept. Staff in the office that there is is nice and spoke English. The only bad part is that the staff is not there 24hrs. They have their servicing hours at the door.

This time there were the usual assortment of shampoo/conditioner/lotion/bodywash... my only complaint previously - 5 stars - you won’t believe the value here offseason...

The apt service is not 5 star as the website shown . It should be 4 star only . Staff was nice , room was good shower area not that clean . Overall I gave this place 7from 10 or 3.5 from 5

This was the nicest place I have ever stayed in in Berlin! It was a very welcoming, clean and spacious studio flat that was perfect for 3 nights in Berlin. Good location as it's well connected to the U-bahn. I will be trying to stay here every time I come to Berlin from now on.

A great apartment style hotel, modern and tastefully decorated with plenty of space. We were in a one bedroom apartment, which had a comfortable double bed, plenty of wardrobe space, a spacious living room and little, yet well equipped, kitchenette. A micorwave was the only thing missing. There was a seperate bathroom with shower, but no bathtub. The Arabel is quite centrally located and the city centre is easily reachable by public transport. Bus stops and 2 U-Bahn stations are within walking distance.

Loved the property...great size and location. I only wish that there was an available washer/dryer to do laundry. They did offer a service but it had to be in by 1pm if we wanted it back the same day. We didn’t have a laundry bag so the gentleman at the front desk said one would be delivered to us. It never was brought up and then it was too late for our laundry to be done. Had to wash our clothes in the sink and hang them to dry so all is well that ends well — just one minor inconvenience. The breakfast each morning was also amazing.

Clean, good size and central location perfect to see the city.

There was no air-conditioning, which meant I needed the windows open for fresh air and to cool the apartment in 28degree+ days. This was noisy as the courtyard was unmanned by security and full of people partying and smoking all night.My room was not cleaned or serviced for 2 days, despite me requesting this There was also a large city tax added at the end of my stay, which I had not been informed about. Gentleman at reception was kind and tried to help as best as possible, but all in all a disappointing experience that I wont be returning too.

Lovely apartment, rooms generally large. Berlin was hot so every room had a large fan to help keep it cool... which they just about managed to do for comfortable sleeping.Little kitchen area is well appointed and served our needs, for coffee making and an easy breakfast of cereal one day. Nice having 2 bathrooms with 5 of us. All in all a great place to stay and an easy walk to the U train for access to all the major Berlin highlights.

Lovely room, bright and spacious with a great bed. Staff were always helpful and friendly!
